TERRIBLE!!!! Now known as "Pressed Cleaners" Do not take your stuff here! Dropped off my down comforter off here over a week ago and my boyfriend went to pick it up because it was suppose to be done by now... They tell him it isn't done and they "don't know when it will be done" so he just says give it to me i'll take it somewhere else. The lady ran around the store for 15 minutes trying to find it and had to call someone to ask where it was. She finally finds an unmarked bag with no label and asks my boyfriend if that's ours... Seriously so unprofessional and I will not trust them with my stuff again. read more

If you look at this scarf you can see how finely woven it was, however, it fell down in my closet and really got wrinkled big time. I was afraid to iron so I brought to Spots Dry Cleaning in Anthem and wow, did they ever do a good job of cleaning and ironing it. Annoying , annoying , annoying. They drop a bag at my house, which I toss. Then they leave a note that they have picked up my dry cleaning and it will be ready on Thursday, which is confusing since I tossed their bag . Then I get a note asking for the bag back. Idiotic marketing. I will never use this company. I am an extremely loyal customer of Organic Cleaners at Desert Ridge, who do a superb job. Spots: leave me alone and stay off my property! read more

Spots/Pressed Cleaners - Horrible! Don't go! They offer a 30% off coupon but then only take 10% off. They said "it's the best they can do, system problems" This has happened many times. Also the past two times I have received someone else's cleaning mixed in with mine. read more

I moved from MI to Anthem, AZ and had to find all new stores, services etc. I hit the jack pot finding Spots Cleaners (after disappointed with a few other cleaners). I went to Spots to dropped off an assortment of clothing items (blouses, shirts, jacket [one with leather trim ], slacks, sweaters etc. The store is clean, spacious, friendly and efficient workers. I picked up my items two days later. I was impressed for a number of reasons. First of all, they have an efficient computer system, which verified everything dropped off. Each item on a hanger with blue tissue lining and covered in plastic. I scanned over the clothing in the store, so far so good. The best part was examining each item when I got home. Everything perfect, even the stain on my new yellow Cabi sweater was gone. Their prices appear to be competitive. I had a 25% off coupon, so the price was great. I know now I do not have to look any further for a dry cleaners. I highly recommend this store. Unfortunately the store is not on a main road, sort of tucked away in a small strip mall. I am happy I found them from a coupon I got. They are located close to I-17 and Anthem Way, so if you are in the area, stop in with your dry cleaning. Based on my experience, you won't be disappointed. I plan to bring in some comforters and pillows. I will update this review after I drop off / get them back. Thanks for reading my review. The reason for one star is due to the service provided by the staff at the Spots Dry Cleaning, LLC located in Anthem, AZ. On Monday, Dec 14th I dropped off my blue leather backpack for cleaning. I was told that the backpack would be sent out for cleaning but it would be back and ready by Friday, Dec 18th. No problem. I return to the store on Saturday, Dec 19th with my pickup ticket. The front desk employee did not know what I was talking about even thought I gave her the ticket (#1032), so she checked another employee. Both employees kept asking me "What day did you drop off the backpack?", it clearly stated on the ticket that I dropped it off Monday, 12/14. After calling her manager, the employee asks me, "When do you need it back?" Well, I was expecting it back on Friday, Dec 18th as promised, but I told her that I need it no later than Monday, Dec 20th. She said, "It will be here on Monday." She added, "We will give you a discount for the inconvenience." I was not happy, but at this point what could I do. I go back to the store at 12:15 today, Dec 20th only to be told that the backpack was not at the store, "come back later". I go back at 5:27pm. Finally, the backpack materialized. The amount of the cleaning was $25.00, I told the front desk employee that a discount was promised for the inconvenience. The employee who promised the discount was on duty and she confirmed the discount. Now get this, I was rung up for $24.96...a whole $.4 discount. After the inconvenience, this discount was an insult. I will not return to this business nor will I recommend it to anyone. read more

They dry cleaned my wedding dress and all of our groomsmen's outfits, including preserving my dress after the wedding and did a wonderful job on all of it!! Do not take any shoes to be repaired. For almost three months now I have been going in to speak to the owner about a pair of shoes that needed a minor repair. They ruined my shoes and are refusing to discuss options to rectify the situation. My shoes continue are still there - the owned has not or will not deal with this issue. Their comment "we did the best we can do".....you can take them someplace else...the patent leather was melted together on a decorative part of a very expensive shoe - they are ruined!. I will be taking further action if this is not resolved. read more

Worst dry cleaner ever. Brought my daughters dress in for pressing and they dry cleaned it and totally ruined it. Don't know where they learned how to dry clean but I will never use them again. Have had some shirts cleaned here before, and that was fine. This time I had a pair of pants dry-cleaned and was shocked when by bill was over $6 (tax incl). Six dollars for one pair of pants I asked?? Just to be sure I haven't been living in a cave the last year I called my old dry cleaners and they charge $2.75. I only stopped going there because I moved further away. Well... it is worth the extra drive now. Really SPOTS???? More than double what others charge?? I brought in a pair of fishing gloves on a Friday to have a thin rubber grip/pad re-sewn to the palm of the glove as the threads were worn and the grid/pad was becoming detached. The girl who helped me told me that they could do it and have them done by Wednesday. On Thursday I returned to the store and spoke with a woman whom I guess was one of the owners. Obviously confused, the first thing she said is that alterations take a week to do. She had no idea why someone would tell me that they would be ready by Wednesday. She said she would make sure that I had them by Friday. I asked "what time?" She replied "after five". Saturday I returned to the store and the first girl I talked to helped me. First thing she said is that she didn't think they were finished and how long did they tell you it would take. Really??? I said that you told me they'd be ready on Wednesday and the other lady told me they'd be ready on Friday. If that isn't bad enough, she couldn't find the gloves anywhere. After she made a phone call to find out where the gloves were, she handed me the gloves that hadn't even been touched. She said that they couldn't sew them because they didn't have a thick enough needle. With no apology, she gave me my gloves back. I immediately took the gloves to another alterations store and the owner assured me that they could sew them, and certainly not require a special or even thicker needle. He said it would be like sewing denim. Bottom line, don't waste your time or $$$ on this business. read more

So i have been a customer of Spots for over a year, so much so i was given one of their laundry bags. On several occasions they were unable to locate my dry cleaning. Shame on me for staying with them but you would think they could not lose your items since everything is in one place. They do not ship items off site to be cleaned. They are also a convenience. Well this past week did it for me as they lost several hundred dollars in dry cleaning. Last Friday i waited as two young lady's look for 20+ minutes to find my dry cleaning. No luck. It has been a week and the owner will not call me even though i stopped in on Tuesday, Thursday and today. While i was there today the gentleman in front of me had the same issues. They gave his dry cleaning to someone else! This happens everyday at this location. The owner seems to not care, because he is stilled getting PAID for the dry cleaning. Someone else picked it up and paid for items that do not belong to them. The two young lady's at the front Susan and Reyna unfortunately take the brunt of every upset customer even though it is not their fault. read more
