A special bolt wheel on my lawnmower snapped off and was beyond my capability of repairing it, so I took it Kings, and since they had it, I had them do a tune-up and blade sharping they also replaced a belt and cable. And in two days they called said it was repaired. But when I used it, for some reason the wheels were locking up and not turning for some unknown reason. They said bring it back they would take a look. Now it runs like a beast and they didn't even add some b.s. charge like some other places would have and say it was a different problem. I inherited a Toro self propelling push power that was working but when it arrived was not and I thought it might have been damaged in transit. Brought it to Tu at King's Automotive who checked the flywheel and spark plug as well as other parts and was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. He took me the same day I called (on a Friday) and it was ready on Monday before noon. Not only did he replace the starter coil, but on his own initiative replaced the gas tank which I pointed out was hanging with a zip tie! I also really liked that he saved the parts to show me! Price was reasonable (most repairs fall in the $65 - $95 range for this type of work). A few things to note: - Located off King Road in plaza with Wheel Works - Drive around the side and there are dedicated parking spaces - I like that they give you a physical yellow tag with their number on it Really top notch! Brought my power washer in for repair. Because these machines are unreliable, they reluctantly accepted it and performed a tune-up. After waiting a couple of months before I used it, it started up on the first pull and has run great ever since. It runs better than it has in years. Stay away from this place. I am completely disappointed with the service, and the lack of it. I walked in, and immediately, the employee was not friendly at all, and was a little rude. I asked if they can fix my rototiller, and he hesitated then agreed to repair it. When I picked it up, the employee still had an attitude, and told me that they were not able to fix it. He told me that it needs a new carburetor and that the pull start cord needed to be replaced. This is bull-sh. It was not broken, and I know that for a fact. This person lied to me and probably broke it while trying to work on it. He should have owned this, but this is not the experience that I was expecting! (You should probably look for other establishments if you want to avoid people with attitudes.) read more

I took my mower for a new cord when it was there they dropped something and broke the top plastic cover and stopped the start cord from working. When I got it home I called them and send them pictures, They refused to replace the cover because it cost $35 and that was too much for a new $250 mower. Stay Far Far away from this place, The better Business Bureau has reports on this business. Chase Bank has reports and id doing an investigation. Whatever you do don't go here, they don't take pride in there craft and cheat senior citizens! read more

I took my dad's mower over tow King's a fews month back to figure out why it had trouble starting. Tu (i think that was his name) was quick to help. He swapped the motor oil, air filter, and made a few adjustments and voila, my mower started like a champ. He even sharpened the blades for me while I waited. Great service, and knowledge. I had to run to the local OSH hardware store, because they don't carry a replacement mower blade for my electric engine lawn mower. However, the man was very knowledgeable and did not forcibly try to install the heavier universal blade I had previously purchased and brought to him. The man took the time to show me exactly how to install the new blade once I receive the correct one from Sears. After all of that, he did not even charge me for removing the blade from my mower! If customer service is important than stay away from them. They have good prices but they're horrible at trying to understand at what the customer needs. Robots have better AI than these people running this shop. Their translator/Salesman Tu gives you a condescending attitude as soon as you meet him. I went there because I needed a new cord recoil for my Toro lawn mower. The man behind the counter finds one for the back, out of package and sell it to me for 40 bucks. I get it home and attach it. Pull on the cord twice and the recoil pops out of its housing and the cord won't retract. I take it back and the same man who sold it to me and he tells me I'm the one who broke it and no refund or replacement, which if true would take some skill on my part. Whatever you do don't go here, they don't take pride in there craft. read more

I was very hesitant to go to this business after reading reviews and even then I took my Craft/Honda lawn mower on 9/10/17 to see whats is wrong with this business but I am very happy to write that I met MR TU PHAM on the front desk who educated and gave me a reasonable estimate. There was no communication gap, treated with respect and dignity. They changed air filter, sharpened and changed oil, put new carburetor for $73/-. Not sure how these guys stay in business. I brought in three machines for them to fix, within two months all the machines broke down again. Possibly because they used visibly old used parts. I went back and they said their service only has a one month warranty. They expected me to leave my machines and pay again! Horrible customer service the guy kept laughing and smiling in my face and by the end of our interaction cussed me out after I told him I would go somewhere else. I took my Craftsman lawn mower to King's when it stopped working after hitting a tree root, and they did a great job of troubleshooting and fixing it very quickly and at a very reasonable price. They were very honest from the beginning, telling me that based on the problem it may or may not be worth fixing, and fortunately for me it was something that they could easily fix. I also had them change the oil and air filter. My mower has been working great since I got it back several months ago. I'm really glad I found this place, and highly recommend it. read more
