I have an older Graco Spray Gun; couldn't find anything on the internet. Contacted Graco they don't carry parts but told me parts are available at most local distributor and if they didn't have them they can order them for me. I checked a couple places near me and no luck one fuy said 5o try this place because they specialize in painting tools. I came and they had everything! It cost me! I wish I can give them 0 Stars. Rude pepole I took my sprayer there at the beginning of June. Bill told me that it's going to take approximately 3 weeks. I called after 3 weeks and Chris answer the phone, I ask about the status of my sprayer, He said we did not get to your sprayer yet, I ask how much longer it's going to take? he said about another week, if you don't like it come and pick up the sprayer, that was his respond. I WISH I DID. About a week later they called me and told me that the sprayer is ready, almost $700. I picked it up and tried it the same day, same problem. I called them the same day which was on a Friday, I told them that the sprayer is not fixed, I took it back, they ask me if I strain the paint? This place is horrible it took me less than 1 minute to get a big F'u by the employee (Tall curly brown haired white guy) and walk out knowing I don't want to give a penny to these guys. I am not a full time contractor but I am licensed I have several thousand dollars in airless spray equipment that I use. I am not some clueless Joe off the street asking stupid questions to a company catering to professionals. Me- Hi I'm looking for a Graco HVLP spray gun, I'm looking for a lower end spray gun only. Emp- Never heard of 'Lower end" Graco Me- I'm looking for something in the range of about $150. Emp- Graco only make high end, followed by a blank stare of "your still here?" Mind you I am the only person in the store and his attitude and posture were that I was inconveniencing him with my questions. When I got home I did a search to verify that I was not asking a stupid question. What do I find, Graco Finex line of guns ranging from 120-200. There was no offer of an alternate brand, product, or you might try this other place. Aircold supply & Sherwin Williams are places I use that are great about if they don't carry what I want they suggest other vendors. read more

These guys have a tough job! When our equipment breaks down they take the time to try and trouble shoot it with us. If we can't troubleshoot it they do a pretty thorough diagnostic and fix the problem. It's easy to get frustrated with the messenger but they do the job right. My only complaint is that they do not do classes because if you ask questions and listen they will help you teach your crew to take better care of your equipment. read more

I value honesty more than anything when dealing with a technician in any field. Mark, Chris and Joe exemplify that. Great place to buy anything airless paint sprayer and pressure washer related. They have an incredible selection of guns, tips and hard to find atomizing agents. Above all they are the best skilled technicians when it comes to maintenance on paint sprayers and pressure washers. By accident one of my employees took a sprayer needing work done to the "Spray Shop", which is not Spray Mart! I had to figure this out the hard way. My sprayer was serviced at the spray shop, he used used parts saying they were new, then said its good as new. Not honest. Days later my sprayer was again losing pressure. I then took it to Spray Mart ll. Chris told me that a bunch of latex paint was wrapped around the piston. And anyone who replaced the packing should have seen this. I will never go anywhere else. I been coming here for years. Now one around here does this type of work. But to be honest I feel like doing so. Here's the deal these guys are the rudest individuals I have ever meet. To be honest I have to practically say nothing to just get out of there. They guys act like there always right and act like customers don't even matter. The reviews are correct this guy Chris is a real prick I rented a Titan from them got to the job gun gun popped apart I called him called him and told him about this he said what are you doing in my gun I said I wasn't in your gun it came apart I then had to stop what I was doing clean the machine bring it back get charged for 3 days and told I was the one that broke it cuz he checks every machine to the t B's this guy should be fired and I will be going back to get my money back. honestly, i cant say what all these negative reviews are about. of course they are older, so that may explain things. I can speak for the last year however. The guys working here are awesome and trained to the T. When you walk in you feel welcomed and you know you are dealing with people that are going to be able to handle your equipment. they have always been prompt and never hesitate to answer any questions or concerns I have with regards to the services they offer. the guys here are well trained. I think people get a misguided idea simply because they don't "look" a certain way, but they've got their stuff together. The pricing is more than fair, service is quick, and the staff is knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone. If I could give them NO stars I totally would the guys are super rude some tall skinny white guy with a bad haircut was super rude to my dad. My dad is a bit older and the nice thing to do is at least help carry the sprayer machine and help the customer out its not very light. My dad simply asked the guy a simple question and the guy seriously walked away nodding his head it's like? Really your getting paid if you don't like your job ? Don't take it out the customers! When we pulled up it smelled like weed probably some typical potheads if I was the manager ? I'd be getting rid of people before you lose more customers. I brought in a graco ultra max sprayer for repair. It was pleasant enough and they called a few days later explaining it needed a new pump and cost would be $300 repair. I told them to wait and I would decide. A couple weeks passed and I located a handyman who quoted me $220 for the fix. So I had my employee go in to retrieve the sprayer but he was informed it was a $60 charge for diagnosis. Which per my recollection wasn't mentioned when I first visited. So then I was slightly turned off and chose for more time to evaluate a decision. $300 was just a number I almost deemed not worth to put in a machine that purchased new for $700. Then like it goes, I got busy and didn't really ever follow up. I assumed it was a lost cause until a few months had passed and I received a surprisingly friendly voicemail reminding me about the forgotten machine. I actually was just considering purchasing and auxiliary sprayer so it was good timing to get the dropped off sprayer of mine fixed. I called Spray mart the first of the week and explained the situation. Obviously the employee who took my call(a complete 180 from the friendly voicemail guy) was having a bad day or was annoyed at my leaving the machine on their shelf for so long. From the get go this guy was seething and advising me that they could "just throw it in the trash". I ignored his curmudgeon attitude, and inquired about the machine and if he knew the current price of a new exact model. He said $550. Which I considered, and took his expert knowledge as fact. I told him I'd be down that week to pick it up then. He then pressured me for the day I'd visit. I replied, Saturday. He then jumped down my throat informing me -we aren't open on Saturday! Sheesh. Ok. I restated Friday would be the day. Next, I'm being talked to by this unhappy man like he's my daddy or something, even threatening me "if I don't show up it's going in the trash!" I was a bit flabbergasted at his escalation of this conversation. All I could think of to say was, "I guess you do what you gotta do" in a calm voice. This only sent this employee into orbit and he yelled into the phone -"what!! It's going in the trash now!!"followed by hanging up on me. I admit, it took a day or 2 for me to process this interaction. But I can't in anyway think of why I should've been talked to so rudely and belligerent. I also, wish I would've retrieved the tool considering it still retailed for $750 and not $550 that the spastic employee told me. Yea, "throw away". I'm sure their wasn't any parts on my machine to be sold or used on other repairs. Honestly, who talks like that on the phone to a customer? I thought they were a service company and this kind of customer interaction is common place. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Who knows. read more

I went to Spray Mart II on Lewis street to rent a airless paint sprayer. They were extremely rude and treated me as if I was an idiot, asking me if I had ever handled power equipment and telling me I could cut my fingers off If I wasn't careful with their paint sprayer. When I told them that I didn't like their attittude they refused to rent to me. I went to A tool shed, they gave great service and advice and I successfully spray painted my fence in a couple of hours. read more

First, let me say I am a full time contractor. My tools make me money--- so down time without them is not good. Spray Mart II personnel has NEVER let me down. The employees are courteous and knowledgeable. When i got my sprayer rebuilt, they were straight shooters and when they were done with my rig it practically sang. They keep replaced parts to show you what the problems were and always have suggestions on how to help your equipment last longer. Top notch knowledge and customer service! Went in to troubleshoot a leaking Titan sprayer. Chris and Looch immediately identified the problem as a damaged filter casing. The part was not in stock and I was urgent for a same day fix. So they went back to their repair shop and found a used one in good condition that they said would fix my issue. When I asked how much they said "it's on the house!" Wow, don't find that kind of service around much anymore. They just won my future business with one gesture. Unlike previous reviews, I did not have any problems here. I didn't catch the guys name in the front but he was very helpful in assisting me in terms of what airless sprayer tips I should use for my machine. Mind you I had never bought anything there before and it was my first time walking in there today. The guy took the time to explain to me what I should use and what other things I can get to make the job faster. This is my first time painting my house and I am glad that I came here because other stores that sell airless sprayers didn't have all of the information that I had questions about. Also they have some pretty good prices on used graco machines because they get them from the graco factory. I would check these guys out before going to any of the big box stores to purchase an airless sprayer. read more

I have been doing business with Spray Mart II since they moved to Lewis road and before. i have been a painting contractor in San Jose for 35 years. I can't believe some of the reviews i am reading, i have never received anything but exemplary service. I do see that most of the bad reviews are from "people" outside of the local area and are perhaps the competitions friends looking to nu-fairly mar a hard earned great reputation. I have also seen the way some contractors take care of their rigs and some of the crap they are expected to fix. so, maybe you get what you give. I was in there last week and watched the tall white guy help a guy who spoke no English. he not only fixed the guys leaking gun but, showed him how to fix it next time. I Don't believe for one minute that anybody was called a nigger and shame on the guy who said that and equally to the name callers. if somebody really does have true bad things to say they would not call people names. well i work for a local non profit organization here in town and last week we dropped off an old sprayer we had sitting around hoping it could get fixed. as it turned out it was too old and unrepairable or at least it would cost more then replacing it , so when we went to pick it up to dispose of it The owner took care of us and donated a machine to us , being a non profit that was so nice , the customer service and the timeliness of all these was super quick . very nice guys ....THANK YOU , THANK YOU , THANK YOU ! read more
