I was super stocked to go on this 2 hour ghost tour. I thought 2 hours seemed like a long time however it goes so quickly because it is so interesting and FUN! The museum part of it I will say would seem more real if they didn't put all the fake Halloween decorations, it kinda through it off and made it less realistic however it was a great tour and I would GLADLY do it again :) I definitely recommend if you are visiting. read more

I was late! It was my first day in Seattle, and had no idea how insane traffic could be in the city. Thankfully, a man met me at the front desk, and led my niece and me to the tour, which was already in progress. I may one of the few who will say this, but I was spooked. It may have been the sleep deprivation that made me feel on edge, but I can't imagine putting myself through that again. Who am I kidding? I'd totally do it again. The tour guide. His name is Graham. This Place is so awesome. The people who own/run it could do so so so much more with it. Don't get me wrong, it's horrifyingly beautiful, but other than Crow and I, there isn't a goth in sight. The place feels like home to us, but just don't always feel welcomed by everyone there. Rai was very entertaining. I loved hearing stories of Seattle's history. And the walking tour showed me places and things I wouldn't think have ghostly pasts. I would love to visit Seattle again and maybe take one of Ross' tours. My daughter loved the dolls on display inside the shop. They were really creepy but she loved them and asked if any of them had ghostly pasts. The death museum really unnerved me. And it being in the cold basement just added to its authenticity. So I went to Seattle during Halloween time because I have always wanted to do halloween things on the mainland. So what to do on halloween night in seattle...take a ghost tour. So I have always been interested in the paranormal even though I'm a bit chickens**t (hahahahahaha). My brother got 3 tickets to the spooked in seattle tour and I was super excited! So it was a cold with a chance of rain kind of halloween night, so the place is down a steep staircase and you go into the place. It houses a museum of death and a whole array of creepy, ghostly objects. It was pretty cool and we had time to walk around and check it out. (*side story* So I had to use the bathroom and they have 2 bathrooms down a short hallway right by their front desk. The nearest bathroom was occupied so I went to the other bathroom around another corner. After I was done and washing my hands and I heard a loud knock and I said "yes?" just to let someone know it was occupied. I opened the door like 10-15 seconds later and was expecting to see someone waiting and no one was there. As I walked back to the front, the other bathroom was completely open and unoccupied. It's like a 10-15 second walk, no way anyone could use a bathroom that fast. That freaked me out before we even left the building.) So to the tour, Jerome was our tour guide, he was pretty hilarious and very entertaining. I learned a lot about Seattle's history, how the city was built. I thought it was interesting how the city of Seattle is built upon the old settlement. The seattle underground. It's a walking tour. You go to pioneer square, the smith tower, the oldest bar in seattle and you get to see a little bit of the seattle underground. Every stop has a really creepy, scary ghost story attached to it. And you learn a bit about the paranormal if you are interested in that. Also, spooked in seattle are paranormal investigators so they go out and check out paranormal activity in various areas. Definitely check out the museum of death and be prepared to sleep with the light on! (hahahahahahaha) Overall, it was a fun,great experience and I definitely recommend doing this tour if you are in seattle. read more

Did the Pioneer Square Haunted Pub Tour and it was definitely worth it! We had an amazing tour guide, Naughty Nelly! She was hilarious and very knowledgeable about Seattle's history/paranormal stories. I enjoyed hearing real EVPs from actually paranormal investigations! The Spooked in Seattle Tour was more than I expected it to be. Our tour guide, Jerome, did a wonderful job of being informative, entertaining and spooky all in one, engaging with the audience while walking around and adding a flare of drama and suspense to the stories, which does not seem like an easy job to do.The underground portions were definitely creepy and very interesting. This tour is similar to the Seattle Underground tour - except that alongside the chance to explore what's beneath the streets of Seattle, and learn some Seattle history, you get ... ghosts. Our tour guide was in full costume, like a woman in mourning from the 1800's, which was a nice touch. The stories are fun and creepy! The prices are reasonable and the group size (at least for us) wasn't huge, which was nice - plenty of opportunity for questions and interaction. I've taken several tours in various cities, so I, of course, had to try one in Seattle. Our guide was Ross, who was passionate on the subject and friendly. He was open to questions, and he seemed very knowledgeable of Seattle history. He pointed out a lot of things that were not related specifically to hauntings, such a good local businesses and other historical information. He did do a fair amount of self promotion, but he seemed competent enough to back it up. This was not as theatrical as in other cities, but that was fine by me. While kitschy costumes and dramatic tellings are fun, the stories themselves should speak. Be warned, there is a lot of walking, much on uneven sidewalks (he will tell you about how the sidewalks sink) and uphill, so if you are in very bad shape, you might want to skip this one. read more

This is was really cool for my fiance and I because we moved here to WA about a year ago and this was our 2nd time in Seattle, and we got to learn some really interesting stuff. But, you get to go into a haunted bar and you also go into the Death Museum, which is part of the original Seattle underground and it's so much fun! We took a tour with Aemon and had a really great time! We were transported across times as we were walking from place to place around Pioneer Square. Aemon's talent for storytelling, acting, and depth of knowledge recreated the times and kept us thoroughly entertained for almost 2 hours. Aemon was very engaging. He is a real storyteller and we could tell that he was enjoying every minute of the tour as did we, while he was sharing the stories and taking us from building to building. If you decide to take this tour, I recommend looking him up. Spooked in Seattle is done tastefully. We could tell that the historical integrity is important to the guide and it is a great way to spend the evening in Seattle and learn about its history and visit the old downtown. read more

AMAZING! My partner and I went on two tours; the ghost tour and the murder tour. Both were spectacular and really well done. I highly recommend this as an activity if in Seattle, Washington because it's informative, historical, interesting and it's a walking tour so you're getting some physical exercise in while having fun. Review for the Pub Tour: our tour guide was Rai. Pretty fun overall. Rai was super enthusiastic and dressed up for the occasion. The pubs we stopped at were nice and quiet and really cool. A free drink is included in the last pub. Our tour guide hung out with us for bit afterwards and she was also pretty cool. Don't expect to be scared...it was not scary at all. "A" for effort and performance, "C" for content. Coming from southern California, we heard about the underground city and wanted wanted to check it out, even though our decision was later in the day. Why not combine a ghost tour where you could see the underground too! Our tour guide was excellent. She was spunky, funny and informative! Without her, this tour would've been 2 stars for sure! Overall, you hit 4-5 stops, literally all within the 1 block radius Pioneer Square. You could stand in one place and throw a baseball hitting all our stops. So you're not seeing much of the city. Stories were cool, but family friendly and not terribly scary. A couple peeks of the underground... Which was okay with me. Now whether it was just my tour, or the Tour in general attracts them... But my group was filled with odd people! People that couldn't help but chime in their own, lame tales, make cheesy jokes, ask ridiculous questions and just over all, made you cringe! Could've done without this experience, but no knock intended towards the guide at all! read more

We had Rei accompany us on the tour and she did a fantastic job. She looked wonderful and really knew her tour. She explained all sorts of things as well as showing us several things that we wouldn't ever think of. As a newbie to Seattle it was super informative and educational. We checked out at least 4-5 spots and each had their own story. I wish we could have gone into the buildings we stopped by other than merchants. The tour was eerie at some points but the rest was entertaining. We got to listen to EVP recordings and see some pictures that cannot be explained. We also stopped by the mutual life building. Something happened in 1985 and it's up to you to check it out. It'll explain a lot about that building if you seen some weird things surrounding it. My only complaint about the tour 2.26.17 is the family with the baby. FOR THE LOVE OF SATAN. Seriously!? Yes. It's a BRILLIANT idea to drag your dumb baby to a ghost tour since hey, fumes, drafty mold, and other things id TOTALLY bring a baby into. Not to mention, the moments of when we went into some uncomfortable spots, your dumb baby was crying, you get a little creeped out dark room crying baby, perfect horror set up....yet another BRILLIANT idea to terrify your baby. Christ. I'm done, but I was under the impression this was a kid and baby free tour. Beware, some dumb family with a dumb baby will tag along. Tour was worth it. Check it out. Ironically while we were on the tour a group of people walked by yelling "don't do it, waste of your time and money" which was pretty right on. We have been on many different tours, in many cities, worldwide and I do not understand how this is supposedly ranked #2 in the USA like their website states, seems unlikely. We purchased on Groupon thankfully we didn't pay full price, half our group left the tour before it was over. You basically stand outside most of the places they talk about and the walking portion was a total of two blocks. Horrible customer service! First time in Seattle, I saw a Groupon for my partner and I- but there were no times listed nor the website was working properly, so I sent them an email. Whoever was on the other side of the computer was extremely rude, sarcastic and short. Told me they couldn't accept my Groupon and was told to go to the website. (Which was not working at the time). Every email he/she would send, they would reply by saying "as I said"... It's very sad that a upcoming company can lose clientele that fast, by lack of professionalism. I will not recommend this place just for that fact. I am a huge advocate for great customer service but sadly some companies just don't care. read more

We've been on several tours around the country because it's something we enjoy doing, but our guide- he said his name was Bob (not sure if that's true)- was just not the best. My boyfriend and I are locals, and we decided tonight was a good night to get out and see a different side of Seattle. Turns out, neither of us had done any of the usual tourist things, like any of the underground tours, so we were so down. We did the underground tour first at 7pm, which didn't feature any of the ongoing hauntings, definitely recommend that tour as well! And then we were actually able to make the 830pm. We had Ross as a tour guide, and also Caree (sp?) as an auditioning tourist. (Which as a side note: She did so great! She looked amazing, had some great things to say, and I found myself really enjoying when she spoke!) Ross did such a great job, too! Really knew his stuff, and captured my attention every time he spoke. He's a professional ghost hunter as well, so that was a treat. He has the coolest stories. (Also, TO ROSS; I found my phone!!! The lil ghoulies didn't get to it at the Merchant Cafe lol) The tour flew by, we were so interested by the history of the city. Everything was so authentic. We haven't stopped talking about it still, and the tour ended over two hours ago! As someone who works downtown in the market, literally dealing with tourists more than the average local, I recommend things to do in our area, and I take it pretty seriously. This tour specifically is one I will always bring up and always boast. Awesome job, guys! read more

I really like these kind of touristy things. I also really believe in ghosts. I know, my credibility is shot now but hear me out, this tour was fun and super informative! Groupon was running a special so I got tickets for 4 for $22! Double date time! Our tour guide was Adrian. He is super knowledgeable, funny and did a great job at keeping our medium sized group together and moving. The tour itself was about 90 minutes, starts and finishes in Pioneer Square and you're able to see underground spots that apparitions have been known to frequent! Take some pictures and maybe you'll see a light orb of some sort! Bring cash to tip, these guys know their stuff and definitely deserve it. read more

Being a born and raised NYer, there is one thing you are brought up to hate: All things touristy. But my bf and I's love of haunted places and legends won when I saw this on Groupon. Honestly I was a bit more optimistic about this tour then he was...but he quickly came around only minutes into the tour. Things I loved about this tour... 1) It doesn't feel touristy! Jerome was our guide and he does a great job of including everyone in whats going on. After talking and walking around for awhile, you kind feel more like you're hanging out with friends or at very least acquaintances. My bf and I were actually the only people on the tour that were out of towners. It was pretty neat that the locals are into this. We all walked around, and it didn't feel like we were being obnoxious or getting in anyone's way. Just a bunch of folks walking around casually learning about Seattle ghost stuff. Jerome mentioned a lot of other cool tours/ events that Spooked on Seattle hosts. My bf and I are looking into moving to Seattle at the moment, and it was cool to know that there are more quirky activities like this around that not just tourists do. 2) You actually do learn stuff and yes I was definitely afraid at some points. I don't want to give away the whole tour, because you need to go experience this for yourself. I will say that at one point I did seriously feel like someone was following me that wasn't there. We were walking around the underground area of their new headquarters, and I instantly felt like someone was just begrudgingly dealing with us being there. I couldn't stop looking in this one area, I almost felt hypnotized. There are a lot of stories you learn on the tour, that really stay with you. Its been two weeks since I've been in Seattle and we still think back to some of the things we learned on that tour. My bf now jokes around saying that someone should tell me that every bathroom is haunted. *glare* 3) Its cheap and don't be cheap like Melissa. Enough said. Well, one more thing I should say is...since this was my first tour ever, in my life, I had no idea that you can tip these guys. The tours are relatively inexpensive and especially if you get the Groupon. The tour is such an experience that if you enjoy it as much as we did, tip em! No pressure, its just something I personally wish I knew. 4) Our tour guide, Jerome! What makes points one and two so awesome is this kid. He really manages to make the experience chill, fun and informative. We got the special "Seahawk Night" tour. There had to be tons of people drunk and yelling in the streets, but not once did Jerome loose his cool or professionalism. If he was annoyed, I didn't see it and thought he improvised with the environment very well. I know if the shoe had been on the other foot, you would have heard a "You've got to be f--ing kidding me." atleast once. haha When we go back to Seattle I look forward to going on the pub crawl or going to their ghost hunting event. Took the tour last night for the first time after purchasing a two for one deal on Groupon. Make sure you reserve your spot in advance because everyday was filled to capacity. Our tour guide Aten was great. He cracked jokes and involved the guests the entire time. We were a pretty big group also and he did a good job with being knowledgable about the area. On the tour you walk around the areas of Pioneer Square that supposedly have hauntings and you get to learn the history behind these stories. It was also cool to learn a little bit more about Seattle. This tour isn't a ghost hunting tour, it's a walking tour to learn and get creeped out. Overall the tour was cool and everyone should check it out! On a side note, if you or anyone in your party decides to drink beforehand please remember to be courteous to others on the tour. We don't need to hear pointless questions every 2 minutes or listen to you challenge every statement made. Aten did a good job keeping his cool and I applaud him for this. If this annoying female with the spiked starbucks drink is reading my review, realize that everyone on this tour was talking about you behind your back and wanted you to shut your mouth. We all paid money to be there and learn. By the way, I was the one that said shut up to you and your annoying group during the last part of the tour. I'm glad it worked, I should have stepped up earlier because no one else did. Also, don't think we all didn't here your racist remark about Asian people which was just plain rude.
