I went here for a foot massage which was good but then the lady started rubbing my back, in one place, ONLY, and it was sore for days! Yes, the guy at the front can occasionally be a little loud answering the phone, the door, etc, but it's a small price to pay for what you get. A little tip for newbies...tell the girl who is working on you soft, medium or hard before she begins. Medium is perfect for me. Hard is no joke. I bought a deal on Amazon and was also a little upset that their normal price is $20/hour anyway. The package I purchased came with a little more but it wasn't much. The scalp massage was amazing as well as the foot massage, however the arm and back massage made me want to scream. The pressure was way too strong for my liking and it kind of undid the benefit of the first half. All of the beds are in one room which I kind of liked because you could go with a friend and not be separated. I would consider going back, but specify that I only want light pressure. I should have spoken up sooner, but in my opinion if my shoulders are tensing up while you are digging into them, it should tell you to ease up a bit. read more

Bought the Groupon. Went in and the place didn't feel very clean. The beds were uncomfortable, while the towels we were laying on were itchy and rough. The massage was okay, but the woman barely talked to me, didn't ask me about pressure or anything. I felt like she was just spread oil on my back in the same motion, a majority of the massage. TALKED ON THE PHONE WHILE MASSAGING ME. At the very least, she could have stepped out of the room (which would have been rude, but at least less so). When I calmly brought this up after, she apologized, but also made excuses. She explained the place didn't have a receptionist atm since she was massaging me (I had asked for a female masseuse). I reminded her I had offered to come in another day if that would be more convenient for them/if a female masseuse wasn't available atm. It's not a valid excuse. This was the worst expierence ever. The person giving the massage did not seemed expierence in massaging. It was very painful and I am sure she was not licensed. I'm in so much pain at the moment. I should not be feeling like this. To top it off I did not receive what the Groupon said. Which was hot oil massage. She gave me a "massage" over a rough scratchy sheet, which created a rash on my neck from all the rubbing. The hot stones were placed for only 5 minutes and there were luke warm and there was only about 4 small stones. The whole service lasted 40 min wasn't suppose to be 60 minutes. She was all over the place it was not relaxing or pleasant. She kept leaving the room to go do idk what which explains why the time was cut so much. She left the room for some baby oil which she splashed over my back and started rubbing it in and slapping it in. Idk what kind of place slaps you around and calls it massaging. It felt kind of awkward when she was massaging she brushed my private area to fix the sheet to expose my thigh. Not to sound like negative Nancy but you can make your own conclusion if you want to go here. Over all the worst massage, the place is clean the rooms are all divided by a small curtain not really covering much. The floors are wood so you hear all the rolling stool and all the footsteps. Did an amazon deal for a foot, body, face massage with milk foot soak and tea (but was offered water not tea). Overall it wasn't bad, definitely doesn't compare to a massage in a nice spa, but good cheaper alternative. I wish I noticed the face massage part before because I wore make up and it definitely got massaged into my skin. But the foot massage was good and so was the back. She was a bit hard on my back but my fault for not saying anything. It's in a room with a bunch of massage beds and they close the curtains so it gets dark. Only thing is that the curtains would open if someone were to come in for their massage and disturb the atmosphere. They also play soft music so it is relaxing if you forget other people can be next to you. Some of the massage techniques were new to me, and felt weird (like when she basically slapped my foot softly over and over). The lady massaging me did take her time though. And I like that they will use a hot towel to wipe off the oil if they use it so you don't feel sticky after you leave. read more

Both times that I have been here, the man who is massaging me is getting up to answer the phone, dealing with the paying customers, etc. He must be the owner or manager. He makes up for it with extra time, but it gets very distracting to continue to start and stop. Foot and body massage is $20 for 1 hour, which is a good deal. I've been to many different foot/body massage places, and this place runs about the lower-middle end of the pack. In Claremont, I prefer Lavendar Spa, which also does the foot and body massage for $20 for 1 hour. read more
