The interesting part is their "free" breakfast buffet that they advertise but then you get to it and the only things free are bread and waffles... if you want eggs or sausage or whatever else you have to pay. This is a great example of you get what you pay for. Well, I liked that they do offer early check-in for a $25 fee, they will hold your bags for you if you decide not to check in early, my room was very spacious, and the hotel looks clean at the surface. I also ordered chicken pot pie from their diner area and it tasted very good. When I did check in later in the evening (7:45pm), there was a sign at the front desk that read "will be back in 10 minutes". The attendant was across the room, where they serve food, just chatting with the attendant over there. Once she seen me, she did tend to me. I did not like that the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the theme parks however, the shuttle service picks once up early in the morning before the parks open, and they return before the parks close; this is not a continuous service that rotates all day. Literally once in the morning, and once in the late afternoon for each theme park. There are dead gnats in the corner of the windowsill in my room. There was hair all over the floor and the bathroom in my room, as well as a live roach running around in the sink. There are rat droppings and more hair in the stairwells (I know this because I used the stairs more than the elevator). The breakfast buffet that they offer is very limited and closes at 9:30 AM. I paid $122 for one night. This is definitely the lower mid of hotels. I do not recommend unless your budget is very limited. From my point of view, the rooms are nice and comfortable though the pillows are small. The price for Expedia shifts a lot back and forth so buy it when it is under $100. For the breakfast, there are not many options, only waffles, bread, and more. There is a cafe that costs money to buy extra food. The pool is a little dirty and deep, so kids might have difficulty swimming in this pool. It goes up to 6 feet deep. There are games in the lobby that are fun to play and the staff are nice. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. The shuttle is nice, though the times aren't great. read more

Starting from the construction of the building being built with wooden floors, makes it very noisy! You hear everybody running around upstairs above you and in the hallways any movement. We requested a handicap accessible room. They did not give us this. I called Down and he said he would see what housekeeping had to say. We never got a call back, I went downstairs to check and it's just a lot of people complaining. The room has hard floors, kind of clean, but the hard floors make it difficult for people with issues with their feet who are used to having carpet on the floor. Hard floors are great for the hotel as they're very easy to clean. I will update this Review after our stay we have to stay here for three days now because we've already paid for it! I would not recommend this hotel to anybody who's not on a super tight budget! After the first night, I find that the doors are not sealed properly at the bottom, so the light comes through. The beds are very uncomfortable! This building is unsafe as the doors to the rooms are fire doors, and they are not sealed! I will take a picture of the door tonight and add it to this. We needed a place to crash after our red-eye flight into Orlando and Expedia actually recommended this spot. The location was ok from the airport. The front desk clerk is 100% why I am giving this 2 stars instead of 3 or 4. She was so incredibly rude and maybe didn't realize how rude she was being. Our flight was weather delayed, so we didn't get to the hotel until 8AM. She made sure to inform us 4 times that we needed to be checked out by 11 and that if we weren't they would charge us for another night. Tired from the 3 hour delay + 5 hour flight, we just wanted to grab a couple hours of sleep. We definitely understood that we needed to be checked out by 11, and perhaps we looked like hooligans or something but she was just rude. The cafe in the lobby had delicious empanadas, which we scarfed down before we passed out. The room is very basic, but Expedia's price wasn't too bad. read more

My family And I drive up to Orlando often. To visit family and to enjoy Disney themed parks. It's location is convenient. We got 2 queen beds. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is rather small. Fridge in the room. High ceilings. If you need to heat up your food, there's a microwave in breakfast space. I was disappointed how the plus size lady working the kitchen was unsanitary. She handed my child a yogurt with a defect/perforation on the sealing foil. That's should not be served to anyone but the trash. I spotted that and told her how she was in the wrong. She says she saw nothing wrong with giving him a yogurt that had a hole in it. She needs OSHA training. The coffee was majority water. Extremely diluted. Few people complained about it to her. Front desk was not as welcoming as they should be. I think there's great room for improvement for the staff. read more

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. It was in close proximity to various parks. They provide a shuttle service to and from various parks. A complementary breakfast is included. This is a good budget hotel. It provides a very basic, quiet place to stay for those who are spending most of their time enjoying Orlando. The rooms were very clean and well laid out. The beds were very comfortable. Cons: The breakfast provided as a complementary breakfast from the hotel is very basic and very bland. There are no frills. Example: you can drink the coffee that is provided gratis, but it's not very flavorful and not anything special. You can purchase a coffee from the coffee bar, however. We found the towels to be a little bit thin and a little bit scratchy, not terribly pleasant to wrap up in, but they serve their purpose. As stated in other reviews here, you do have to ask for fresh towels or anything else like that that you might need or for your room to be cleaned. House cleaning is not done on a daily basis. In summary, it wasn't our favorite hotel. We have experienced better amenities, accommodations, and friendlier staff for sure. However, for a budget hotel, it will do the trick. read more

My son and I were visiting Orlando and decided to stay at the Spot X hotel. Check in was super easy and quick, the man at the front desk was really friendly. The lobby is huge equipped with a pool table, computers, and a dining area. They offer breakfast everyday. The pool is located right past the elevators and they also have a 24/7 gym. The lobby also has a wide selection of snacks and drinks to purchase. Our room was on the top floor, right next to the elevator. The 4th floor had vending machines and if you needed to do laundry the machines are located on the 2nd floor. Our room was clean and tidy. Everything looked exactly like the pictures online. My only complaint is that the room fridge was small but other than that our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is located right near shopping centers, you can definitely walk to your destination. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from MCO and Disney as well. read more

The stay and the hotel was great. The only negative I had was a disturbing interaction with the "Manager" -Alessandra P. She is totally unprofessional, she lacks in basic people skills, and has a disgusting attitude. She yelled and screamed at me in front of other hotel patrons and staff with no regard for human decency. Tried to give this a chance for the second time. The cons: The bed is fairly comfortable but the pillows are half the size of normal pillows, so you get three of them per bed, so each person gets 1.5. The fan/light in the bathroom sounds like an airplane taking off- not a dealbreaker but annoying and no way to turn off the fan and just use the light. The floor is vinyl so it's easy to hear every step from those above you, which combined with little to no insulation makes for a very loud experience as others noted. The worst part is the front desk. Both stays they have acted as though they are angry at me for checking in. The multiple front desk staff didn't smile one time in any of our times passing, and came across so incredibly uninviting that I actually locked up my luggage and blocked the door for the first time in my life at a hotel stay every time I left and/or slept. Despite traveling monthly for work and staying in hundreds of hotels I can honestly say that this is the only place I felt unwelcome and almost creeped out to stay at. It was clean enough, but I did not feel comfortable enough to stay alone. I will not be back. read more

First off... I don't really write reviews. I feel like I should put this out there though. The staff were friendly. When we got into the room, the room looked clean. I liked that there were hard floors... what I didn't like was that I felt I needed to keep socks or sandals on. The floors felt like they haven't been mopped in a while. The restroom was clean and I liked the glass doors for the showers even though they didn't snap closed. I thought there would've been a table to eat at but there was a desk and only one chair. We had to eat in our beds. We stayed 3 nights... NOT ONCE DID HOUSEKEEPING CLEAN THE ROOM! We didn't leave a mess. We were just expecting clean sheets and clean towels when we were back. The room felt small, it was four of us, 2 adults and 2 young kids. The breakfast buffet was decent and very attentive staff. Bananas were insanely unripe though. This hotel wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Not a place I would stay again just because I personally require a few more bells and whistles in my hotels but overall I was satisfied enough. Good: VERY CLEAN. No issues with cleanliness at all. No bugs, or stains, or dust. Friendly staff. Shuttle to and from the major parks. Free breakfast, very standard, but the breakfast options for purchase were excellent. Comfortable beds. We had two sinks in our bathroom which was nice. Laundry on site. Pool. Walking distance to Publix and Walgreens. Not so good: No closet or drawers in the room. I'm one of those people who likes to unpack my luggage, so if you are too this may not be the place for you. No microwaves in the room, but one in lobby. The shuttles don't have the same drop off a pick up locations. You might get dropped off at Magic Kingdom but get picked up at Epcot. Not a huge deal considering you can take the monorail between Disney parks but might run into an issue with Orlando. Nothing an Uber can't fix but I feel needed to be noted for future guests. Overall a decent stay. I think if you're on a quick trip to Orlando looking for something affordable, clean, and safe this hotel will do it for you. I just like a little more spark to my hotel stays. But if you're not as needy and knit picky as I can be, it'll do. read more

If you check-in earlier than 4pm, they will charge you a $25 fee. You have to request house keeping every day before 11am. And housekeeping will only take out the trash. They do not make the beds on weekends or when the hotel is full... how is this the customers fault? Sounds like a staffing issue. read more

Overall I give this hotel a 4/5 stars. The breakfast was mid just had cold scrambled fake eggs(wish they at lesst put cheese), a TON of carbs, almost no vegan options or fruits, there is yogurt, coffee and sausages orange juice, milk and frosted flakes. The hotel stay itself was alright amenities were pretty nice there was pool,no jacuzzi (have to ask front for towels), only one shaded area. There is A small gym area with weights, two treadmills,bicycle ect.. Bathroom areas down in the area. There is a pool table, board games and sliding board table in the lobby are to hang out and play. The room itself was ok, ac was great the shower was hot and refreshing bed is very large but extremely stiff and the bedding was too small for the king size bed (queen sized bedding ) . I will say there was small ants next to windows in hotel room so do not leave food outside of fridge. There was a mini fridge( no freezer compartment) in thw room and a microwave is downstairs. You have to ask them for room service which is only trash change, towel change and soap refill. I give the shuttles a 0/5 we waited at 8:00 for 30 min for thw shuttle and just as they came they stopped for less than 30 sec and left without letting us get on when we waited in the lobby. We asked the hotel staff to call it back and they wouldn't do it and said it left already. Luckily we brought our own car the other two groups that waited for the bus had to Uber it which was ridiculous. Checking out was very easy and fast. read more

The air conditioning in my room is broken. When I asked to be switched to another room, the person I spoke to informed me that there are no available rooms. Easy peasy check-in. No fuss No muss!! Friendly front desk staff. Nice comfy cozy room. Vending machines with water, other drinks, and a nice variety of snacks, if you so choose. Affordable hotel, central to an Outback Steakhouse, a Publix supermarket, and other businesses within walking distance. Fridge in room. Flat screen tv that works, quiet neighbors. A close to full length mirror in room, so that I can make sure my outfit for the party I'm in town for is on fleek. I think we have the makings of a recommendable hotel to stay at if you're ever visiting Orlando. Nothing else to say. read more

Stayed here for few days, priced well if you dont plan on staying in the room and just sleep. Not sure about the breakfast as DD was nearby so we just drove to it also would be the cheaper/ better option IMO. Bathrooms were nice and big, the usual for hotels bathroom although I would recommend bigger soap/conditioner and shampoo sizes or just bring your own. Also if you are using the disability parking there are only 4 spots which is very minimal especially if you really needed to use them they should make more spots to serve them. The perfumed cleaning products took our breath away! If you have asthma, allergies, or are sensitive to smells, avoid this hotel at all costs! While I found the shower pressure to be the best I've ever experienced, had my autistic daughter been traveling with me, she could not have withstood the intensity. A package was delivered before I arrived, and the hotel charged me $10 to store it until my arrival. No hotel in Orlando has ever charged me for this service. Also, there were no luggage carts available to help us get our luggage to our room. Thankfully, a nice girl at the front desk offered to help us with a heavy piece. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and we loved it. It's a brand new hotel, very clean and quiet. There were a lot of people there but it wasn't unbearable and you aren't able to hear your neighbor. The rooms are so nice. The only problem we had was when we checked in, they charged us twice. Obviously they refunded us before we noticed but it took a couple days to go back into our account. So, if you make a reservation online and put your card info in, don't pay when you check in because they automatically charge your card when you physically check in to the hotel. read more

I booked this on Hotels.com at the same rate as the hotel website (to get "hotels.com stamps for a free night in the future). I booked this because it is a newly built hotel, the rate was good, and reviews high. The parking is free. (Many in the area charge $20+) within walking distance there is an Outback, McD, and I-drive shuttle trolly (fee based bus to take you to sea World and other I drive areas). The outlet mall is just a bit farther, within walking distance. When we walked in there was a young man working hard in the lobby wiping the furniture down. The young lady at the front desk welcomed us and said we could check in early (1pm) for $25 or wait until 2pm for a free early checkin. We decided to wait and walked over to McD and had lunch. While there the front desk called and said we could check in (1:45) I thought that was very nice of her. We were offered a first floor room but requested a higher floor and it was granted. Checkin was quick and friendly and the clerk greeted us by name. We took the elevator to our floor and saw the same young man now vacuuming. He obviously takes pride in his work as everything was spotless. We got to our room and again, spotless. There was a small gift bag with two bottles of water and some candies with a "thank you for staying" note. . A small hanging area with ironing board and iron and a luggage rack above the AC (which was running and cold). There was a step in glass enclosed (spotless) shower. The bathroom could have benefitted from towel racks or bars as only a single hook on the door was available. There is a breakfast counter for sandwiches, etc reasonably priced, a small snack shop area with tables, shuffleboard and pool tables, an ATM, a few computers, and a few couches in the lobby. There is a guest laundry area, a small gym, and a clean swimming pool as well. My only cons with this hotel are that it has VERY thin walls and ceilings. I could hear every conversation of people walking by and every footstep in the room above me. If I return I'd ask for a corner room on the top floor. This hotel is not luxurious, it has small, simple rooms, and no spa, bar, or fancy restaurant. But it is NEW, CLEAN, and has a FRIENDLY STAFF. We will definitely stay here again! So for the price it was very clean, services provided by Young individuals, who don't know much about customer service, beds are not made If the hotel is full, they do have breakfast availability, which is wasn't the best, and wasn't a fan over all. With all the other hotels in the area this is one I won't come back to. Not much to do either of bringing kids. read more
