This is a great example of you get what you pay for. Well, I liked that they do offer early check-in for a $25 fee, they will hold your bags for you if you decide not to check in early, my room was very spacious, and the hotel looks clean at the surface. I also ordered chicken pot pie from their diner area and it tasted very good. When I did check in later in the evening (7:45pm), there was a sign at the front desk that read "will be back in 10 minutes". The attendant was across the room, where they serve food, just chatting with the attendant over there. Once she seen me, she did tend to me. I did not like that the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the theme parks however, the shuttle service picks once up early in the morning before the parks open, and they return before the parks close; this is not a continuous service that rotates all day. Literally once in the morning, and once in the late afternoon for each theme park. There are dead gnats in the corner of the windowsill in my room. There was hair all over the floor and the bathroom in my room, as well as a live roach running around in the sink. There are rat droppings and more hair in the stairwells (I know this because I used the stairs more than the elevator). The breakfast buffet that they offer is very limited and closes at 9:30 AM. I paid $122 for one night. This is definitely the lower mid of hotels. I do not recommend unless your budget is very limited. I will definitely spend a little more and stay at another hotel next time.

I will start with the positive: clean and spacious rooms Super yummy breakfast included Small cafe, store with an small assortment of beer and wine and snacks Cafe is open at night as well- pool and shuffleboard Gym and pool They hold luggages as well In a shopping center with tons of restaurants and publix walking distance Free shuttle to parks Staff was super nice The not so good: the refrigerator in the room was so noisy!!! The pillows were tiny i felt i needed 10 to get propped up

What is missing from this photo the coffee maker! The refrigerator was down in that little hole and I moved it up so we can get to it.

Starting from the construction of the building being built with wooden floors, makes it very noisy! You hear everybody running around upstairs above you and in the hallways any movement. We requested a handicap accessible room. They did not give us this. I called Down and he said he would see what housekeeping had to say. We never got a call back, I went downstairs to check and it's just a lot of people complaining. The room has hard floors, kind of clean, but the hard floors make it difficult for people with issues with their feet who are used to having carpet on the floor. Hard floors are great for the hotel as they're very easy to clean. I will update this Review after our stay we have to stay here for three days now because we've already paid for it! I would not recommend this hotel to anybody who's not on a super tight budget! After the first night, I find that the doors are not sealed properly at the bottom, so the light comes through. The beds are very uncomfortable! This building is unsafe as the doors to the rooms are fire doors, and they are not sealed! I will take a picture of the door tonight and add it to this. Hopefully a fire marshal will see it!

We needed a place to crash after our red-eye flight into Orlando and Expedia actually recommended this spot. The location was ok from the airport. The front desk clerk is 100% why I am giving this 2 stars instead of 3 or 4. She was so incredibly rude and maybe didn't realize how rude she was being. Our flight was weather delayed, so we didn't get to the hotel until 8AM. She made sure to inform us 4 times that we needed to be checked out by 11 and that if we weren't they would charge us for another night. Tired from the 3 hour delay + 5 hour flight, we just wanted to grab a couple hours of sleep. We definitely understood that we needed to be checked out by 11, and perhaps we looked like hooligans or something but she was just rude. The cafe in the lobby had delicious empanadas, which we scarfed down before we passed out. The room is very basic, but Expedia's price wasn't too bad.

My family And I drive up to Orlando often. To visit family and to enjoy Disney themed parks. It's location is convenient. We got 2 queen beds. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is rather small. Fridge in the room. High ceilings. If you need to heat up your food, there's a microwave in breakfast space. I was disappointed how the plus size lady working the kitchen was unsanitary. She handed my child a yogurt with a defect/perforation on the sealing foil. That's should not be served to anyone but the trash. I spotted that and told her how she was in the wrong. She says she saw nothing wrong with giving him a yogurt that had a hole in it. She needs OSHA training. The coffee was majority water. Extremely diluted. Few people complained about it to her. Front desk was not as welcoming as they should be. I think there's great room for improvement for the staff.

The stay and the hotel was great. The only negative I had was a disturbing interaction with the "Manager" -Alessandra P. She is totally unprofessional, she lacks in basic people skills, and has a disgusting attitude. She yelled and screamed at me in front of other hotel patrons and staff with no regard for human decency. She left me in fear for mine and my families safety. If you say at this hotel beware of -Alessandra P. at all costs as her behavior is inappropriate and concerning.

Overall I give this hotel a 4/5 stars. The breakfast was mid just had cold scrambled fake eggs(wish they at lesst put cheese), a TON of carbs, almost no vegan options or fruits, there is yogurt, coffee and sausages orange juice, milk and frosted flakes. The hotel stay itself was alright amenities were pretty nice there was pool,no jacuzzi (have to ask front for towels), only one shaded area. There is A small gym area with weights, two treadmills, bicycle ect.. Bathroom areas down in the area. There is a pool table, board games and sliding board table in the lobby are to hang out and play. The room itself was ok, ac was great the shower was hot and refreshing bed is very large but extremely stiff and the bedding was too small for the king size bed (queen sized bedding ) . I will say there was small ants next to windows in hotel room so do not leave food outside of fridge. There was a mini fridge( no freezer compartment) in thw room and a microwave is downstairs. You have to ask them for room service which is only trash change, towel change and soap refill. I give the shuttles a 0/5 we waited at 8:00 for 30 min for thw shuttle and just as they came they stopped for less than 30 sec and left without letting us get on when we waited in the lobby. We asked the hotel staff to call it back and they wouldn't do it and said it left already. Luckily we brought our own car the other two groups that waited for the bus had to Uber it which was ridiculous. Checking out was very easy and fast.

The hotel is clean and the receptionists are friendly. Didn't dislike anything, our room looked just like how it was advertised on the hotel's website. Would recommend!

Killed a roach in the room

Disgusting! Had roaches and ants in the room. Could not sleep or be in the room without feeling gross. The room is super basic like a motel 6 but nicer looking. The amenities are bad, pool is only open to 6. Toiletries are a joke, no extra toilet paper or shampoo. The pillows are tiny squares, had dead ants in the sheets. Do not stay here, even the cheapest hotel is probably cleaner.

While I was here, I heard someone at the front desk to make a comment that this location was recently bought out by Disney. I wasn't surprised to hear this, since there were many displays and decorations reminiscent of Walt Disney World, which was so fun to see! The hotel staff was great, we loaded our bags on a cart, which they brought up to our room for us. At one point, I left the room without a key card, and upon proving my identity at the front they quickly gave me a new one to use. This location is huge, and has plenty of amenities! I enjoyed walking around and exploring the hotel, and especially seeing the pool area, which has plenty of lounge seating. The fitness center was nice, although I was surprised in how small it is for a location this large. I did a workout at 8 AM on Monday, and four other people joined me during this time, so what was a little tight. My husband had a great experience at his work conference, meals were served here which looked good from what I could see. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel the next time I return to Disney!

Check-in was easy and stress-free. With 238 guestrooms and suites, our clean and spacious room was nice, and being at the very end of the hall on the upper floor, it was pretty quiet. For the price, I would give it zero stars otherwise as rooms are in great need of updating in soundproofing. The bed and bathroom fixtures are updated and nice quick hot water. There is an area for coffee with microwave/refrigerator with a little countertop outside the bathroom to use which was nice. The air conditioner also works well. I wish they would modernize the couch sofa bed as it was awful feeling all the springs and made for a painful back/neck the next day. The breakfast is good but normal for free. Staff again in breakfast area was excellent. The parks are close so it's convenient but rest is imperative so if you're not a sound sleeper, I'd make a stay further out somewhere else for a good nights sleep.

Your "welcome gift" is just an invitation to sit through a high pressure sales pitch for time share purchase. Comes with a gift card, but not worth it in all honesty. Facilities: Nice, but mildly dated. Pool was overcrowded, but nothing we can do about that. An adults only pool would be nice. Food quality at Pavilion is pretty craptastic for the prices. There were enough amenities to keep the kids entertained, and it was centrally located enough to be able to go elsewhere when they were bored of the hotel. We had connecting rooms. Very convenient to have two rooms when dealing with kids' bedtimes and also everyone trying to get ready for dinner at the same time! The rooms were fine, standard Hilton set up. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were nice. The bathrooms had a single sink. Shower water pressure was not great. I did not love the smell of the Crabtree & Evelyn products. The pools are lovely, very relaxing, although probably not enough to keep kids older than mine entertained for very long. There's a lazy river, which is nice, and there's a waterslide. But they lack the huge wow factor, like the Omni's wave pool or the Marriot World Center's true waterpark. There's a decent poolside bar with covered seating, and there is poolside service, although we did not partake. There seemed to be ample lounge chairs by the pool, and we were always able to find a place to stash our towels, unlike other resorts. There's also a tennis court. It is hidden in the far corner of the resort. My daughter and I went to hit balls for a bit in the Florida humidity. I think it's mostly used for pickle ball, and probably mostly in the winter time. There's a basketball court and an area set up for volleyball. I saw people using all those amenities, which was nice to see. I did not see an arcade, but I didn't mind that. We didn't try any of the sit down restaurants. I would go to the 24 hour market for coffee and pastries for breakfast, and we spent the other meals off site. The coffee and pastries were fine, but expect a line and a wait. Parking is either valet or self-park. There are a couple EV chargers in the farthest corner of the lowest level of the garage.

It's about 15-20 mins from MCO which is where our cruise shuttle left us off. We had the loaded nachos and chicken quesadilla (forgot to get photos) to split at the restaurant by the pool. We also had mango cheesecake and ice cream cookie sandwiches. I enjoyed their adult capri sun (I call them) while soaking in the hot tub. I didn't think their food fees were all that bad (as I expected resort type prices) and it's worth it to note they do include the tip in your bill. We had such a lovely day there and all staff were nice. The hot tub and lazy river (must have went around 10-12 times) were our favorites. They hold your luggage, so glad for. My only negative to report is the lack of chairs, we got there fairly early 11am and already there were no chairs. What is bothersome is most people weren't even using them. If you are used to just being able to walk to the elevator up to your room (which is why I chose DoubleTree), that may not happen. Unbeknownst to me, they have 'villas' (like a motel) along with the high rise rooms. The room was ok for a motel...clean and the bed was super comfy. I didn't see bugs like some of the other reviews. However, the room definitely needs a makeover for the money they charge. I seriously could have just stayed at the Red Roof Inn for a lot less $$. My story for what it's worth: My flight was delayed and I didn't get to the hotel till 2:30am. All I wanted was to jump into my jammies and a bed. The front desk clerk gave me the key and a map. A map...hmmm, should have been my first clue? And then she proceeds to tell me the best way to get to the room is to walk out to the street and take a right and another right. Mind you, I'm 66 y/o single female, don't travel light so have two suitcases (one of which is 50 lbs) and a huge purse AND it's pitch black outside. I walked around 50-60 yards from the front desk. I finally find the building with the help of my phone flashlight and start looking for an elevator...NONE! AND she put me on the 2nd floor. Remember, it's 2:30 am! So I had to drag my suitcases, one at a time, up stairs by myself. I felt sorry for the people near the stairway and tried to be as quiet as possible but there was just no way. Btw, front desk clerk didn't mention that there was no elevator nor the long walk outside the property to get to it NOR offered to have someone help. It would have been a simple fix if the front desk clerk would have read the room and noticed I'm an older, single female with 2 large suitcases and maybe look for a room closer and more secure would have been the thing to do or find someone to help. She actually didn't look like she wanted to be there and it was a bother for her to be working. She sure didn't make me feel DoubleTree welcomed except she gave me 2 warm cookies...yay me :/
