The sandwich portions were incredibly generous, for only 12.99! The sandwiches are so big they could definitely split into two meals, which is even better! They also offer a meal deal where you get chips, a cookie, and a soda for 18.99. The sauces and vegetables on the sandwiches are amazing and flavorful. I thought the pickles and pesto mayonnaise were a remarkable combination. There's an outdoor patio area where you can enjoy your purchases. There's ample shade, and you will have no problem finding a seat. The sandwiches came out promptly. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to, especially for their dutch crunch bread!

The last sandwich I purchased had to be thrown away after I took a big bite out of it and pulled out a long strand of hair from inside my mouth . It was fully mixed in with the meat and I didn't realize it was there until I was already chewing on it. Unfortunately I won't be able to go there again for awhile from feeling a bit grossed out from this experience.

It was a more pricey lunch for 3 (luckily, one of the sandwiches was split between 2 people). But if you don't mind paying a little more for quality food, and much less than a restaurant, I think you'll be pleasant surprised at what you can find in the deli.

Hence why I stopped here one warm late afternoon despite having lots of food options in this downtown-y area. The Godfather ($15ish/5*) When I first try a deli I will usually try their Italian combo. It's a classic sub I love but honestly I find it hard to find an above average one. I'm not sure if the art of making one has been lost, but within the last decade or so, I strike out more than I get hits. Usually the meat to bread to produce ratio is off. Sometimes the meats are too salty/poor quality. Other times the sauce/dressing flavor is off. I am so stoked that I found a legit one here. They use prosciutto, mortadella and salami here, all my faves. I hate when a place uses American ham/cheese on an Italian sub. And all the meats are of quality, not too salty at all. Provolone was the cheese, textbook. I chose a sourdough roll and even though requires a good amount of teeth strength to bite off a piece and to chew, it was pretty damn satisfying. The interior is soft yet chewy. They definitely use a solid bread company. The bites were what I consider to be classic Italian sub flavors. No curve balls like pesto, red peppers or strong mustard. Just quality meats with great textures, fresh produce dressed in oil n' vinegar so it taste like a good salad. And the kicker that pleasantly surprised me were chunks of marinated artichoke hearts so this made you feel like biting into an antipasto platter just in sandwich form. So Damn Solid. Italian Sausage Sandwich ($15ish/4*). Even though solid I didn't love this as much as the cold sub. They ask what type of sausage mild or hot Italian. Chose hot, no surprise. They said this will take longer to make, like about 10 minutes. I chose a regular sweet French roll for this. Not as chewy as the sourdough roll, much softer but still has body. I liked the flavors of warm marinara with their unique sausage, quite classic once again. But the sausage they use is super thick like twice as thick as a common Italian sausage link. They do split it so it covers the bread but that sausage is one of the firmest textures I've ever had for a sausage. Sausage by nature because of the grind usually bites easily. Not here, I had to bite so hard that the meat couldn't stay in the bread. I think the casing was unusually tough for some reason. I eventually peeled it off. Decent flavors but problematic to eat cleanly. $35+ (after T&T) for 2 sandwiches seems pricey but really it is the new reality. 10 years ago this would have been about $20ish. Welcome to the new world order. Lol

Maybe going later in the day means the ingredients have been sitting too long, but either way, this sandwich was difficult to enjoy and ended up in the trash.

This hidden gem is located in a modern business park and although others have mentioned that the location is odd, don't let that discourage you from finding the epitome of a perfect sandwich. They use premium quality Boar's Head meats and cheeses so you know they are serious when it comes to quality. This place is great. The owner, Mike, is highly involved and actually works there every day. He cares a lot about the food he produces. I actually got to talk with Mike on a "slow day," only to find he actually has a college degree in restaurant management.... NO WONDER this place is so amazing. I have always enjoyed the top quality bread, cheese, and meat... finally found out that Mike sources as much as possible from local resources. So, you're not just supporting Mike and his sandwich shop, but also other local suppliers that enable him to make these great creations! Help support small business! Get away from chains that use GMO food sources and are all about fat profit! If you're in the area, you truly cannot go wrong with Spreadz!! Used this location for my very first time for a catered order and couldn't be happier! I was hesitant at first as I didn't know what they provide for a catered order. And then I hadn't received a response to a last minute change left on their voicemail. But Grace was excellent; she had already processed the order as described on my message. A call back would have been nice, but i'm not complaining; as the sandwiches were made and no wait was necessary! Everyone in the meeting loved the sandwiches!! I ordered a large and small platter and selected there Chipotle mayo on all the sandwiches. The crunch roll is the best!! Spreadz is the cleanest, reasonable & best place to do full catering. The owner & staff were outstanding, accommodating & went above & beyond a normal catering service would do for an event. Spreadz provided tables, chairs, linens, utensils, waitstaff, cleanup, etc. All we had to do was sit down and enjoy our event. The food was the delicious & the set-up was beautiful. I work close by this location sometimes. Sandwiches are fresh and good, nothing fancy just good old food. I like their dutch crunch bread, which I usually get with turkey and avo. The hummus was on the liquid side but has the hummus flavors. The butter chicken shawarma was creamy and had a good taste to it mixed with thin slices of chicken. Because. Every time I get there I just cannot not order one of these. That loaded burrito is the best bar none breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. So on a scale of deliciousness, this is an epic winner. I switch between the pistachio and coconut late because it is, again, delicious. Not too sweet (I don't like too sweet), and with plenty of that flavor. So many times have I ordered a coconut latte at other places to only have the slightest hint of coconut. Not here, no sir, these Lattes are truly flavored and flavored well. Easy parking. Open early, so I don't have to wait till nearly noon for breakfast, is just the icing on this cake. What a fantastic sandwich shop and drinks bar. I honestly thought I had written a review, so was surprised that I had not, so here it is. The place is clean. Large windows in the front for natural light. Quiet and calm. The seating is convenient and easy, although, and it's probably just me, but, my knees struggle for comfortable sitting since the table legs are in the middle of the table, so I tend to have to sit sideways, but, that's really not an issue since I'm not sitting there for hours. I got the chipotle chicken and the chicken itself was not the best cut of chicken because you still have a lot of tendon in there and fat so you can tell it's cheaper cuts and not like the chicken breast. Inside was clean and nice. It was not busy at all when I went and that was surprising for a lunchtime during the week. Ultimately, I ended up reading it lower because paying about $18 for a sandwich that was average.
