Mr. Cort, the hygienist, is always calm, nice, and sweet, and the rest of the staff has also been wonderful. Unfortunately, our most recent visit with the dentist was very disappointing. My special needs son, who is autistic, nearly cried because the dentist could not get him to open his mouth for an X-ray. Instead of showing patience and understanding, the dentist became loud and pushy, saying, "He wont open his mouth, I don't know why he wouldn't, he's done this many times." His tone was not discreet, and the interaction left my son feeling scared and uncomfortable. My son almost cried while he was sitting at the chair. Even though my son has managed dental visits before, this experience has now made him fearful of going at all. It was very disheartening to see such little compassion for children with special needs. After years of loyalty, we will now be looking for another dental office--one that treats all children with kindness, patience, and respect.

I've had 2 teeth pulled (under anesthesia), 2 crowns replaced, a filling and cleanings. I love that I don't have to go to multiple places to get dental work done. They can make a crown in house that is great quality. They cost more money, but they come with a 5 year warranty! When having dental work done, they gave me eye protection to put on and lip moisturizer to keep my lips from drying out. In addition, they offer payment plans through smile generation. They also have a program where you donate $30 and they'll take $100 off of your dental work! Overall, I would highly recommend this office. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

On my way there, a major accident caused heavy traffic, and I immediately called the office to notify them that I would be about 15 minutes late. I marked the voicemail as urgent and also sent a text through their system so they knew I was coming. When I arrived, I was told the dentist (Dr. Jessica Ransom) had already left. My urgent voicemail was not checked, my message was ignored, and no one made any attempt to reach out to me. For an emergency appointment, this is unacceptable. More importantly, I felt extremely uncared for and completely dismissed. I was in severe pain -- the kind of pain that came on suddenly and required immediate help -- and yet I was not considered important enough for the dentist to stay an extra 15 minutes. The entire purpose of emergency dental care is to help patients who are suffering. Instead, I was left without an exam, without support, and without any consideration for my situation. Being referred out for a possible failed root canal during this kind of crisis only adds to the stress. A patient in pain should never be abandoned after communicating clearly that they are on the way. This was unprofessional, irresponsible, and showed a lack of basic compassion. As a former patient, I can no longer recommend this practice. The only positive part of the visit was the assistant who stayed and tried to help, but the dentist's actions overshadowed everything else.

I've made them my primary dentists since moving to this side of town and have no issues. They've even seen me on short notice after needing to change my appointment. What's best is they accept my insurance (Delta Dental). Dr. Mai even threw in an orthopedic consult on one of my visits. I also love that they text you reminders of your appointments. I'd recommend coming here if you are in search of a great dentist with a personal touch.

I have thousands of dollars worth of dental work in my mouth and it's critical to protect my investment with great dental professionals. Dr. Heft clearly knows her stuff. Her assistant, Jessica, is excellent. Kerry, the hygienist, did a thorough and careful cleaning. I can't speak for the other dentists, but it's a beautiful facility with modern technology. I would think you'd be in good hands with any of them. But I'll be sticking with Dr. Heft.

I have never been in a more painful dental chair in my life - and that includes the emergency room at Parkland hospital. I have not had any issue or problem with the chair at ANY other dentist. As soon as the hygienist finished the x-rays and reclined the chair I was in serious pain,both back and neck. I just have an average, 52 year old bad back, too - no serious spinal condition or neck injury. I can't imagine what being in those chairs for more than a minute or two would feel like for someonewho does. I was told that all the chairs there are the same. The hygienist was nice, friendly, and the desk was as well. I never met the dentist during my new patient visit, although I was told several times she was "on her way back to meet me". Even after I explained to the hygienist what the issue with the chair was, and was told there is no solution, she then told the dentist, and the dentist never made it back to my exam room. Again, a complete waste of time, and a huge, frustrating disappointment. Especially for a first visit to a new practice I was really excited about. The irony here is that I found this practice for my wife and I, and after some research, I booked both our appointments. This was MY idea. Hers was before mine, and she couldn't stop RAVING about how great the dentist is, his care and concern, his chair-side manner was awesome, how wonderful and helpful his assistant was,how great this office is, and we were both excited about my visit the following week. I was scheduled with the other dentist, and had the opposite experience. I can't help but wish I had been scheduled with my wife's dentist, I might have had a similar experience. Instead, I was treated like an afterthought, and ignored by the dentist who couldn't see her way to come to my exam and meet me, and address my concern with the chair. So now, my wife and I, who would have been regular patients at this practice (with a lot of work to be done), are going to find another practice.
