Wonderful place for a day trip with a. Bunch of kids. Very clean and they didn't make a fuss about our special needs child having food restrictions and us having to bring out own food. Love this place!

This is a great waterpark for the younger set but don't expect a lot of thrills here. What is available for the under 48 inches set: lazy River, lagoon, kids splash pad and water slides. The big pool that houses a couple of water slides is also available for leisure swimming. The obstacle course is cool looking but not for shorties like mine. There's lots of seating and lockers for $5. Food prices are inexpensive although I'm not sure of the quality since we didn't eat. The lifeguards were really overzealous in the kiddie area telling babies to get off the walls-and not nicely. Once the summer camps left, it was pretty empty on a Friday afternoon. They have life jackets but you can bring your own too. My son loved it (he's three) and we will definitely be back!

Really had a fun time with my family at this place It was crazy to see that people came from miles around and from other cities to visit this place

Splashdown was amazing and always is when I visit. The lifeguards are always so nice, respectful, and professional. Sunday seems to be a great time to visit because of the crowd, its not too many people and there are still a bunch of families so get there early. The food is delicious and reasonable. They have nachos, hot dogs, fries, chicken tenders, ice cream and pizza. The food is no more than $6-$14 for separate items and entrees. There arent many vegan or vegetarian options except the garden salad. There are no food and drinks allowed in. I encourage you to try every slide there .

It is so flipping cold out (brrr) , I am hoping writing a review of this place will give me warm thoughts. Power through positive thinking, or something like that. Hubby and I hit this place every summer, with the exception of last summer because I was huuuge and pregnant. Not a cute look in a swimsuit, trust me. Bummer that they don't open until Memorial Day. This waterpark is a ton of fun, and really big so it never feels too crowd. It covers 13 acres of space, and packs lots to do. There are TWO four story water slides (which are hella fun) as well as 2 fast "cannonball" style slides. If you just want to cool off and chill out, hit the "lazy river"- they give you a tube that you can just lie in and go round and round in it.

This was my first time visiting, and I quickly realized how fast things can add up. From the moment we arrived, it felt like it was going to be an overwhelming day. There were a lot of people in the lobby, and when we got downstairs to the waterpark, there was only one person handling check in with a long line waiting. I did like that they give you towels and life jackets, two less things to bring. Pros: * Reasonable entry price ($60 per person for a Sunday compared to similar parks) * 18 month old gets in free * Parking paid upfront (convenient, one less thing to worry about) * They give you towels and life jackets * Dedicated toddler/baby area (great for little ones) * Kid-friendly spaces, my 5 year old had a blast * Overall fun experience for kids Cons: * Very crowded and a bit chaotic, especially on a weekend * Long wait to check in (only one staff member handling it) * Extra costs add up quickly (lockers were over $50 for two large ones) * Locker need is higher in winter with bulky coats *Food is limited and expensive * Space feels small for the number of people * Lazy river is very small Overall: Great for kids and worth trying, but I'd recommend going on a weekday and packing light to avoid some of the hassle.

And I just love how everything was centralized and safe being that they gear things toward young children there really was only one way out and that would have been the front door so it might be a little chaotic but the safety is there. I saw multiple times people vacuuming and cleaning throughout my stay, around the eating area same thing, everybody was kind. This was one of the best days we've had at a great wolf. I would highly recommend this particular location in Perryville maryland. We didn't really have a lot to do outside of it without having to travel a solid half an hour so we spent most of the time at the resort. Can't wait to go back in the summer when the pool is opened outside as well. For food we were able to easily order through the app at Timber which is there quick hamburger chicken spot. We did one pizza and a sit down at Barnwood I would recommend all three of them. My only tip would be bring your own towels that line for towels is absolutely insane and unnecessary. Just bring your own and things will be much easier. We didn't necessarily rush to get to the pool for opening and we were still able to find an area with a little table for three people with no problem. Highly recommend. The magi quest activity! We didn't do this when we were there only one night and I wouldn't recommend that but for the two nights I definitely would specially if you have a child that wakes up early and the attractions don't open till later.

We arrived a little after 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. When we left at 5pm there was no line at all. You can bring in food from restaurants or even receive deliveries from local establishments. There were several birthday parties and everyone seemed to be doing well. The lazy river is the most "pool" you'll get here. It's mainly a splash pad with a lazy river. The deepest water is 3' feet. It was $44 for two teenagers, one toddler and myself. They charge based on height. 43" inches or less and seniors receive a discount. All the staff are kids. It's about an hour drive from DC. I'm sure we will be back at some point because it's not as intimidating as a Six Flags or Kings Dominion. It's easy to watch the little ones here. This is not the spot for teens. They were extremely bored. We came in contact with several regulars. They gave us the scoop about everything. Like when to come, what to wear, where the nearest restrooms are (mens restroom was super nasty btw). Otherwise, it's a pretty laid back place.

Could have saved half the cost by just buying for 2 kids. You definitely don't need more than an hour either. It's really loud, so it's not great for autistic or sensory sensitive kids. My kids don't enjoy water directly in their face, and there's nowhere to go that doesn't have water landing directly in your face. There's nowhere for adults to sit, and it's a small room so there's residual splashing everywhere; wear pool shoes even if you don't go on the play structure and are just supervising the kids. During the 5-minute breaks once per hour, it would be nice if you could use the adjacent pool I but it was occupied with aquatic sports teams. Staff were very friendly, and the overall sports/rec facility looks huge and very clean. Locker rooms were very clean as well. For our family, however, it just wasn't worth the price paid nor was it the type of water park that would work for older kids or autistic kids.

You don't really need a life packet since most rides have water going up to only about 3 feet My favorite ride was the last river. We spent a long time on our tubes in the lazy river. As far as rules go: they don't check bags, I watched many patrons with food and drinks not from the facility (including alcoholic), kids in the adult hot tub BUT the lifeguards did great and honestly it was still a good time, just not 50 dollars a person good. I was told, verbatim, that they were "rolling out the red carpet" for me, my wife, and our three young children to attend a presentation in exchange for a complimentary stay. We scheduled our overnight stay for 06/06/26, with the presentation set for 8:00 AM on 06/07/26. We drove six hours each way specifically for this promotion. Upon arrival, we were informed that amenities we had been promised, including access to the water park, were not included. We were then told that the tours had been overbooked and that our presentation would need to be rescheduled to later the following day--well after our checkout time--which simply would not work for our family. The staff, particularly the managers, were some of the rudest and most unprofessional employees I have ever encountered. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation, we were repeatedly told to call various phone numbers ourselves. No one showed any genuine concern or willingness to help. I was so shocked by the lack of professionalism that I recorded my interaction with Assistant Manager Joanne, who refused to involve another manager and repeatedly instructed me to call different numbers the next day to address the issues. When those numbers were called, no one answered except for one employee who informed us that we had reached the wrong department. The entire experience was a disaster, and we hadn't even made it out of the lobby. Another employee continued asking whether we still wanted to stay. After explaining that we no longer wished to remain given everything that had happened--but that they already had our deposit--she abruptly canceled our reservation and walked away, stating that she was done speaking with us. As a result, we packed up our family and drove another six hours back home. We wasted an entire weekend, spent countless hours traveling with three young children, and were treated with complete indifference and disrespect. I would strongly caution others against booking based on promotional offers from this establishment, as our experience was nothing short of unacceptable.
