Today was my second time here and I love it! The office is clean, the staff is kind and helpful, and Dr. Tsai is pretty great. I really enjoy the teeth cleaning compared to other dentists. The cleaning is gentle and never feels abrasive against my gums. Both times he said there were no cavities which was great. He also answered all of my questions that I had with gums and grinding. Before Dr. Tsai, I went to a different dentist every year and did not enjoy the experience. I found Dr. Tsai through the Blue Anthem portal. He is flexible with scheduling, his office is in a great location with ample parking, and he has great staff. I highly recommend him if you want a perfect experience. read more

So thankful to have found this Dr. Chen after our dentist retired. She is such a warm, kind and competent dentist! I took my son in for fillings after a recent cleaning- he was so nervous about the Novocain shot he cried the night before. I came here to get my dental work and it's always scary to try someone new but I was not disappointed. The whole experience was flawless. First you sign in and you have snacks. Pretty unique for a place like this. As you are waiting in a bright and shiny yet quaint waiting area they get all your files ready. The technology seems state of the art and it's spick and span! (Probably most important when it comes to places like this cuz you don't want to go to a dirty dentist.) The dentists are both great. Recently my dentist of over 10 years stopped taking my insurance plan of Delta Dental, so I was on the hunt for a new dentist. Splendid Smiles is in my neighborhood, so I thought I'd give it some consideration. Upon my visit, the office was very clean, the employees and dentist were wearing masks , and they practiced all Covid suggested practices. The dentist was very friendly, extremely thorough, and cleaned my teeth to perfection. I could not be happier. My 24 year old son also had an appointment for a cleaning on the same day and he too was very pleased. Our visit to the dentist was "Splendid"! My wife had been going to a different dentist/orthodontist for many years and was unhappy with the care and quality she was given. At this point, she had undergone too many extractions, and in the process of aggressive orthodontics work which was causing her constant pain and discomfort. After being traumatized from her previous dental work, we scheduled an appointment at Splendid Smiles to get second opinions from Dr. Tsai and Dr. Chen. Upon our arrival, both doctors were genuinely compassionate, extremely professional, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to sit down, discuss, and to understand my wife's prior experiences, her current concerns, and goals. The doctors used state of the art technology to examine and to explain their opinions. Dr. Chen addressed all of the dental concerns we had and also helped to pinpoint and stabilize the pain. Horrible service. I walked into Splendid dental office with an appointment, to fix a chipped filling that Dr. Peggy Chan had worked on back in May, 2023. She took a look at the tooth did one X-ray to bill my insurance and no work on that tooth was done. Dr. Peggy Chan asked me if my insurance had changed in anyway. Why would it change I have the same insurance Delta Dental PPO for the last 20 years. Dr. Tsai another dentist at this facility who's in charge is a control freak. He has no trust in his patients, at least this is how I felt. He also, asked me to personally call my insurance to see how much coverage was covered. That's not my job , that YOUR job. Or try to stop saving money and get yourself support staff. Moving forward, I was left with my hole missing filling for an entire 2 weeks. I took my services to a more professional place. I work to hard for this. No trust extremely judgmental. Not cool. When I got to the other dentist. I had to pay out of pocket for Dr. Peggy Chan mistake. Again, a chipped feeling which she worked on less than a year ago. My insurance wouldn't cover it. Crooks. These are not insults it's just the truth. Amazing experience! We took our 2 daughters here for an exam and cleaning and it was a very smooth and easy experience for all of us. Our daughters age 4 & 2 were not frightened or nervous at all. I had a painful dental emergency, and Dr. Tsai and Dr. Chen were so accommodating of my schedule and fit me in for a last-minute weekend appointment! I ended up needing my first dental implant, and they made the entire process completely hassle-free and pain-free. My new implant is perfect in fit and appearance. They also performed teeth whitening for me, which improved the color of my teeth by 7 shades. I could not be happier with the result of both my dental implant and teeth whitening! I've been seeing the same dentist for 20 years now and didn't think another office could be better, but I was very wrong! Dr. Chen is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as she checked my teeth with the assistance of her excellent workers, Sue and Roxanne. I ended up requiring oral surgery to have wisdom teeth extracted and she explained what the whole process would look like. She did x-Ray scans and a Panoramic scan of my teeth to show me what the status of my wisdom teeth were. Then she made a referral to an oral surgeon. The whole staff here is friendly, warm, and efficient. I think I've found my new favorite place to go for all my dental needs! read more

Who actually likes going to the dentist, c'mon....not many. I've actually pushed off getting my wisdom tooth extracted for a pretty long time...and I was due for a much needed a deep cleaning. I dread both of them, it really isn't anything to look forward to, but it had to be done. Dr. Chen was so pro. She numbed me in the right places so that when they injected the Novocain it was just a bit of a pinch nothing too painful...and once the numbness filled the majority of my mouth it was time to get to work! The atmosphere at the dental office to me was very soothing, cartoons for the kiddos in the lobby area, and today's hits playing in the back....she even but on a movie as background noise for me. I didn't feel as nervous as I thought I'd be for this to be honest. The staff was great. After the deep cleaning that didn't feel as painful as any other I had ever had came the extraction of my wisdom tooth. Dr. Chen somehow distracted me just enough by telling me what was going on but not exactly telling me when she was pulling the tooth out and next thing you know it was OUT! I was amazed! Even two hours later I was expecting a lot of pain, but all I really felt was some soreness, not like before by another dentist...where my mouth puffed for 3 days and needed antibiotics....WOO WHOO. read more

They were helpful and very direct when I needed an emergency filling asap. I didn't even have to wait long at all-- signed some papers, paid it off and to the back I went. This is one of the few places I've been in which the staff were friendly, to-the-point, and generally informative. A very, very pleasant lot overall and I do recommend. They got the job done far better than the previous dentist, and I have faith this filling will stay nicely in place. ....The only complaint I have is that during the drilling and filling process, the drill knicked another part(unrelated to the filling) of my tooth, and caused a slight indentation on it's surface that is slightly noticeable upon inspection, and I know wasn't present at all hours before. I do plan to address it. I also intend to see how they handle after I call in about it, and see to the next appointment to further solidify my review. read more

I gotta say, my experience at this dental office has been the best in my 37 years. The check in process was smooth, the X-rays were detailed and everything was explained well by Dr. Tsai. I ended up needing some old cavities fixed and 2 new ones filled before they got worse. I appreciated the no pressure approach, honesty and good work. After the cleaning and cavity procedures, Dr. Tsai carefully examined my bite to make sure the cavities were filled perfect and made sure the tooth gaps were reasonably spaced so I can floss without any issues. This is the best dentistry! I happened upon it during their open house and met the staff. Facility is brand new, updated technology and well educated dentists. Dr. Tsai and Dr. Chen are very caring, knowledgeable and friendly. My entire family including my mother goes there. Roxanne and Sue that are the staff are great! When I tell my kids they are going to the dentist, they say "Ok when?" Crazy as it sounds , they enjoy going! Oh they have 3D imaging and a variety of movies to watch while there! CAUTION: There are a lot of FAKE 5 Stars reviews on here. Unethical dental practice. Dishonest dentists!!! WARNING: They act nice and helpful initially to persuade the patient to stay as new patient but are unresponsive when you have issues with their poor dental services and lack customer service. I normally do not write reviews, but this dental office unprofessional practice has compelled me to write to warn others and hopefully help others avoid the trouble dealing with dental office. Do NOT give this dental office any information about your insurance. They will use it to figure out how much they can take advantage of it. They want to look into your insurance to see how much they can bill and max out your dental benefits not necessarily what is best for your oral health. Do NOT sign anything (electronic or paper) until you fully had the chance to read it (they will rush you to sign electronically, concealing the fine print in their electronic entry system they make the patient use at this office). Demand a paper copy of everything before you sign anything so you can see exactly what you are signing. Do NOT proceed with any procedure until they present you with a copy of the itemized price/charges for each procedure (including exactly what they will be billing to your insurance). If any charges appear to be over price, it probably is and you should definitely go get a second opinion at a different dental office. Do NOT let them rush you to take X-rays, if you had X-rays done recently at another dental office request for them to get a copy from that office instead of them putting you through unnecessary radiations and charging you again for X-ray. They do NOT offer this option to the patient because they rather bill your insurance again to make profit from the X-rays. The dentist is dishonest, lies to the patient and does not honor what he said he would do. He told me in person that he would email my digital X-rays copies within 24 hours but he did NOT send the X-rays. According to the dental office they have video and audio of the conversation at the dental office that proves that is what he told the patient. They will make it very difficult to get a copy of the X-ray and afterwards will try to charge a ridiculous fee on top what they already billed to the insurance. Know that you have a legal right to obtain your own X-rays in the format it was taken (digital) and any other dental records. They are not allowed charge more than the cost of duplication, which for digital that can be easily emailed or saved on your own flash-drive should be at no cost. Please look up your rights to obtain your own dental records and don't let them take advantage of you. Do NOT get your teeth clean at this dental office. My inner gum was so swollen and painful after the X-rays and cleaning I was not able to sleep afterwards. This is not normal! I had cleanings done at other dental office and never experienced swollen and painful gum. Teeth did not feel clean afterwards and the dentist scratch the surface of the teeth and left major indentation on a tooth. Oral exam was also completely useless. The dentist did not tell me anything diagnostic or useful that I had not already told him. The dentist is not skilled to do the major work and reluctantly referred me to another dentist where he probably gets paid for the referral. Overall terrible experience and do NOT recommend. read more

As someone who neglected his teeth for years I can say that I feel comfortable recommending this dentistry and I appreciate all the time they have taken to show me how to properly floss, which I wasnt doing right at all. They have two doctors at this office in a very modern, clean, and organized dental office space with high-tech new equipment all throughout the office. The panoramic xray thing was new to me and wow, its awesome. Again credit to their dental assistant Roxy because im usually very uncomfortable with X-Rays. Once on the chair And tackling my problems I fee the doctors here are very patient, skilled, and always in contact with the person in the chair, I mean I didnt feel like a patient here, I felt like family and that is something rare at a dr.s office. I liked being able to get a second opinion from the second doctor (basically the 1st doctor called the 2nd doctor in and they both looked at my x-rays and gave me their separate opinions) thats a plus , I didnt have to go yo another office for a second opinion LOL. Finally, their references (I had to get a tooth removed because it was highly cavitized and broke twice on me) their references where spot-on.
