A low key, laid back spot with the friendliest service right on the beach. The red snapper was delicious, as well as the burger. I got coconut shrimp - it was fine but not as good as I was hoping. Definitely still recommend this place!

At first we were disappointed because a nearby restaurant was closed but then we beach walked down to Spratnet and boy oh boy were we happy. We watched Calvin make some drinks for loud boys then we all chose the Lime & Coconut frozen drinks, made from scratch. Calvin outs in that wedge of lime, ice and a concoction of different Cruzan Rums along with the coconut and let it spin. Happiness began. Came back later for lunch. I ordered the special whole Red Snapper and wanted to lick my plate of that incredible sauce covering it. Great lightly cooked vegetables and rice on the side. Awesome. My less adventurous friend had a chili dog that she liked too. Lots of beers and drinks available beach side. Recommend getting to know Calvin!

This is a very nice bar and grill that is located right off of Cane Bay Beach. It overlooks the water. When you envision a beach bar, you come up with something like this. It is a small tike style beach bar that has a limited menu that includes wraps, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. They also also some of the popular tropical drinks. It is run by a local family. The owner, Calvin, was sitting at the bar while I was there. He was the friendliest person that you would ever meet. I even did a shot with him. You can either sit at the bar or you can get your food/drink and sit at one of the colorful picnic tables on the beach, next to the bar. They have their own restroom that they can give you the key to and have a band come in on weekends to jam out. They host Sunday Reggae Brunch there and other special events. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Wrap, which came with fries. It took about 20 minutes or so for me to get my food, which is pretty good on island time. The fries were good. The wrap was good and juicy too, but it had too much of a kick to it for me. It was almost too hot to really enjoy its flavor. The young man working the bar could have probably been a bit more attentive This is a very nice bar and the only one, at least that I saw, that is beachside. It is run by a hardworking and friendly family. Minus being too spicy, they have good food and very savory drinks.

My nephew and I visited Sprat Net restaurant today after a swim at Cane Bay. We got there right as they opened at 5:00 PM. We placed our orders immediately and received our food roughly about 30 minutes afterwards. There is no table service seating. You just choose where you want to sit and order your food at the bar. The food comes out to you in a "to go" container. My nephew ordered a bacon chicken sandwich; however, he received just a plain chicken sandwich, and when he asked about the bacon, it appeared that none was available, or it needed to be cooked. I ordered fish and chips. The highlight of both dishes was the chicken and the fish both had the right balance of crunch to it. The fries were plain and not salted or seasoned. The fish and the chicken were very lightly seasoned. The food was just okay; it served its purpose. The atmosphere is what truly brings out this restaurant. The view is absolutely amazing especially at sunset!

We stopped in after a long travel day for some food and drinks. It's right on the beach and had good music playing. We ate lobster, mahi mahi in coconut curry (my favorite) and conch in butter sauce...the food was delicious!! We met the owners who were such great people, we got to try their homemade rum which I enjoyed very much. We will be stopping in again during our trip.

    View is spectacular!

This place is a 10 out of 10! Food was amazing along with the Vibe and music. Highly recommended. The owner was very attentive along with his son who was the bartender and wife who made sure all the customers were taken care of. This evening started our vacation in St. Croix and Spratnet Beach Bar & Grill did not disappoint!

We ate the daily special which was tuna. We happened to arrive at sunset, they had a DJ playing music, & the whole atmosphere was great along with the food!

Great lobster lunch on the north shore. We chose two small lobsters and waited as we sipped on cool beverages and watched our family swim with turtles. The presentation was impressive as the lobsters came out served on China. The color array of the presentation was beautiful. The fresh coleslaw served inside the lobster shell along side the grilled lobster. The garlic butter had a Caribbean kick. The baked potato was perfect. And the location on the beach was amazing. The only thing that would improve the experience is a table umbrella. And possibly seating options for rain.

Calvin the owner holding the fresh lobsters they are about to cook for us.

The food. MEH. I love carpaccio but this was underwhelming and didn't have enough acidity to balance the plate. I ordered the lobster pasta. Wow -what a disappointment. The lobster was over cooked and chewy. The sauce (bisque) was flavorless and needed salt and a bit of heavy cream badly. The pasta was way past al dente. Had to ask for bread- was told "had to see if they had enough for a side of bread." Ran out of risotto for a 730 pm reservation. Offered two specials but I had to ask the price. (Pet peeve--tell me the special price). And then the server wasn't sure and had to go ask. Go only for the location and view --not the food. The mocktails were both delicious. Points for having a mocktail list!

It took 15 minutes to get water, the staff seemed disorganized despite only three tables, and we were repeatedly rushed to order because the kitchen was "closing." The food did not justify the high prices. A $60-$70 filet mignon was completely unseasoned and bland, with minimal sides. While the mussel appetizer tasted good, the broth was full of broken shells, making it unpleasant and unsafe to eat. Drink service was also poor: a second glass of wine was served in a small cup and spilled during a refill without any acknowledgment. Portions were inconsistent, and the overall experience felt careless. One dish, the grilled mahi mahi, was well seasoned and tasted good, but at $40 it felt overpriced for a common fish and came with overcooked, unappealing sides. Overall, the meal was not worth the cost.

It has a nice set up with bar seating, an indoor dining area, and outdoor covered patio seating. It is a very low key spot that runs daily food specials. The staff there is very friendly. Even though the condos has a decent sized parking lot, I had difficulty finding a spot. I was able to get one though after someone had left. They have a full bar with televisions above it playing sports. The dining area overlooks the pool and the patio seating is along the condo's lake. It is very intimate and chill. Their menu is somewhat compact and includes pasta, steak, shrimp, fish, burgers and chicken. I ordered the the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and a side of plantains. My meal also cam with a Caesar's salad and I got some lemonade to wash it all down. It took about 15 minutes. My salad was first. It was fresh and pretty good. The salmon was also delicious along with the potatoes. Come to think of it, the plantains were pretty good too. I really enjoyed my meal. I would just keep in mind though that drink refills are not free. I was not aware of that until after I got my bill. No biggie, I just wish I would have known before hand. Outside of that, my meal was thoroughly enjoyable and the atmosphere was amazing. I recommend checking this place out.
