It is a super rare bike with matte black paint and I was worried it would be too hard fix the plastics and to match the matte black but he did a super job! As you'll see from other reviews, Dave is a pro. I had an unusual request: take a brand new scooter, and paint it a new color - of course which required disassembly of a pretty complex beast. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I have a 2014 VW Jetta that needed a new door. I really messed the door up going out of my driveway and scraping it against a pole. It looked like someone took a sledgehammer to my car and I was only going 2 MPH. I took it to the dealership for an estimate. 4K. I was terrified that I would have to pay so much for such a silly mistake. A friend recommended Dave at California Cycles. I took it to Dave and he gave me an extremely fair estimate and was unbelievably friendly. I dropped the car off at the original time that Dave scheduled me in. About a week later, my car was done and it looked brand new. I can tell the patience, time, and effort it took to fix my car. I wish I had read reviews before I rent California Cycles's go-cart/scooters. Don't rent their carts or scooters. If you do make sure you take pictures for every little detail. Otherwise, you may get blame and charge for damage. I took three of my teenagers to Panama City beach May 30th. Around 4 O'clock in the afternoon, I saw this place right across street from a hotel where we stayed and thought it would be fun for my kids to ride around with. A guy seams like very nice and I trusted him. I have learned my lesson about this matter for sure. First cart that they gave me had low battery and speed thermometer didn't work, it took me 45 minutes going around for 1 mile. I turned around and took the cart back because I have only rented for one hour at first for $75.25 plus $100 security deposit. They charged me additional $107.50 for keeping over night which I thought it was better deal and I won't have pressure for being late for return so I did. Second cart that they gave me supposed faster but had to wait a few minutes to arrive. So we did while we were filing for over night form. When a cart arrived, my kids switched to a cart and never sew they did any inspecting for damage. They gave me a sheet among with all other people initial saying OK for damage column section on sheet. A cart looked okay and I didn't see any noticed damage and didn't think that I was going to get blame for scratches and there were plenty small scratch on that cart and other scooters as well. All we went to have a dinner and came back to hotel. Noticed there wasn't horn and break working so we had to park flat ground to park near hotel office. A cart was parked in from of the hotels til next morning. Next morning, I gave them a copy of receipt so I can have my security deposit back. I waited and waited for one hour and they came back to tell me that there is about 1/2-3/4" diameter scratch on a cart that it will be $299 to repair. And this is not a same guy that who brought me the cart the night before. I called 911 to report their scam and police man told me they get a lot of complaint calls about them. I think the city is getting enough money from them where they are not doing anything to this company. Also, my daughters were telling me they saw several young people were getting charged for damage while I was talking to a police man for report. After, report was made, a police was telling me that there are two California Cycle on this beach owned by this lady to see if I wanted to talk with her so I did. When I got there, there were 4 guys working at that place none of them would tell me what their names are and they were mean and lied about owner wasn't there. I left the building and got in my car to leave, saw a woman peaking out to front door talking to one of the guy so I went back inside to find out if that was her. Sure enough, it was the owner that I have been told that she wasn't there. Unfortunately, after I have explained to her, all she care was rather I initial form and refused to dismiss the charge for damage. After, I spent three hours of none sense, I called the other place to find out the one who accused and claim for damage fee. He was very mean and ruled and weren't tell me his name either. Whoever answered a phone weren't tell me his name. So I asked for big Brian who rented me this cart but a guy was telling me he wasn't in today. I was just there two hours ago and sew him working there. These people are very dishonest and also gave me a bad test of Panama city beach! I don't think I ever want to visit the city to spend my money to them. I called my credit card company to freeze my card for transaction. Luckily, it didn't come through and am going to report to the BB as well. I will do what I can to let visitors know about this people working at this place mistreating customers and visitors to give bad experience of the city. Never had experienced like this before. read more

These guys do excellent work. They paint and do bodywork not only on motorcycles, but cars as well. They also have a lot of guys who bring them hot rods, and hot rod guys usually have extremely high standards with their paint jobs, if that tells you anything. Anyhow, I had CC paint two of my bikes; one was a sportbike with several panels, and the other was just a custom tank for a standard. They did a PERFECT job on both, for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended. read more
