Had lunch here each year I've come, we hike down to the beach near Point Udall and then go to the GOAT for lunch. Excellent cocktails and we each had nice salads. Highly recommend the Thai Salad with shrimp. Beautiful view, excellent service, great location and food.

A must stop in st Croix! The food, drinks and service were great. The couple next to us were saying it was best meal they had on the island their whole vacation. Can't beat the view either!

Great place, great food and great service! We started with the lamb chop lollipops and they were pretty big they could have been a meal all by themselves. They were seasoned well and served hot. My filet was cooked perfectly. The veggies were pretty standard but still no complaints. Really enjoyed the evening and look forward to coming back...

Good food and good service. Not cheap, but definitely worth it one of the best views on the East End of the island.

Unfortunately for us, the venue was a total debacle when it came to food and service! We made our reservation on Monday. We showed up at 6pm per the reservation only to find that we didn't make it onto the actual reservation list. No assigned table. So, one was created for us. The initial service was fine; however, our food order got lost because our newly created table wasn't on the list of tables in the kitchen system! 2 and 1/2 hours later we finally got food -- the show was long over and clean up had begun. Instead of comping us the food that was so terribly delayed, they comped us for the appetizers only! Unbelievable! Again, the show is totally worth seeing but EAT BEFORE YOU GO! Food and drink were overpriced and mediocre. Avoid it completely if you can see the show at another place!!

It was dinner time so we decided to try the Deep End Bar And Grill that is by the resorts pool. The restaurant only had few customers sitting at the bar so we sat at a table. Our waitress was very friendly and came to the table quickly. We ordered two different cocktails off their specialty menu and two fettuccine and one salmon dinner and an ice tea. The drinks were very tasteless ! There was no sweetener for the tea ( was told the manager doesn't believe in sweetener) The dinners were tasty and portions were adequate. When we received our check we were charged for chicken with the fettuccini that we did not ask for the salmon dinner rang up in their system 6$ more than on menu. They did correct the $6 but was politely told " we don't take American Express! ( our manager won't let us accept it) My final impression was the staff was good , the food was tasty, but the manager obviously has issues to correct. We will not be going back there for one main reason "they don't take American Express ". In a resort, go figure.

We sat at a high top in front of the bar and were greeted immediately. I had the espresso martini and it was sweet and frothy and garnished with shredded chocolate bits. It was the perfect dessert drink. Trevor answered some questions we had about the island and was prompt and pleasant through checkout. Once your eyes have adjusted, you can start reading the truly extensive cocktail menu. There are both classic tiki and newer creations available, and during happy hour, some of the simpler drinks (like Mai Tais) are discounted. If you are new to tiki, you might get frustrated with some of the service times, but each drink can be so complex, they take a little longer than your average rail to make (but it's worth it for the layered flavors). Breaker's Roar is my favorite bar in Christiansted, and it is great either as a first drink of the night spot, or as a final hurrah. I have never had a bad drink from them, and I don't even have a favorite, everything I have tried is so delicious. Each drink also comes in a carefully selected vessel, and that id definitely part of the equation in placing an order. The last time we went, there was also a small bites menu that was a pleasant surprise. We liked the two plates we tried, but already had dinner reservations. Next time we go back, we plan to eat a full meal. This place is a must if you are on the boardwalk!

While Lazy Jacks down the way plays basketball games and pumps US music, La Nasa is much more autentico. Locals gather here and they play classic Puerto Rican party jams. We grabbed some drinks (they have the seemingly ubiquitous Don Q Pina Coladas) and watched people dance some version of the salsa. The atmosphere felt a lot more like what we were looking for -- right on the beach, Spanish speaking only, something that's been around for locals forever. Beware the rickety stairs on the way down to the beach. We almost had serious injury there due to the one spinning step. And I'd skip the $1jello shots just on principle. We really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the really American focused bar down the way and this OG spot. Drop in here, grab a bev, enjoy the dark water and the big sky at night.

The local beer, Medalla, is $1.50. Or you can be brave and try one of the many tropical drinks listed on the board behind the bar. We got the "Biobay" for $6 each, and to me it tasted like $12 worth of booze (or at least that's was a super-boozy mix drink can cost in Chicago). We promptly spent our savings on the horse roulette game that everyone was playing. With a limit of two dollars per bet, your money won't run away too fast, and you might as well play because this is, quite literally, the only game in town. We were there a little early in the evening and saw a lot of people dancing the merengue. I'm guessing the dance floor only picks up as the night goes on. My friend commented that the glorious part of the establishment was that it felt more like a family place than a bar - old and young age groups were represented on the floor and on the tables out front. For me, this was definitely a highlight of my trip to Puerto Rico, and I plan to come back with my boyfriend soon to get on that dance floor.
