They were fair, clear, honest and provided good service at a reasonable price so I kept going back. Bought a bike from J&M motor sports (small Mountain View based one man shop - good guys there and killer deals BTY) - Suzuki GSXR750R - looked like it had been laid down on the right side - the price was excellent (it still ran fine) but needed to be sure about the bike working well out on the road - took it in to SporTech and asked them to do a full service on it - they found the goose neck on the radiator was bent, bent it back into shape, tightened some lines, plugs oil, vlavles etc and were done in almost no time. They could have said .. Fit and made me get a new radiator but true to the reviews these guys are golden - they had the GSXR purring again and its a joy to drive. If you need ANYTHING done on your bike these are the guys. I didn't need magic but they did all that work and full inspection, lube etc for $480. I was looking for a M/C shop that was near to home for a tune-up when I found Sporttech. I didn't have a sportbike but when I called them they assured me that they could take care of my bike.. and they did with a quick turn around. I love sporttech. I bought my motorcycle used and wanted to take it to these guys for a look over, a throttle sync and spark plug replacements. Ended up somewhere in the ball park of $300. Got the bike back in a couple days and it was awesome. All the guys in the shop are really nice and know there stuff. A few days later I tried to install a fender eliminator kit myself and ended up screwing some wiring. Brought it back to Sporttech and they found that the guy who had my bike before more really jacked up the wiring harness. They spent tons of time fixing it, but finally replaced it and redid the wiring right. I got my bike home and apparently one of my tail bulbs went out which messed with my instrument panel. I had some real nasty ghosts in my machine. So I texted... that's right... texted (customer service is legit!) Joe who worked on my bike and he walked me through how to fix it rather than going down there and he told me that if I couldn't take care of it to bring it in. I brought it in because I was still having issues, he replaced the bulb for me and I'm a happy camper. R6 is as good as new. Oh, not to mention the owner Joe saw that my rear seat had some rash, but he bought this used bike and didn't need the pillion seat any more and sold me a new rear seat for $10!!! read more

I knew about this place since the owner (Rob) lives 2 houses away from my friend. Rob has a hearing-impairment so the only way to effectively communicate with him is via text messaging or in-person. He's very nice and is willing to go out of his way even in the middle of the night to get your bike to his shop. He's willing to do a lot of custom upgrades as well as common maintenance. The only fall back is that he charges $80/hr which isn't bad compared to dealerships. His service is fast yet he makes everything is in order. One can tell he has passion for motorcycle riding. For great service, quality parts, and fast service this is the place to be. Be wary that his shop is a bit hard to find - its major intersection is Umbarger Rd. read more

I've come here a few times to have my tires balanced. And they were always friendly. Some time ago I needed a part for my bike that would take about 5 days to ship. And it would of been quicker for me to just to wire my bike myself so I called to see if they had the part at the shop and they went ahead and sold it to me. Was definitely a life saver! read more

I stopped by their shop for the first time due to my rear brake acting up. They immediately had me come into the shop to address the issue. My rear brake ended up just having air pockets in the system so I took it for a test ride and it was fixed after 5 minutes. They know what they're doing at this shop and will take care of you. When I asked where to pay he told me it was not a big deal which was a huge surprise as I had no issue paying; I was just relieved the problem was fixed. This is the best shop in town bar none! These guys are totally amazing. They know their stuff and treat a customer how they should be treated. I have been to a few other shops, and all of them were good and did exactly as promised, but this shops is still better...by a long shot! My Nike had been pushed over by some vandals in my neighborhood, and the guys at Sporttech worked really hard to make my bike look good as new for the cheapest they could find. They didn't have to do HALF of the amazing things they did, and I would've left happy and felt I got my money's worth. But man am I glad they did all that they did! I took my 2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6 to Sporttech Cycles about an hour ago. I needed to have a frame slider bolt to be removed as it had broken off after a slow uphill U-turn. Anyway, Joe helped me once I got there. He knew the the bike inside and out as he has the same bike. He worked on it for a bit (it was really stuck!) and after he was done he inspected my bike (added air to the front tire, too) and wrote me a list of thing that need to changed soon. I spoke with Craig and made it clear I need to have my bike done by Thursday so I can ride on Friday. He assured me it would be done. Thursday 3pm no call from them. Rafael tells me bike has not been even started yet and it will take at least 3 days. He talks to Craig and says Craig told me they would begin working on it by Thursday. Okay. Well if that's true then by 3pm why haven't they started it? Obviously no communication going on here. I wasted my time and bike never got done for my ride. Too bad. I heard good things about them but that wasn't the case for me. If Rafael and Craig at least apologized that would have been better. But no. Yea this shops solid. I had a nail in my gsxr tire and came here and they took off my rim in 2.3 seconds! sent it to road rider real quick and put my rim back on. These guys really know their technical stuff, but the front office is a little lax - so make sure you clearly agree with them on what's getting done. Rob has been building and fixing bikes forever. He knows everything there is to know about bikes and does high-quality work. The labor rate is only reasonable, but you are getting more than what you're paying for. Every diagnosis and repair they have done for me has been flawless. My bike is running better now than it has in 6-7 years. Rob, Raf, and crew are also nice and very chill, which is great - but make sure you clearly agree with them on what's getting done. They won't necessarily propose options unless you ask, so ask lots of questions. Get a parts & labor estimate and get it written up on a work-order up before they start. Also, they do NOT make appointments, so if you go on a sunny Sat afternoon, you will have to wait. Go during the week or first thing on Sat morning. read more

Took my 2012 gsxr here to get a valve adjustment and spark plugs change. Their price is very reasonable and great customer service very friendly experience. Even though it took 2 days to get the job done it was OK because he told me there was a couple bikes ahead of me which I totally understand. I came all the way from tracy to get my bike serviced here. When he called me and told me that my bike was ready he also told me my air filter was bad and they didn't have it in Stock but he told me if I do get one when I picked the bike up or later down the line he would pop it in for me for no charge. Very friendly service. Would definitely bring my bike back here for services that I can't do myself. read more
