The food is always amazing, but the service tends to be slow. The chairs by the bar are also poorly designed -- they're uncomfortable, difficult to get in and out of, and often end up being in the way for other patrons. The hooks on the ends make it even harder to move around. I'd still recommend this spot because the food is great, but I'd suggest avoiding the bar seating for a better overall experience read more

What a hidden little gem. The menu is eclectic and creative and changes periodically. The chicken flat bread was a nice smoky flavor and fresh out of the oven. Been planning to come here for over a month. I'd say my experience was a mixed bag. When the hostess learned that I didn't make a reservation, she seemed put off and told me that it would be at least a 45 minute wait and I had to ask to be put on the waiting list. They called me 10 minutes later and said that a table was ready, but when I walked in five minutes later the hostess again seemed put off that we wanted a table. The person who brought our water didn't address us and walked off leaving us wondering if he was our waiter, or someone who was running waters. I felt bad because I ordered the tasting menu, but my friends didn't, and this lead to them not being served until I was given my third course and we had been there an hour. We still had a good time, but I think a warning would have been appreciated that their food would be so much later than mine. It was also quite warm inside to the point that I drank about 4 glasses of ice water to try to stay cool, and one of the lights above our table had gone out so it was a little darker than I would have liked. Other than that, the atmosphere and decorations were very cozy and beautiful. They also had artwork on the walls that you could buy from local artists, which I thought was a wonderful touch. The food itself - amazing! I wish I could remember what all my courses were called, but I do know that they were served fresh, well seasoned, and plated beautifully! I practically rolled out of the restaurant at the end of the meal. My friends got the burger and the pesto mushroom flatbread with similar feedback. They also ordered a Mai tai and a mule and liked those as well. All in all, I will likely be back...just with lower expectations in regards to the service and I will probably dress for warmer weather. read more

Wow, what a hidden gem (literally, drove around the block because it was hard to find in the dark, thanks to Google we found it). My wife wanted a glass of wine and they gave her a couple tastings for her to pick the right wine. Then we decided to split the panzanella salad which was extremely delicious. I had the venison steak which was well prepared and excellently seasoned and my wife had the curry bowl. It's really cute inside and they have a very interesting cocktail list as well. read more

I looked on Yelp for an Italian restaurant. Although Ciao is an Italian word, they don't consider it an Italian restaurant. It was a cute place with great atmosphere! The patio was lovely. We ordered the chef's table special, which is a 5 course meal. We ordered it blind, and it was fantastic! The key lime pie was not quite at the same level of great as the rest of the courses, but it was good too. The drinks were flavorful and delightful. Mary was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed wine, a martini, and a couple of well drinks. They were all excellent. We also enjoyed tomato basil soup, calamari, crab cakes, and a charcuterie board. Nice people, good service, cozy & cool location, and creative and delicious food. Visiting Ciao Baci was a highlight of my work trip to Little Rock. Totally worth the Lyft ride from downtown, this spot is located inside a bungalow home, complete with wrap-around outdoor patio with twinkly lights. Our group really enjoyed the night and it made for a great meal out with colleagues -- complete with table-top s'mores for dessert. They change the menu with the seasons, so I hate to even mention what we had -- but every bite was killer and as a wine drinker, I appreciated the nice wine list. These folks are doing things right and I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area. Try for a reservation if you can; they were rightfully quite busy. read more

Had a sauv blanc and the tabouli, both were fabulous and was exactly what I needed to get me through a couple more hours of driving until I call it a night.
