Country Fried Chicken, asparagus and sweet potato fries

Tucked into a plaza by Sunny Isle, it's easy to miss this place. Friendly service, big menu with a lot of specials. I had the country fried chicken, and that might've been the best gravy I've ever had. I might go back again today. Give this place a try on your drive back from the beach: it's off the beaten path but is as good (or better) than the downtown places!

Great food, great service, eco-friendly utensils. Delicious caramel macchiato. We had a kielbasa skillet, biscuit and gravy, breakfast bowl, chicken biscuit, and two specials -- Nutella French toast and not your basic b* BLT. Everything was super tasty, and the owner and staff were friendly and chatty. It is a tiny place, so it's not the best place for a party of more than 6. We were stuffed so got pastries to go. Can't wait to try them later. So glad they've navigated through the pandemic and managed to stay afloat!

Joe's was my first place to eat on the island and my last place. The food was delicious, the Cajun rice with shrimp, chicken and sausage was nicely seasoned, the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We also had the whole fried red snapper, so good you could have ate the bones. And your have to try the pain killer. The service was local hometown they treated you like family. If you visit St. Croix, you must stop in.

Great Restaurant in St Croix!! Or family of 6 were having lunch or dinner at this wonderful, cozy place. After trying reheated chicken, saggy pastas and even smelly meats in local restaurants, we found this gem unexpectedly. After our first dinner we ate there the next days of our visit to St. Croix!! Food was delicious and FRESH!! The portions were so big that many times we just shared and left satisfied. Reasonable prices compared to hotel restaurants and very friendly service!!. Every night was family night, Joe the owner is the nicest guy in the island. He was always making sure we were happy and even recommended the bioluminescence and the beach horse riding which turned out to be the best attractions of the trip. Try the Salmon with veggies or the fettuccine Alfredo, the juicy delicious ribeye or chicken parmigiana!! Worth it !! You won't be disappointed

Delicious! Small place that is hopping. Good coffee and big portions. Perfect bacon. Details: this place is always busy so a quick in and out is less likely. The kitchen closes at 11am. If you order ahead, your drinks will be made when you come in (I think that is a positive). Generous pour with the breakfast booze.

La Terrazas Bar & Restaurant is not your typical "Santo Bar". While they do have many of the traits, they also offer a lot more in terms of their menu options. To find them, leave Sunny Isles, drive past the traffic light heading south and you will find them 2 blocks down, on the left side of the road. Look for the open patio with a yellow food truck in the back. They have spacious open-air seating with enough room for a dancefloor too. Group seating will be tricky because they don't have big tables, but you can always combine the tables & tall chairs to accommodate your groups. Their bathroom is also very clean too. Although the staff speaks predominantly speaks Spanish, don't that deter you, because they have English menus. I recommend anything with their camarones (shrimp) & garlic sauce. Their tostones weren't half bad and their stew chicken was delicious. I also loved their mofongo (fried plantains) and mangu (boiled plantains). They also have a full bar and fair prices. I highly recommend their mamajuana for $5. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and recommend it if you're in the area and want a chill place to vibe out.

Fortunately for us,…read morewe got a great table in the grotto, and we were warmly welcomed individually by all of the staff. Service from top to bottom was outstanding. Attentive without being overbearing. And then there's the food and drink. First off, I love red wine and once upon a time amassed a pretty legit 800+ bottle collection. They had gems from my cellar on the list! On an island in the middle of the Caribbean! What?! I've not seen Turley on a wine list outside of the mainland in a decade, for example. And they had 4 different Turley options. Including one by the glass. Amazing. The food matched everything that preceded it; simply outstanding and captured a sublime balance of island and haute cuisine. The Lazy Lobster crawled mercilessly into our bellies, melded with plush mashed potatoes and perfectly al dente asparagus and a delicate sauce. The Lamb Shank masterpiece, served over gnocchi and the most wonderful au jus, melted over the palate, delivering a resounding umami "whoa" tingle. Both paired beautifully with our wine selections. Dessert was a rum strawberry masterpiece, complimented by one of the best espresso martinis we've ever had, and a generous pour of Angel's Envy bourbon. One of the best meals of our lives, anywhere, and we've been to some of the best restaurants on the planet. Maybe it was the sea breeze, maybe it was kismet, but regardless, we loved it start to finish and highly recommend Savant. We're no idiots!

I appreciated the recommendations that they had to offer on food and drinks (because everything looked so good). Some of the best service I've had on the island so far. Now finally, the FOOD!! You could tell it's was going to be good just from how the staff spoke about it. We had three appetizers (lobster egg rolls, ceviche, and calamari). Each were very unique and flavorful, great size for sharing, everything you hope for in good appetizers. For my entree I was torn between many different things, but with the help of staff I decided to go with the bacon wrapped double pork chop. And WOW I'm so happy I did. I always fear with pork chops of a dry, hard to chew meal but this was far from reality. The cut of meat was so juicy and easy to cut and chew. The flavor was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. For dessert I decided to go with a classic vanilla rum cake and it was perfect. I loved Savant, it was an experience from start to finish. 10000/10 recommend that you try this restaurant when on St. Croix!

It took 15 minutes to get water, the staff seemed disorganized despite only three tables, and we were repeatedly rushed to order because the kitchen was "closing." The food did not justify the high prices. A $60-$70 filet mignon was completely unseasoned and bland, with minimal sides. While the mussel appetizer tasted good, the broth was full of broken shells, making it unpleasant and unsafe to eat. Drink service was also poor: a second glass of wine was served in a small cup and spilled during a refill without any acknowledgment. Portions were inconsistent, and the overall experience felt careless. One dish, the grilled mahi mahi, was well seasoned and tasted good, but at $40 it felt overpriced for a common fish and came with overcooked, unappealing sides.
