    Old fashioned #1

Sat at the bar for HH last night. Holly provides excellent service with a smile. The HH Ribeye sandwich at $10 was incredible tasty with a huge portion of seasoned fries. The HH beef tips at $10 were incredible and huge enough for two portions. The old-fashioned #1 was tasty but a small pour. The wine pours were small. Great HH food and good canned beer. Very cute place.

A great dining experience on the island that was recommended to us by many! We made a reservation in advance to secure our table and they were ready for us about thirty minutes before our scheduled time. We were able to catch the happy hour that was 330 to 5 PM and receive a discount on some drinks. After our party arrived, our server was quick to take orders and bring out our food. Everything was delicious, we ate every last bite. More on the upscale pricey side for the island, but worth it. They have an outside area too, but it was too cold. Is it outside. Will be back for sure!

Simply delightful! Loved every minute. My mother-in-law and I dined here and we have nothing but great things to say about this place! The atmosphere was contemporary and just my style! Our waitress was wonderful and attended to our every need. I can't say enough about the food... we enjoyed the scallop special and some raw oysters from Prince George's Island. Followed by a Chilean sea bass and the blackened black grouper. Finishing off with caramel gelato and key lime pie. All the dishes were delicious!!! If you're anywhere in the area, you should check it out but make a reservation!!!

We picked this on the recommendation of our Airbnb host, we were not disappointed! We were celebrating a birthday and the celebratory home made key lime was the chef's kiss! We made a reservation for 6pm on a Saturday night, by 7 pm the place was packed! My wife ordered catch of the day (grouper) and that was fantastic as well! (I had it for lunch the next day .)

The place is so great, amazing food and service. The Crab Cake, gnochi with steak, and fresh caught fish were so delicious. Definitely a must go in Ana Maria!

First time at Salt Bar & Table. Our experience was excellent from the moment the valet greeted us at the door. The staff was incredibly attentive and each dish was excellent. Decent wine list and some unique craft cocktails. We explored the entire menu and even found a little room to finish it all off with a gelato. The patio was the place to be.

Excellent food and service at this hot spot on Ami!! The food was all delicious especially loved the scallops appetizer so many flavors in it my taste buds were dancing! Lobster bisque was some of the best I've had. King crab legs were the special and very meaty and cooked perfectly!! Not pictured was the homemade apple pie cheesecake!! Everything was excellent even the service. We can't wait to go back!

On a whim we pulled up and asked if there was any open seats at the bar. The valet ran in a checked and said no , but there was high top available for 2. It was simply amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the interior decors was NY York subway tile, black tin roof and a bit of eyes wide shut. It truly is unique place. It was alive, the bartender waited on us and she was top notch . The food was simply some of the best seafood I have ever eaten from the cold rocking shores of Maine to best seafood restaurant in Providence ( Hemingways ), The Salt Bar and Table is the KOM ( King of the Mountain ). Every dish was cooked to perfection!!!

For someone that eats out often, this may be the best food I've had in a while. Although it is on the pricier side for AMI, the food is quality, large portions, and the FLAVOR is just unbelieveable. I genuinely am still thinking about this meal and drinks. Additionally, the manager and chef came over on separate occasions to ask how the food was. It felt up scale and first class. The only consideration I would have is my grandparents spilt the steak and they did not bring it out on two plates. If it's going to be a more up-scale place, I would think that would be a given, but this is just me being picky!

This was by far the best food we had visiting Longboat Key. Salt Bar and Table was delicious. We dined outside because they were having a private event inside. The outdoor area is cute and has a cozy backyard feel to it. For starters we had oysters. My husband ordered the Bone in Ribeye with Brussel sprouts and I had the Ahi Tuna and we shared the Ceasar salad. Both of our meals were flavorful and delicious. The service was exceptional from beginning to end.

Great view, ambiance & food. Went there on a girls trip. No one was disappointed. Well worth the wait for a table.

Ambiance and service were great. Food is where it fell short. Underseasoned and bland.

We were quickly seated for lunch, and our server was attentive and friendly throughout the entire visit. We both ordered the chicken tortilla soup, and it was amazing -- incredibly rich, flavorful, and comforting. Definitely a standout! Service and food were both excellent. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the inside of the restaurant smelled a bit stale, and unfortunately the women's restroom had an unpleasant odor. Hoping that's something that can be addressed, because otherwise it was a really great lunch experience.

We've been coming here for years, referred tons of people, and genuinely loved this place. Unfortunately, the food quality and service have seriously declined over the last few months. We ordered the Wicked queso(almost $14 now) and it came out ice cold. When we mentioned it politely, the server looked at us like we were stupid for bringing it up. No apology, no concern. It came back missing the guacamole and was still barely lukewarm. Then the fajitas arrived. The meat was unbelievably salty, like it had been dumped in salt, and the vegetables were completely burnt and charred beyond edible. What really made the experience worse was the attitude. Every issue we brought up was met with annoyance instead of customer service. Not once did we hear "sorry" or "how can we make this right?" It honestly felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave. It's disappointing watching a place we once loved go downhill like this, especially in such an amazing location. Hoping they turn things around, but if this keeps up, we're probably done coming back.

However, as I was walking into the restaurant, I was immediately approached by an attendant named Eric who asked, word for word, "Would you like to take care of that tip now?" I was surprised and uncomfortable by being solicited for a tip before I had even entered the restaurant. I am usually a generous tipper, but the interaction felt pushy and inappropriate. Unfortunately, when we left, Eric was waiting in the parking lot and approached us again. He ran up to my car and repeated, "Would you like to take care of that tip?" The second interaction felt even more uncomfortable than the first. I was born and raised in Manatee County and am very familiar with the parking situations on the island and the etiquette surrounding tipping. In my opinion, if tips are expected to this extent, it would be better to charge a parking fee rather than repeatedly soliciting guests for gratuities. This experience left a negative impression and affected an otherwise enjoyable outing. I hope management addresses how parking attendants interact with customers, because experiences like this can reflect poorly on the business and discourage repeat visits.
