Fun place right in Fernando's Beach for a quick bite or to watch a game. We had the pretzel - served hot and fresh with cheese dip and a tasty brown mustard. Also had the lobster crab dip that tasted more like crab - had to hunt for the lobster. They make a very good version of the BVI Painkiller served at Level 1,2 or 3 - depending on 'how much pain you tryin' ta kill.' No evidence that it is authentic Pussers rum, but the flavor was pretty legit with fresh ground nutmeg. The upstairs wasn't open when we arrived for a late lunch. I imagine the view of the ocean is fantastic. I'll look forward to seeing it next time we are in the area. read more

Bartender tried to rip me off. I went in with friends but did not order anything walked out and the bartender yelled" he owes me $100". Two 2 guys chased me and threw me to the ground. The bartender said "oh it's ok you don't owe me anything". After these guys assaulted me. Well here is the truth about this place. I was here on vacation with some of my employees that have helped me so much through the whole Covid thing, and I we like to patronize local places. Upon walking in the door, we were greeted by what I am assuming was the bouncer. Instead of saying welcome, he said to me and one of my fellow employee, I don't think this is your style of place. I am assuming because I was dressed not in a tshirt which, unbeknownst to him, we go to local places in our home town, just like this all the time. Does this gentleman judge everyone based on race, gender, or the way you dress? Is this the type of person you want greeting your customers? Cannot believe this place is still in business. Smoke everywhere when you walk inside... not to mention terrible service from the nasty barmaid. Looking for the cops to get called over 10 bucks? This is your place. Only locals welcome. Drunk next to me who couldn't get over putting two stools together to seat me and my friend. Rather than sock him, I foolishly defaulted to the grizzled lady bartender who suggested we take our beers and go to the end of the bar. When I declined since the aggressive drunk was obviously done with his beer (and the night) she said, "well you're FUCKING paying for these beers." I walked out, my buddy tried to be the hero and hung around as she called (most likely) the cop she's intimate with and within 5 minutes THREE cop cars converged as if they'd waited all night for this. Even though my friend PAID (which I really wouldn't have done), they tried to take him to jail (we're sober btw!). Ended up at the bar next door singing karaoke and the locals were pleasant there. Seriously though, this whole area sucks. A cop waits at the end of the street to hand out DUI's (we ubered). Good riddance. read more

No food, so smoking is allowed inside. Great employees, had no problem finding the baseball game on the TV. Good, strong, cheap drinks!!! Sports is awesome for one reason--the bartenders (the A/C is a close second). Folks might accurately describe it as a dive bar, but I'd suggest that it might be more accurately described as a "snorkel bar." ™ Anyway, I recommend the joint.
