Huskies can be a lot with their coats and energy, but Krista is AMAZING with him--so gentle, patient, and professional. Absolutly terrible. Our Labradoodle came in and granted he had some matting which Krista charged for but she just chopped and cut the mats out leaving his ears and tail looking terrible. Also he was suppose to be cut and this did not happen. Bill came to $110. It is a shame as Krista use to do an excellent job on Max previously. read more

Took the Pug in on short notice and he came out looking and smelling amazing! Nice and easy registration process only took a couple minutes and Nugz was already in the tub. His coat is shining and nails are nice and trimmed. Nugz even had on a sweet camouflage bandana when I picked him up. For a minute I felt bad about writing this review, but then i thought about the horrible service I have had for years and the final straw not to go back. Note: I called and left a message for the owner to explain why I am upset. I do not expect a call back, but we shall see. Will re-post if I get any sort of apology. My Bernese Mountain Dog has been groomed by this "salon" for about 2 summers now. He is 4 1/2 years old, 130 lbs. He is a big boy, and can be stubborn... this I am aware of. But not once have they said he is too hard to handle, and any other groomers (Bishop did a fantastic job... as did the high school girls at a PetsMart down south) have told me he is beyond easy and well behaved for his burly, bouncy size. Every summer I have him shaved twice, and in the middle of winter I have him just bathed. EVERY time I have had him shaved here... the concept of "even cut" is thrown out the window. Every time, I will say again as I drop him off "Even please, tail, legs, head blended... you know... even.." And every time he is far from that. We joke and call him Popeye when he comes home because they forget to shave his arms.... the bottom of his feet are thicker, and the tail is never blended or even compared to the rest of his body. Its always thick. This time around, his head looks like he has a flat top. You can actually see the comb marks, and shaving, where it just stops completely crooked. I guess I can say this is partially my fault for not just driving an hour to get him cut, and bringing him back again. No more this time. I went to pick him up at 1:45 in the afternoon. I was told he would be done by 2, but figure since I was running errands I would pop in an see if he was done. The girl working was shaving a different dog, there was no sign of Moose, and the guy working was actually taking a nap on the couch. Flustered and defensive when I asked if he was ready they told me to come back at 2:30. I left knowing that my dog was just sitting in the dryer and hadn't even been touched with the shaver yet. At 2:30 on the dot they called to say he was ready. Same story, hack job of a hair cut, completely uneven, and he was more than ready to leave. Just a few days after his horrendous grooming appointment, a hot spot has formed on his neck, where the cut lines are uneven. For those pet owners unaware of what a "hot spot" is... google it. I have worked as a certified vet tech for years, have had Moose for 4 1/2... and never has he gotten a hot spot on his neck. Razor Burn irritation caused it. Probably from them half a**ing the job, and rushing to have him finished. Now its gonna cost me the same, if not more than I payed to have him groomed, to treat this hot spot. Cortisone injection, E-collar for at least a week, and lots of topical cream and spray to treat. And the poor dude will probably have to have that section of his neck shaved completely bald so it doesnt spread or get worse. Thank you Spoiled Rotten Pet Grooming. On another note: Your door was open the entire time Moose was there. Note to employee / owner: One dog breaks lose in your shop and gets outside... its life is in the hands of the cars going 35 mph on the road in front of your shop. read more

We bring our doggies in every time we're in Mammoth. After a week of romping on hiking trails, swimming in the lakes, or getting filthy dirty playing in the snow, they are always in need of a good bathing before we head home, and Spoiled Rotten always comes through. My litmus test for a groomer is if my dogs are okay being left with anyone. If they act nervous or anxious, I'm always a little concerned about how they are being treated. At Spoiled Rotten, my girls walk in with no anxiety or stress and when I pick them up they're happy to see me and squeaky clean. The owners are really nice; they do a great job, are fairly priced, but most importantly, they are nice to my doggies. I highly recommend them! read more

These groomers are awesome. My dog has a thick undercoat and I've had no luck finding a good groomer back in LA. They do a wonderful job cleaning my dog, "furminating" her, and clipping her toenails. I took my 13 month old standard poodle there yesterday. They were sweet and gentle with her. She had a bath and they did a great job. She was done in the time they said she would be done.
