I went to this location this past weekend to change the oil of my car, it was fairly busy but i was greeted quickly and had little to no wait time which was great! Alejandra explained to me exactly what my car needed & broke everything down for me, thank god! Since i am so clueless when it comes to cars..i was very happy with the service.. the only reason i would not give 5 stars is because i also got a car wash & it seems that the staff is a little bit unorganized, there was only one guy vacuuming although it was fairly busy.. & staff seemed very rushed when drying my car, if you are looking for quick & easy car maintenance this is your place ! read more

Really disappointed in my wash. They didn't even move the kids booster seats (which are not installed into the car - they sit on top of the seat like the movie booster seats) to vacuum and the Stamford location at least rinses my rubber mats with The Works package (smh) not worth the $30+ read more

I have been to this splash location over and over again and am disappointed every time! When you pay over $30 for a wash and clean, the car should be clean. This time when my car came out it was literally 2 minutes and they called me?? Your tires should be cleaned inside the wheel well with a simple clothe. They failed to do it so I kindly asked, "would you mind cleaning my tires, the metal part with a clothe" I leaned down and showed all the dirt with my fingers. They proceeded to do it or supposedly and I got in my car. When I got home, the wheels were a disaster. I have no idea what they were actually doing when leaning down over the wheels, but they were horrible. DO NOT WASTE you TIME or MONEY!!! read more

We went on a slow day before a big storm for a quick oil change and exterior wash for my daughter's trusty (somewhat rusty) old Subaru. I quickly emptied, vacuumed, and wiped the interior out last night and was only expecting an exterior wash, but they cleaned the heck out of that car - inside, outside, upside, downside. read more

The car comes out only slightly cleaner than when it goes in. When you point out the dirt left behind, they'll gladly smear it around with the rags and scratch your finish even more. Stay away! read more

I pulled into Splash, and upon ordering my service showed the gentleman a coupon on my phone- I asked if the coupon was valid and could I use it on the full service wash and cleaning? He assured me, Yes, just show it inside. Upon paying, I was told, "no, it had expired. I couldn't see an expiration date on the email. I ordered a $55 service, and the manager said "no, sorry, the attendant was wrong". We will pull your car out of line if it don't want it washed. Terrible customer service! You email out coupons like candy but you don't honor them. And you don't stand behind what your employees tell customers. You have lost my business forever. Was it worth the $8 you didn't honor? And now I'm on Yelp and there is a $5 coupon he could have told me to show. I would have been pleased with their effort in providing something off. Russell Speeder here I come. BTW - Russell speeder does a better interior clean anyway. read more

Worked up here two years ago and went regularly and though they did a great job. Up here again working and took my car twice. The first time I didn't think they did a great job but they did an ok job. My loyalty won out and I went back a second time. This time the job they did was horrible. The windows weren't even wiped down - my dogs nose prints remain to this day exactly where they were when I drove in. Seriously disappointed in them. read more

After my father's passing, I brought his jeep to splash for a full detailing. After 3 hours I went back and was told it was done. I liked it over and pointed out several things that were missed. They manager said to come back in an hour. When I returned, I still found sand and dirt in all the weather stripping, and sand under the floor mats on the supposedly shampoo treated carpets. Their answer " do you expect every little thing to be cleaned?" Actually yes, hence the term detailing. When they refused to do any more cleaning I asked for a discount and said I would not pay over $200 for they level of service they provided me. Instead of trying to keep a customer, they decided it better to call the police and say I refused to pay. I obviously won't be returning. read more

Went in on Sunday for oil change and car wash. Car wash was ok although I had to point out several spots to be cleaned after it was done. They gave me a print out from oil change saying everything was ok, including the battery. Wake up two days later to a dead battery. When I called and asked what did they check other than that there was actually a battery in the car the person said "make sure it has no white stuff on it". Well they never even cleaned that so apparently they just ok everything plus whoever I talked to was not helpful at all. Definitely not a place I would go back to. read more

The car wash was pretty good. However, they were trying to upsell on the oil change so much. I had a Groupon, but had to pay the oil disposal fee (read the fine print when you get a Groupon but that's ANOTHER story!) I could've easily spent considerable amts of $$ on what they said I needed for my car. My car is older with well over 100,000 miles. You DO NOT need a special oil for an older car....it's a huge marketing trick to think you need it. I get this upcharge at every place I go for an oil change. It's really aggravating. Then they make you feel like you're stupid for not accepting all their deals. read more

I got the mega wash and wax for $55. My jeep was so covered with pollen stringy tree gunk and I was desperate to get it cleaned off. I have 33" tires which wouldn't fit into the track so they had to wash it off to the side for an extra fee, which they would "waive" if I paid for the top of the line service. I got suckered in and my jeep came out SPOTLESS. Shiny and new. I see a lot of blah reviews and all I can think is that they concentrate their efforts on the premium services. I have to say I've never paid more or been happier with the result of a car wash. For just a quick wash I don't know that I would go out of my way to come here but for a major cleaning they did an amazing job. read more

I've been a long time fan of Splash car washes. The location in Norwalk is huge, so they can service a lot of cars at once. They've always done a great job with the wash, and most recently I had them change the oil as well. I can't say whether the oil is any better or worse than other places, but it was quick and pretty cheap. I think it was $50 for an oil change and a wash - Valvoline charges me almost $70 for just the oil - no wash. I've also had my car detailed at the Darien location. It's expensive, but makes the car look brand new. read more

Surprised by all the negative reviews. I had no expectations when walking in and was quite happy by my experience. I was on my way to Russell Speeder's bc that's the only place I had ever tried in Norwalk, but I passed the Splash and thought I'd try it out. And I was so pleased that I did!! They did a WAY better job on the inside cleaning than I ever get at Russell Speeder's - which I'm not surprised about since they are cleaning the car indoors vs those poor folks who have to vacuum the car out in the freezing cold at Russell Speeder's. It was super quick - no more than 15 min. And I loved that I could just hand the keys over when getting there - I HATE driving through the wash bc I can never get my car to line up right on the belt. Thought the waiting area was quite comfy (was amused by all the random knick knacks that they sell) and if I could, would give 5 stars to a super clean bathroom (major perk in my eyes since that's not always a given at places like these)! I guess the person at the counter could have been friendlier/less apathetic toward me and the guy who checked me in did try to upsell me...but it didn't really bother me that much/just seemed like par for the course. read more

So impressed with the polite and professional attention and customer services here! I live down along the Branford shoreline and always used to go to Branford Car Wash for oil changes. But their new management is a disgrace. On my way home from work, I stopped to try out Splash and was so glad I did. You drive right in for your oil change and they take it all from there! My car came out to me sparklingly clean, vacuumed and wiped down completely inside! The store inside is beautifully clean and sanitary and just adorable with many cute little items available to browse and peruse. Coffee will again be available once COVID is no longer a threat. Lovely little Adirondack chairs placed appropriately distanced outside for customers to wait for their vehicles. Wi-Fi available as well. 12/10 will never settle for sub par service again. Splash is fantastic! 4 stars only because Full Synthetic is on the high side of pricey even for Fairfield County. read more

40 minutes for their basic car wash with only 5 people ahead of me. Don't waste your time, go to Fred's car wash for half the price.

Spent 60 dollars to get seats cleaned and there was still dog hair in the back. They refused to get the hair out even after a 10 dollar tip.

I went in for an full service hand wash and an express interior detailing. The exterior was was okay, but the "detailing" was anything but. They basically vacuumed the carpet, cleaned the windows and briskly wiped the dash. Still dirt and residue on the console, dust on the armrest and sand and mud on the door jams. A complete waste of $32. And when I tried to ask someone about it, they barely spoke English. Forget Splash! read more

The service was fast and a good job was done. If you're in a rush this is a good place to go, but be aware. They scam you with the prices. I went for an oil change and was told that my car needs some sort of special oil, so I said okay. The oil was $54.99. I was charged $58, and then $80. I was told that I was charged because I "chose the oil" when I didn't chose anything! A great place but very shady practices. read more

This is the WORST place to get an oil change. They forgot to put the oil cap back on my daughter's car, including the water cap, and her engine seized on I-95 in Stamford. Their insurance guys are refusing negligence and we are dealing with them as I type. If they don't replace the engine I'm suing them. They are horrible and I will never go there again. My daughter could've been hurt or WORSE!!! I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

I had the five star service today at norwalk location, no doubt the best detail on my Nissan Armada which is really a truck. Thomas the manager was superb in every detail of the process, I had left vehicle for half a day they didn't miss anything . I had inside of car detailed. Seats soaking wet when I got back they failed to remove stains. But they did great job on mats dash board and console. Oh by the way if you have anything of importance like papers please make sure you don't leave in car they discard personal items. I had envelope with important information about pending lawsuit in pocket of passenger I get in car realizing it wasn't there thinking they put in my bags they took out while cleaning. They were closing and rush to go home I didn't think to ask. I called left message as they were gone no return call. I called and left 3 messages before somebody from corporate finally returned my call. I talk to manager he said they didn't see it check your car they may have moved it. Umm contradicting himself. When I called later he said the cameras didn't pick them up removing envelope. I asked if camera seen the envelope in pocket he said no cameras in the car. They see what they want to see. Cancelling after a month. The haggling the greeter does makes me feel like I got ripped off - I thought prices are prices, and he is very hard to understand. Also, everything is very inconsistent, even down to those Golden Tickets, sometimes they give them sometimes they don't. Sometimes they show you when you scratch them off sometimes they dont. I supposedly "won" something that they tried to charge me for at the end. Sometimes they do the "finishing touch" sometimes they don't. Nobody explains anything. Last time there a group of kids were horsing around loudly and broke a big display, nobody said anything to them, not even their parent or a staff member, people acted like it was normal. Total chaos and nothing make sense which is inappropriate for a place with such high prices. read more

I dont know what these people below are talking about but I love this place. My X5 comes out looking brand new every time. The thing I love most is my chrome rims are spotless with every wash which never happens at any car wash I have ever been to. I always have to make the other places reclean my rims cuz they are not shining or still dirty! Not Splash they get it right all the time without me having to say a word.
