We had my daughter's birthday at the water park and it went great. The staff set us up with a cabana and the kids played all day in the lazy river and on the slides. This place has a much more chill vibe than OWA or Big Kahuna's, so if you're expecting that level then you might be disappointed. However it is far less crowded and you don't spend hardly any time in lines. All the water slides were working and it felt like the kids went down them each a hundred times. Pro tip on the lazy river: get you a double tube and stretch out and take a nap. They've got some shade in several stretches and it's normally able to handle the traffic so you're not running in to anyone and able to relax. The little restaurant they have was giving away unlimited free drinks which was a nice, and there was a nice older gentleman working the grill. When I ordered a cheeseburger he said "it'll be ready in 20 minutes boss!" and then I went down a couple slides with my son and came back and got it right off the grill. I'm giving it 4 stars because it may not be the upscale spot but we consider it still solid and worth a visit. So yeah if you want a chill, relaxed day, and don't need all the bells and whistles to have a good time! read more

Visiting from out of town and went with friends. I'll say I'm glad they had a season pass with guest passes and we didnt have to pay cause this place was seriously run down. Maybe though that is the trend with waterparks cause its the same here in AZ. The girl at the register must be new cause she had no clue what was going on. First time at Splash City and so disappointed with how run down it is. The water in the lazy river was really cloudy/dirty along with the big slide pools. Everything looks really worn and old. A lot of the kiddie pools had things that look like they should work but don't. The bathrooms smell like urine and don't look like they get cleaned and one dispenser had soap. There was trash around the property and in the landscaping/ weeds. The weeds are growing out of control throughout the property. The lifeguards pay attention and are really friendly. My little one had a great time but this place really needs some fixing up. read more

It's an AFFORDABLE option to the larger amusement parks. Always felt safe and welcomed. Avoided the large crowds at other parks. I would give it an 8 out of 10. Hopefully we will be back with our season passes this year. read more

This place is a waste of money. All the slides are shut down. Water is green or brown depending on which area you go to. The lazy river and the kiddie pools are the only things open and everything's filthy. We tried to go to the other side of the park but only like 2 of the rides were open on that side. Several of the go carts were down and before we could even get started they told us we couldn't go because it just started sprinkling. Visiting my parents for my son's birthday and decided to come here for some fun... DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ Most of the arcade games don't work and or eat the $ on your card. You can definitely tell the maintenance is terrible. Laser tag is okay. Go karts are okay. Mini golf is okay. Do not recommend coming here if you're looking for an arcade experience. I attended a birthday party for a child at this location this past weekend. The parents paid an exorbitant (I mean REALLY exorbitant!) amount of money for the event. In exchange, they received a couple of picnic tables in the blazing sun - No Shade at all. There wasn't even a trash can nearby. No water, no utensils, no paper products ...nothing! Evidently the only thing that the huge bill was for was for wristbands that allowed the attendees in to play in poorly maintained water attractions. I suspect the Health Department will be paying them a visit really soon. read more

This place is disgusting. We arrived when they opened at 10am on a Saturday morning and the water in the lazy river was so dirty. There was garbage and debris everywhere. Shouldn't the water be clean first thing in the morning? The filter was also not working. Makes me wonder if they ever clean the water. read more

"Haunted City is the largest and scariest experience within three counties" .. after reading all about their "Haunted Nights" online I had high expectations. I called the park in advance to try to gather more details before driving 30 mins because I didn't want to waste my time and money if it wasn't going to be worth it. However, they didn't answer or return my call after leaving a voicemail. As soon as we get there and purchase our tickets, they told us the Haunted Train Ride was down (what I was looking forward to). So I asked why we were paying full price for our tickets if we couldn't experience that. She said we would be able to play mini golf and ride go carts instead (apparently that typically wasn't included with the Haunted Nights). They advertised "Gallows Restaurant" with a new halloween menu so we decided to eat there expecting an actual restaurant to only find it was a concession stand. The food was okay but definitely not worth the price. After eating, we started to walk around looking for the other 3 attractions they had advertised online. (Carnival of Darkness, Haunted Theater, and Trail of Darkness) *Since going last week the advertised Haunted Theater has been removed from the website*. Anyways, we walk around the park and can't find a single sign identifying any haunted attractions anywhere. We find an employee and they point us to the mini golf course which was being used as the Trail of Darkness. (With that being said, we obviously couldn't even play mini golf). It was very dark, we were unsure of which way to walk and had to be careful as there were many places we could've tripped. We only encountered 3 people dressed up trying to scare us during this short walk. We had to find another employee to show us where the Carnival of Darkness was. It was in their laser tag area and when we walked through the lights were on and there wasn't anyone trying to scare us. (I don't know if they were taking a break or what as there wasn't any signs). They had 4 rides that we could ride but you had to walk around and look for an employee to operate them. On the bright side ~ there wasn't any lines for anything and the go karts were fun. We rode them twice to try and get our money's worth. As far as the "Haunted Nights" goes ~ disappointed is an understatement. read more

When a business rebrands themselves with a new name they need to rebrand themselves with a new fresh positive attitude along with efficient and pleasant employees as well as the management This company does not have it together. The way they speak to customers as well as keeping games and attractions functioning is well below par. Avoid this theme park at all costs unless you like being miserable. Half of their arcade games were non functioning and there were only 2 employees outside responsible for allowing patrons to utilize them. Upon calling and requesting a refund for a miserable experience the management was rude and very unaccommodatincluding insulting the customer's opinions. If I could give 0 stars, I would! Splash City Adventures is ridiculous. It's literally a law suit waiting to happen. I took my family of 4 for a day of water fun, and left so let down by the presentation of the park and staff. The park has depreciated drastically since last year, but the entry fee remains the same.The water slides look horrible, leaking in several spots. Most of the amenities are broken. The lazy river is disgusting. When I advised staff about a bloody bandage floating in the water I was literally told that they didn't care. The life guards were not reinforcing any safety rules. I saw a little girl dipping a apple in the lazy river in between bites. Meanwhile a lifeguard looking right at her didn't redirect her at all. I observed a very young child go down a large water slide that reads " must be at least 5 years old to ride" and then what appeared to be his father went down the same slide before the little one had time to move from the bottom. The child was thrown from the bottom of the slide. Meanwhile the lifeguard remained inattentive without the slightest of redirection, or concern for the child's wellbeing. It was complete chaos in every aspect of the park. My family and I will never return. And I hope this review reaches any one considering subjecting themselves or their families to this dangerous place. read more
