I take my cars for wash there regularly, (own 3 cars). I noticed last week that when I went in for a car wash and my floor weren't vacuumed. So I let it go as I was a bit tight on my schedule. I went in this morning got a platinum car wash and noticed that the floor weren't vacuumed again. Went to the back seat to fix my mat, also noticed my back windows and my back seat weren't wiped or cleaned. As I complained to the manager on duty he said I needed "deep detail" on my car wash, so I took out "armor all" spray from my dash and showed him that I didn't need it. He refused to listen to me. So I asked them to read what is listed on "platinum card board" to follow the guidelines. He said that next time I come in he will give me a "discount" on the wash. Wait a minute, I just paid for a wash, why should I have to pay for unfinished job. As I told the owner and he told the manger to drive in my car from another door and the manager refused to listen to the owner and walks away. Poor management skills! I just had my car washed here and I am disappointed with the results. I have been coming to Splash since fall of 2015 when my car was brand new. Now that my car isn't so new and it actually takes more effort to get it looking new again, splash is missing the mark. I just spent about ten minutes cleaning my car after I just paid them to clean it! It was early bird so I even got the platinum was and it still came out with splatter marks on the door and above the wheel. These are the very marks I wanted to wash off! I am pretty frustrated and probably won't be coming back and spending anymore of my hard earned money here. With wash and tip, I spent almost $20 so I shouldn't have to be cleaning it ten minutes after I leave. read more

Hand wash with fresh (not recycled) water! These guys are busy bees, super quick and detailed. They washed spilled juice from my back seat leather couches, took out rubber mats and hand washed and dried. The owner walks around and touches up anything that needs more attention. The cool part that I haven't seen in other car washes, is they have an air hose to dry up your rear view mirror, gas cap, truck closure, so that it doesn't leak and leave streaks as soon as you move the car, great idea. I live about 8 miles away, but still drive here for the great detail and affordability! read more

Just paid $17.95 to have my NEW car with 2200 miles on it half washed, covered in an oily sheen over the whole body and windows, and scratched up. I've had better car washes at gas station drive thru racks! Being a brand new car, I take meticulous care. This car was washed last Wednesday, to give you an idea of how dirty it could have possibly been. I had driven home from the Lake Geneva area late last night and hit some bugs. Hence my decision to try to get it cleaned immediately even though it is a holiday. It wasn't sitting outside in the sun having the bugs baked into the paint. I was promptly greeted by am employee, but things went down hill rapidly from there. Each wheel was given about a 5 second wipe with a disgusting looking rag. Needless to say, they are still covered in brake dust and road grime. This is NOT the correct procedure to clean a wheel. I was then absolutely horrified to witness the employees take a flag-tipped plastic bristled brush to vigorously scrub the aforementioned bugs on the front end. Once again using the improper tool for the task. There are now fine scratches all over the front bumper and leading edge of the hood. I did not see what they used on the side mirrors, but the outside covers of both side mirrors look chalky and have absolutely no gloss!!! The paint on both pieces are absolutely ruined. I will be requesting full reimbursement for this damage. I had notified the female employee that there was still a large amount of bug guts on the front end at this point. She then attempted to clean them off with a dry Terry cloth towel and Windex!!!! Once again, this is not the right way to remove bugs from a car and caused even more scratching. Terry cloth towels do not belong anywhere near automotive paint! They also use Terry cloth towels to dry the car! In 2016 there is no excuse for not using microfiber! There is now a new Z shaped scratch on the lower drivers side corner of my hood! It was not there before I went to Splash car was today!!! Windows... I don't know what they used, but there is now an oily sheen on the exterior of all the windows and on the paint as well. At this point, I would guess it is the "Spray Wax" that is included in the "Platinum" wash package I purchased. Also, the windshield and rear window are streaked and not clean on the inside. Speaking of the actual wash, wow, they missed large areas, and then decided that my black car would look much better with sweaty hand prints all over the paint. Literally, every panel has a full sweaty hand print. They literally dirtied my car immediately after washing it. They did not perform the interior services listed under the Platinum wash. All the door panels were never cleaned, they didn't bother to vacuum the rear seat or floor, they didn't clean the center console whatsoever. They slathered on the tire shine, so much so that it is no longer on the tire, but splattered down the sides of my car after only driving it a few blocks. I expect to be remunerated for the damage done to my vehicle. I will be calling tomorrow morning to discuss. read more

My car was so filthy inside I was actually embarrassed to bring it there and was going to clean it out before I went. LOL My 2009 now looks like a brand new vehicle and even smells new! The bagel crumbs are out of the gear shifter and they got all the dog hair out of the back seat. Now that I have this place close to home and it only costs $12.95 I will bring my car in much more often. They did an amazing job! read more

Went because a friend recommended it. Should have gone else where. Areas of my truck simply weren't washed. Bird droppings still on the truck. Water all over inside on the leather seats. Dirty water pooling in the center console. Micro scratches that will have to be buffed out from their towels. Definitely will not be coming back. read more

This was the worst experience ever. The guy argued with me so much the police were almost called. I go here all the time. I have a 2019 Mercedes sprinter. I go early for the discounted pricing. I always pay $12. I have a TON of past receipts to prove it. Not to mention the pricing is listed. So the cashier takes my van and says $25. I told him "the price is $12 it's 9am.". He say, "it's $25, do u want the wash or not?" At this point my van is already covered in suds and he would have given it to me in that condition. After much arguing, he gives me the wash for $12. I should not have to argue with someone like that. Now, the condition my van was in when I got it back was UNBELIEVABLE. It was covered in soap swirls. It was so much worse then when I dropped it off. Then I open my door and my mats are Soaking wet and thrown on my brand new seat covers dripping. Now I am on my way to pay another car wash to do the job they didn't. I am not the type of person to leave reviews, but I have never been treated so disrespectfully or had any service handled so maliciously. And sadly, I'm friends with the owner. I manage the building 2 doors down and go there all the time. Never had a problem. But. The fact that you have a guy there that treats people that way and is able to tell the workers to f*** up someone's vehicle and they obey him, I'm done. They lost a good customer. And if I find scratches in my van after it is properly cleaned, I'm calling the police. Plain and simple, they defaced my van, maliciously. read more

I'm very disappointed in how they cleaned my car, when the sun hit my windshield I saw all the streaks from the dirty towels they used, the truck smelled sweaty, and the don't interior clean as they advertise. It was supper hot 6/27/19 and there was a little air conditioner and a squeaking door ... that every time a customer came in it made this really loud noise. You would be better off leaving your car in the rain and wiping down the interior with a used dishrag. It's like they didn't even try. When I called to let them know, they didn't sound concerned. Please read this whole review if you have previously considered this service: I went in for a full interior/exterior detail and engine cleaning. I brought it in on a Monday morning 9am and was told it would be ready Tuesday 9-10am. On Tuesday I called at 9am and was told there would be a delay until 1 to 2pm. I called at 1pm and was told there would be a delay until 3-4pm "for sure". I arrived at 4pm and waited until 5pm!!! The car was not even ready...they were still working on it inside and out; the floor/seats had visible crumbs everywhere, and there were water splatters and dust on the trunk!! One of the main washing employees was extremely rude and said "Laaaaady" in an obnoxious way when I kept pointing out what they hadn't done..because he had to go and fix it. *******I asked the owner for a refund for this extreme delay/terrible job and he refused! SO rude and unprofessional...he also told me that the job wasn't done well because I was RUSHING his employees by calling 3 times that day! RIDICULOUS!!!! So he's expecting me to not to call and ask about my car A DAY AND A HALF after I brought in the car!?? It was supposed to be ready at 9am!!!! THE WORST WAS ONLY YET TO COME, FOLKS...keep reading: After the service I noticed that the check engine light was on in my car, which was not on before service. Turns out that there was water damage to my gas pedal sensor! This part cost me $184!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALSO, the employees soaked up my car seats and carpet so much that there is mildew and a disgusting moldy smell that I cannot get out a week later!! My car is ruined, and now I also have to get NEW CARPETS for almost $200. I don't even know what to do with the seats, or the overall smell!!!!! I called the office (asking to speak to the owner) to demand a refund for my service and for these parts. For two days, the employees told me he was "at lunch," or "running errands," or that he would be in at a different time- EVERY TIME I CALLED. I told them to give him my number. Usually go there because it's quick and they do a decent job But will not be going back there any more. Went there spent 30 dollars on a car wash just for them to take over 5 dollars in change out of my center counsel. Doesn't matter how much they took but they went in there and deliberately grabbed a roll of quarters out and fished through the change and left only pennies. read more

Had my first car wash at Splash this morning. I got the platinum wash, which was about $13 and a car scent thing for about $6. They did an awesome job! I wasn't expecting them to clean the inside of my car, but they did! Everything was wiped down and vacuumed, and it all was done in a matter of about 10 minutes. I like that getting into and out of the facility is quite easy. I will definitely be returning. read more

I went to splash hand car wash for the first time on Monday because it opened at 7 AM. Are usually go to Norwood Park hand carwash but they didn't open until 8 AM on Monday. As it turned out Splash did an excellent job. They were very thorough cleaning the interior/exterior including the windows and matts. I got the early bird special basic wash for $7.95, they do have a punchcard system but they do that page the card for the early bird pricing. By the way the early bird special is five dollars off any carwash service you select. Again this was my first visit but I'll go back and see if they're consistent. read more

Extremely slow and poor service only 3 people working. Took one hour to do a complete hand car wash which is fine however the outcome was piss poor cleaning. I had to wipe the seats and dashboard to get rid of the fabric dust. Once it was good but no longer I recommend this car wash to anyone read more

Great car wash! Between my house and Splash there are at least two other car washes but no one does a better job than Splash Hand Cat Wash. First of all, the place doesn't skimp on having the proper equipment to do the job. I don't get a smeared windshield after I pull away because the towels aren't used over and over again. Tires and wheels are shinny. The inside of my Tesla is clean including the winter floor mats. The building inside and out is clean and isn't messy; Jay, the owner, has pride in his business and the product that he and his crew provide. I also see the the same crew time after time; they're all hustling and seem to be working hard. This is the number 1 hand car wash. read more

Not sure how this place really works, many times i have taken my car and I always find dirty spots in the vehicle, thats why i stopped taking it when its full price and only take it when its early bird special. I had buff my car not long ago and i had some white marks on the rubber part of the bumper from the wax and for sure would've come out with the soap and water. When i asked the guy to please wash that he said no and just told me to get the white stuff out myself with my finger. Found this disrespectful. I told the lady in charge and when she came to see it another worker had the nerve to say that the marks were from damages and scratches. Clearly they don't know nothing about the car wash business. Ive been loyal to this place but not sure Anymore. The last 2 times ive been here the work has been lacking my main purpose is to get the windows washed and the interior cleaned but the last 2 times i left the windows where smudged like they used a dirty towel to clean them and only partially was the windshield even cleaned if im paying 18 bucks i want it done right...when you go to a carwash there should not still be a haze or swirl marks and smudges from a filthy towel left on the inside of my windows so both times i had to clean the windows myself it kinda defeats the purpose of going to a carwash cause they where worse then when i brought it in after just paying to have it done. Not right!!! and they need to communicate with there workers instead of just taking the money. I paid for armour all inside and the workers had to find the owner cause they didnt believe me and the owner just never told them and because of all of that they rushed doing it to get me out cause there was 3 cars behind me and that wasnt even done right they missed several spots it was all over my steering wheel and floor boards (extremely dangerous) and door handles and dashboard screen its ashame cause i really liked this place there just not consistent and attentive as they used to be what a shame read more
