(pictures were taken after cleaning up her eye) UPDATE: Terissa called and gave us a more detailed explanation of Harleys stay there. she explained that they have turf in the back and something could've gotten in her eye, that could be the reason for her eye being irritated. she offered to cover vet bills and Harleys stay there. she was definitely very apologetic and we really appreciate her customer service. that is how you do business. thank you Terissa!

I love that PetSuites offers Puppy Preschool, where there's structured playtime and structured rest time. This also helps keep him on his potty schedule. He's always so happy when I drop him off in the morning (and this is coming from a puppy with major separation anxiety). I've been really impressed with the staff at this PetSuites. They're all friendly, genuinely seem to care about the animals, and will send me the cutest pictures of my little man at play. With COVID, they offer Curbside pickup and dropoff (or you can go in with a mask on). They have indoor and outdoor play areas (another thing I like about it here). It's a relatively new facility so it's super clean and modern-looking. I have a friend that takes their dog here for normal daycare, boarding, and grooming, and they love it! I would definitely recommend PetSuites!

I have two pitbulls who are usually stereotyped based on their breed, but they accepted them both with open arms and I was so glad to hear they both passed their temperament tests. I'm currently in Mexico and boarded them for a week and the girls have been so nice and accommodating every time I call to check in on them. I've also taken them there a few times for a play day so I can get errands done and they absolutely love it!! So glad I found this place and I will definitely be a regular client going forward!!

Now I cannot rave about our vet Dr Kaala enough. She takes her time, builds our dogs trust, and genuinely cares. From the moment she walks in the room, she is calm and kind, she gets on his level, and she takes her time to let him warm up. She is a wonderful example to her staff and sets a perfect tone. No matter how many times our dog walks away from her, she keeps her cool and encourages him back. She talks us through his care and makes sure all our questions are answered (yes we are those very involved dog parents). Dr Kaala is truly a gem and we are so grateful to have been recommended to go to her. We drive 40 minutes just go to Tiger Tails based of a recommendation from a friend who also drives that far! Dr Kaala is worth it and after two visits now we are clearly not going anywhere else.

Tiger Tails had been my dog's primary vet for at least 4 years. I brought my dog to Tiger Tails…read moreafter an emergency hospital visit the night before due to vomiting and fever. The emergency hospital had given him a fever-reducing shot that was supposed to last 24 hours. When we arrived at Tiger Tails first thing the next morning, we clearly told the staff and doctor about this and that it had only been 12 hours since it was given. The doctor took his temperature, did a quick checkup, and said he was fine -- then sent us home. We had pleaded that it was strange he wasn't eating or drinking and he was vomiting with hints of blood, but she kept insisting that he may have just ate something bad or just elder dog symptoms. Just 13 hours later, my dog passed away. I trusted Tiger Tails to take our concerns seriously and to monitor him properly after everything he had been through, but I feel that they dismissed his condition too easily. I am heartbroken and will never forget how this was handled. Please be cautious and make sure your pet gets the thorough care they deserve.

Sadly this is not the case any longer. There is a palpable difference now that hits you upon entering. Gone are the warm smiles of the staff who often knew your pets name and in their place now exists a cold, almost annoyed reception usually reserved for DMV appointments. The Doctors now also seem very mechanical. We just had the painful experience of losing our second dog but this time around there was no warmth or understanding from the folks here; I received more warmth from patrons in the waiting room. I don't know if this is a new ownership, steward or management issue but the atmosphere shift is very noticeable. We have switched vets. Oh and to boot we have not received a single word or note of condolences from them regarding our loss. They know our pet passed. Apparently they don't care. Never stepping foot in there again.

Lucky for us, we booked Iris. Iris is truly is a Super Hero Groomer‼Despite Gracie being the most dirty she's ever gotten, Iris got her back to her glorious pre swamp condition. She was SO CLEAN it seemed like magic, but I KNOW it took a TREMENDOUS amount of hard work and dedication to get Gracie clean, floofy and cuddle ready again. We are so grateful to Iris, and we cannot wait to live closer to PetSuites Cumming, so we can book Iris more frequently (minus the swamp‼), so Gracie always looks this MAGNIFICENT.

I work as a therapist in the Atlanta area, which means I've developed a pretty solid sense for…read moretruth versus spin -- and this situation did not require much of a BS detector. I've also developed quite a bit of compassion for the human condition. Over time, I've come to believe that true compassion isn't just about extending empathy -- it also means speaking up and holding people accountable when harm is done. So, in light of that, here is my first negative review: We brought our maltipoo, Maximus, to Petsuites in Cumming for daycare since his regular place was closed. When my husband picked him up, he noticed Maximus's ears looked smaller and were wet, so he brushed it off. But once they dried, it was obvious: someone had badly and unevenly cut the hair off both ears. I called Petsuites right away. The managers had already left, but I spoke to two employees -- one of whom had been with Maximus outside -- who claimed that "a piece of matted hair the size of two fingers on his left ear fell off," and insisted "100% no one cut your dog's hair." I explained this didn't make sense (as the before-and-after photos clearly show), but they kept denying it. The next day, the manager, Kayla, called me. She said she reviewed video footage and saw another dog chewing on Maximus's ear, gnawing off some of the hair, supposedly explaining the missing hair. When I asked about the clearly trimmed and uneven appearance on both ears, she offered no explanation but maintained, "I am confident no one cut the hair off his ears." Pet parents deserve transparency. If they had called me from the beginning to report what happened and offered to fix it, that would have shown accountability. But instead, they tried to cover it up with a bad haircut, waited until we discovered the problem, and then denied it. That's extremely concerning. If they can hide something so obvious, it makes me wonder what else might be happening behind closed doors. Prior to posting this, I gave Petsuites Cumming a chance to fully own up to what happened, but that was days ago, and here we are. So, I'm leaving this review to warn others. Pet parents -- unless you want a bad haircut you never asked for (and questionable honesty on top of it), please consider taking your pets elsewhere. Petsuites, Cumming -- do better.
