I went in for my first time with my girlfriend. The girl doing my gfs feet cut her big toe really bad. I didn't notice until we got home and she was nice enough not to say anything because I wouldn't have even paid. You are probably the worst experience if you want to spend money on a service. They rush everything and just want the dolla dolla bill yall. The girl doing my feet just started 3 days ago and had no idea how to work the machine to turn the water on. I want to start off my saying that Natalie is top notch. She does the best gel x nails. The business itself is why I'm leaving 2 stars. I scheduled an appointment for myself and my 7 year old niece. 7. A child pedi and mani which is on their website as a service. AFTER the service they performed they tell me that she doesn't qualify for the child mani and pedi because she is too tall. No where in their area or on the website did it specify this. Apparently over 4 feet is no longer a child. Again they tell me that I have to pay for an adult service AFTER they had performed the service. I can afford the adult service but there should be signage and it should say that on the website. I drive a far distance to come to this shop and have been doing so for 3 years. When I explained all this to the receptionist and mentioned that I would not be returning, she sarcastically said "sorry to hear that". The nail technician was nice enough to charge me the child price, probably trying to retain a customer but because of the receptionist's unprofessional response I WILL DEFINITELY NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Spotlight Nails. I brought my 13-year-old daughter in for a nail appointment, and not only did the nail tech and owner fail to provide the design she wanted, but they also pressured and intimidated her into saying she liked it, even though she was clearly unhappy. When I addressed that the nails were not what she requested, they argued with me instead of trying to fix the issue. I was originally told we could change the color, but when we asked to make the change, they tried to charge me extra without my consent. To make matters worse, the owner got on the phone with my daughter directly--completely bypassing me as the adult--and kept asking her if she liked her nails, putting her in an uncomfortable and embarrassing position where she felt forced to say yes. On top of all that, their card machine wasn't working, nor was their ATM, which made paying extremely inconvenient. I spent over $300 on services that left us feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. Hey, Spotlight Nails--how about addressing the adult in the situation and not cornering a child? Shame on you for prioritizing a sale over a customer's comfort and experience. read more

If that's "customer service," I'm the Queen of England. Never again. I need to clarify in reference to the response from the owner, which is not accurate: The basic services for Dip Powder were $47 when I called to inquire, and I was told that if I wanted tips, it would be an additional $5= $52. If you do not own the quotes you provide to your customers and charge extra fees at the end of your services to guarantee a tip for your employees, this is very unprofessional. I even made sure they knew that my length was very short, to avoid additional fees, yet, when they called the owner for clarification, the receptionist let her know that she was reading the prices from her book, where indeed the price I was quoted originally. SO to your response... You are not being TRANSPARENT!!! read more

I visited the salon for the first time yesterday Sunday ,9/1 with my daughter. I received a gel manicure and she got a polish. They told us wait time would be about 15 mins but it was definitely 30-40. I didn't really mind since it was a Sunday and so i expected to wait a bit. They were kind to me and my daughter and pricing is reasonable. Last night, one of my gel nails completely peeled off. I was so shocked because it hasn't even been 24 hrs since i got them done. I wasn't doing anything strenuous, I was just picking up a blanket. I let it go and thought it was just a one off. No biggie. Well this morning, another nail is peeling right off. I don't understand. I'm not a nail technician but how does it just peel off? I hadn't gotten my nails done for a couple years after becoming a mama and this was literally my first time back to taking care of myself. From what i remember back then, it was hard to get gel removed. I couldn't do it myself. I was happy with the service but I am honestly really bummed because I am a busy mom and can't go get this fixed until the weekend. It's Monday. I will have to go into the office for a whole week with missing nail colors. Oh well. read more

0 Stars if I could. When I go to get a pedicure, I go for the relaxing and professional experience. This was not. They pestered me REPEATEDLY, to change the pedicure service I wanted and pay more for gel polish. I did not and I made it very clear. They proceeded to leave my mother wrapped in cold, wet towels as they had personal issues with a drain in one of their sinks. (Took atleast 15 minutes) My french tip pedicure was absolutely terrible and would advise you all to go ANYWHERE else. read more

She said she "checked cameras" and saw the incident and the behavior of the front desk girl. She also mentioned she removed the response posted because of what was said. She offered for me to come back to get my service done for 50% off. I'm not sure why I would've had to still to pay anything after this horrendous experience. After I said that, she said it would be for free with someone "really good" but I refuse to give this salon any more of my time or another dime. read more
