Worst Customer Service, they do not disclose that you need to be in the location to cancel your account and assistant manager tried telling me that I need to call another number to dispute my charges. Because they do not give a refund in the store for unlimited car wash accounts. Which again was not disclosed to me before I signed up. Called the place all day and no one picked up the phone. Left two voicemails to have someone call me back and never got a call back. When I finally spoke to the manager I was already irritated that I have been calling all day. I will admit my voice was louder than usual but I am a loud person to begin. Person on phone assistant manager name Ricardo started to get upset that I was upset and started talking over me. He kept a talking to someone on the side explaining to them that "he was talking to a lady who he is trying to help but they are just yelling" like I wasn't hearing him. When I told him I wanted to cancel my account he said I needed to be at the location which made me even more upset being that they never disclosed this information to me. When I signed up they said I can cancel anytime and that it was easy to do so. So as I try to express my frustration to Ricardo. His response was I don't know why you're upset ma'am I'm telling you what needs to be done to resolve your problem and continues to talk over me when I explain why I am so upset. Then I ask about how I will her my refund and he says they do not do that in the store. That I have to call another number to be able to do that. So as you can imagine. I was now at a boiling point. Prior to then taking money out of my account that's an overcharge they had done the same thing last time when I was in the store and the manager at the time was able to refund me what I was over charged and when I had told him that makes no sense why can I not get a refund when I go to the store to cancel it. His response was. We shouldn't have done that last time. It's in our policy not to do that. So at this point I've just about had it and again was trying to explain how upsetting it was to find all of this out and he in turn gets more upset that I'm upset. The starts arguing with me. On the record as much as my tone of voice was louder. I never used profanity and had he listened I have been trying to explain all the things I was upset over. He then again starts talking to someone else in the background who I later find out is the manager. Telling him how all I'm doing is yelling and how he doesn't understand why I'm so upset. I finally told him. "I can hear you you know! At least put me on hold or why don't you let me speak to whoever you are speaking to" So now I am speaking with the manager. The manager told me I can go to the store and cancel the account and they will give me a refund. He also seemed to not know how to handle an upset customer nor did he apologize for the reasons why I was upset. But at least he was able to tell me that when I come in I can have my unlimited membership cancelled and they can also refund me at the store. Honestly. I will never go back to any splash car wash because of this incident. I basically got the run around because the assistant manager and manager and who ever helped me last time and who ever opened up my account didn't know their own policies nor how to handle a customer dispute. Beware!!! When they tell you you can cancel anytime. It's not as easy as you think. Oh and about the overcharged. They told me when I had a billing issue that they took care of it and that the charges should be coming out of the new card that I put on file. But they had BOTH my cards on file so instead of having two accounts together at a discounted rate it looked like I had two separate accounts at full rate. read more

Staff is respectful, as far as washing car's they do not do the greatest job. 4/29/17 at 8am I had an appointment with the Splash Car Wash to do a 5 star detail on my 2013 Lexus IS350 (black). I was taken care of immediately, paid $180 & was given a ride back to my home. About 1-1:30pm I received a phone call from the car wash stating my car was finished & ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the car wash I noticed my car was the very first car at the begining of the drive way with the key on the wiper, this is not a smart idea because anyone walking along can just come over & drive away with my vehicle! Upon further vehicle inspection I noticed several things! They never cleaned the rims, windows have been left open parked next to the bushes so now there is bush debris inside my car, trunk lid license plate area was not clean, water spots on the car, there are marks on the driver side window moldings that were not there prior, exhaust tips very dirty. They forgot to put on the tire shine & did so mid inspection of the vehicle. Other than doing a bad job at a detailing no one even batted an eye at me when I then proceeded to drive my vehicle off the car wash property. I would think they would have kept they key at the front desk. I called the car wash when I got home & expressed my dissatisfaction. They did say I could bring the car back to get it done over again. I would but I don't have the time to (I would have to reschedule) I also felt if you did a terrible job (seems like a rush job) the first time why would I want to trust you again a second time. I paid $180 for a 5 star detail that came out bad. I know detailers in Queens by city field who would have taken the job & made my car shine. I only chose them because they are close to home. Decent car wash, they have their days when they forget to clean your wheels but still armorall your tires. Also, I have rubber mats on top of the original carpet mats. The staff will vacuum both and/or pull the rubber mats out to clean them when I ask them too. Sometimes they just toss the carpeted mats back in crooked and place the rubber mat back on top. It'd be nice if they'd take an extra 2 seconds to put the mats back properly. I have the "unlimited" works plan, cleaned the car in morning, drove out of state, vehicle got dirty. Went to the same Splash, and I was told I can only rinse my car off once a day! I explained that I have the unlimited plan, they said that it's only allowed once a day. They waived the fee for the wash but made it seem as if they were doing me a favor. The website clearly says UNLIMITED. I also have the hopper pass, so each time I visited a different location. I asked about this and was told, I could wash my vehicle 5 times in a row or a day if I chose. I find it very interesting that I was told, "only once a day". I recently purchased a 5 star detail. UPDATE: I returned and was offered a detail by the manager. It was done within an hour and the job was well executed like the past details. My seats were fixed and my Jeep felt super clean again. Thank you to splash for coming through for a long time customer. Even though I left the immediate area I'd go back when in town for sure. ~~~~~~~~~~~' I just paid $134 for an external wash and full interrior shampoo of carpets and seats. They had one woman, who didn't speak any English, doing the job. I have a huge suv. For over an hour I'm not exactly sure what she did or what I paid for!? I went back because they also forgot to put my stuff back in my trunk. But their manager didn't seem to care that there were stains still in my car and when done right they usually cover wet seats from shampooing. The guy told me the seats weren't wet because it's a different drying agent. I don't have idiot across my head. She didn't shampoo them!! I watched the whole 40 min and she never did front seats. They did a subpar job and I feel completely ripped off. I've had an oil change and full detailing done there before and paid this much. I go once a month for shampoo. However the job is always semi done either leading spots, semi dried , not cleaning the grill and I usually give benefit of the doubt because they are so busy but today I simply had enough when I was given a reply on a not busy day that wad a lie. The oil was $54.99 in the ads, but I was charged $58 plus a extra $10 for a "special" filter when I asked about the charges they said I chose a special kind of oil." when I didn't choose anything! I paid for a "works" and "super interior" I waited about 1 hour before I got my car. When I walked around it was still clearly very dirty. I asked the person giving me the car if they noticed. She said "your car was dirty" I quickly told her well I did pay you guys $80 to wash it didn't I? I'm not trying to get anything for free. I just want my car washed. They ran my car through the car was again. When I came to receive it. Surprise, still dirty. I didn't feel like arguing so I left knowing I would never do business with this place again. I signed up for unlimited washes per month. First they told me that I could ask to have the Matt's waged as part of this unlimited service. The second time I asked they told me that they had changed the policy and no longer wash Matt's. After each wash , neither the front of the car, rear of the car or the lower 1 foot of side rails of the car were ever washed. When I pointed this out, each time I was asked "do you want it washed again" 8 repeatedly told them they need to train the people washing to actually bend down and wash the lower part of the car. Instead each time someone outside with a dry rag would rub off the dirt and road Gwim and scratch the paint. I tried to point this out the last time to someone at the register - however no one was at the register for over ten minutes. Finally I went all the way in the back and asked an employee to cancel my unlimited service policy and refund me the money for the terrible overpriced wash. Took my car to this location yesterday, Paid $32 plus tax and tip. Car came out with the driver's side back panel still dirty. Windows were not clean- I tried telling one of the attendants so she came back, swiped one of the back interior windows and walked away without a word- like I was bothering her. No one even came over as I looked over the car to make sure everything was okay. Interior was not cleaned well either. Terrible customer service except for the one guy who was wiping my wheels down, He spoke broken English but worked so hard to make sure they were clean. I felt sorry for him as he appeared to be the only one who cared about his job. This is far too much money to pay for a car wash that does half a job with employees that are rude. I went to this car wash for an oil change (because they happen to offer it at this location and not one closer to home) about two weeks ago and the cashier took one look at me (a female) and tried to get me to buy a bunch of premium oil and tried to hook me into getting service to a bunch of things that don't even exist in regular cars. Not only did they try to trick me into spending more money, they wouldn't take a valid coupon for a car wash and did not check my cars fluids (which I paid for). I was the only car in the car wash- both when I first got there and when I was leaving. The job seemed rushed. When I got back in my car, there was dirt/dust pushed into the back of my seat, as well as on the passenger seats in the back. I left it alone because I didn't want to be overly picky. When I got to my next destination I then noticed that they failed to get the dry bird poop on my side mirror and window(it was one of the reasons I went to get a car wash) and the rims still had dirt on them. I wiped my finger along the edge of the door and my finger tip came out grey. I have been coming here for years and they usually do a pretty good job. I've noticed small missed details here and there, but nothing to stress about. This time I came in with a pretty dirty car, I had dried up mud kicked up on the hood and in the wheel wells so this go around I got "The Works" for $31.99 and paid to have each mat cleaned as well. I expected my car to come out looking new again. Unfortunately my car still has mud all over the front and well as underneath the bottom. The inside of my car was still pretty dirty as well, I had to wipe down the dashboard to get everything clean. Sadly I could do a better job myself. I would not recommend using Splash to clean your car. Lure better off going to Fred's down the street for $10! read more

Took my 2 year old car (30,000) miles in for the 19.99 oil change. 3 guys descending on me like an Indy pit crew. What great service, I thought. That was until they started talking. 1st guy -"I work for Ace Windshield. I'm just going to inspect your windshield for...". No thanks I said my windshield is fine. He ignored me and proceeded to draw two circles on my windshield. I have pretty good eyes and could just barely see the tiny white spots he circled. I ran my finger over them and could feel absolutely nothing. At this point he was delivering an extremely high speed and barely intelligible pitch about the good chance my "chipped" windshield would explode on the highway. After my eighth "no thanks" he stopped. The 2nd guy calls me over to look at the dipstick. To me the oil looked exactly the same as it always does after 5000 miles same color and viscosity. 2nd guy says, "that's sludge - we need to flush the system". I told him its not sludge, its 5000 mile old oil, just give me the 19.99 oil change. 3rd guy says, what kind of oil do you want, we recommend ... I cut him off. 19.99 oil that's what kind, 3rd guy says let me look in the computer to see if there is anything else we should be doing. Then he goes on, "The manufacturer recommends, Front Differential service, Rear Differential service, Fuel Injection Service, A Power Steering Flush, and Transmission service." I said my owners manual doesn't call for any of that. He said his computer says that it does. I pulled out the manual, flipped right to the maintenance schedule and showed him that none of what he just told me was recommended by the manufacturer actually was. Ironically, the manual did call for a brake fluid change which 3rd guy never mentioned. So in summary they tried to turn my 19.99 oil change into a multi hundred dollar fluid changing and windshield "repairing" festival, with the only fluid not being changed was the one that was supposed to be. I'm sure they violated some laws here. Obviously they know enforcement is a low probability, but it makes me sad that a business can lie and try to steal from you with such impunity. By the way, I tried to call the owner. He didn't return my call. And I checked with the Better Business Bureau and they have an F rating. read more

I tried the Wilton location since I still had a few weeks before the cancellation took affect. Wilton was flawless with cleaining the car. The problem is the Norwalk location so I suggest people use other locations since the Norwalk one is cheating you out of what you are paying for. read more

When they could have told us to fuck off and go to a garage, and frankly my father and I would have done what they said because neither of us know shit about cars, they brought new eyes on the car and fixed the problem. I paid a monthly $50 service for car wash... they never cleaned the interior. When I asked the desk permission shrugged.

I got my car serviced August 2020. While I was there a female employee offered to me a free car wash the next month - nothing else. I was never told that I was signing up for a membership or anything additional. I wasn't told I would be charged $63.80 a month for a membership which I never asked for. I never received emails or terms of this so called membership. It wasn't explained to me that the free car wash was only if you signed up for a recurring monthly membership. Since August 2020, I have been charged $382.80 total and haven't gotten my car washed there since then. This is ridiculous. I can't get through to anyone on the phone either. I would like a refund for this entire amount. I am going to also be disputing through my bank. Beware the fine print when you go there for a "free car wash". It's a bait and switch scam. read more

Meh... came to get all the salt washed off of my truck. I paid extra for the wheel express, which includes under carriage washing and wheels. I didn't realize they didn't have any sort of mechanism to spray the undercarriage of the vehicle to begin with and they did not armorall the tires. I suppose they were too busy and I should have just paid for a basic wash. Also note this is the Norwalk location. I usually visit the Stamford location who does a much better job. Won't be visiting Norwalk again and won't pay for any extra's anymore. All of the 'extras' are bogus. But some armorall for your tires and do it yourself after a wash instead of getting ripped off. UPDATE - On December 31, 2017 I reached out to Mark Curtis as he suggested below to get another wash. It is now January 14th, 2018 and I have yet to hear back from Mark. Looks like they respond to unfavorable reviews with a canned paragraph to make it look like they care. They probably have a PR person that tells them to do it. Been a customer for years. I appreciate a brushless/ non machine alternative for a car wash service. With that said, these are men and women that perform this service day in and day out that (I'll speak for myself) I should be doing on my own. The only reason that I would not give them or any other business a five star, is because there is always room for improvement. Some of these comments seem valid and management has already addressed them or folks have decided to go elsewhere, where I will no doubt guarantee that at any given point there will be issues because at the end of the day, we; excuse me - I should be doing this service myself! A friend of mine just got his oil changed there maybe 30 minutes ago. He got out of the car while they did the procedure, and when he got back in, $20 that he'd left in the console was missing. This location and the Stamford locations are the best! They play great detail in the wash and the dry and clean of the inside. The only think I wish they were more consistent with is the air tools. They are three for a reason. Get the water out of my side window, truck, and door handles. All of that great work goes to waste when I drive off with water spots. Had to lower from 5 to 4 stars. This used to be a good place to wash your car. So I recently got the interior detail the express one which runs about $54. I had a coupon for $15 dollars off. So I paid around $40. They really rush this detail. My windows were completely dirty. It looks like they used a dirty towel to clean. My stereo had streaks. Honestly if I knew it was going to be like this I would of done it myself. Next time I'll just go with a basic wash no point in paying extra money for a service that is poorly done.
