This place came highly recommended by my mother-in-law, specifically for their catfish. We tried the catfish, blackened whitefish, and garlic cheese curds. The fish was very delicious and didn't taste overly fishy or have that dirt flavor that poor quality catfish can sometimes have. The portions were very generous and there was a wide variety of sides to choose from. The food takes a while to come out but then you know it's fresh! The decor was interesting, as one side of the restaurant had a river/fishing theme (including a kayak suspended from the ceiling) and the other side was more typical bar decor. My sons and I eat here every year before a Cub Scout campout at Old Kia Kima. The service is friendly and the food is good. I don't know for certain - but it seems like most people dining here are locals enjoying a night out. It is worth checking to see if they have live music on the night you want to visit. read more

The restaurant atmosphere was so friendly and inviting to a non local. The prime rib was the best I ever had. My husband loves his fried catfish he said same thing it was some of the best. Prices were so reasonable. The owner has Amish store nearby with some great products. Make sure to go by both places. For an extra lagniappe, the restaurant had a couple The Duncan's playing music which sounded great. Overall excellent experience for new year Eve 2022. We've been coming to Cherokee Village for vacation since 1988. Now will be living there part time. The biggest thing missing in this area is restaurant atmosphere. Good food is one thing, but having a full bar and making an effort to create an appealing atmosphere is so much better. Beer is cold, menu is vast and reasonably priced, but this place differentiates itself (from other area restaurants) by creating a pub type atmosphere. My husband and I visited here on our quick trip to Hardy on a recommendation from our innkeeper! The atmosphere is casual and inviting. We started with the chicken skewer as an appetizer. For my entree I got the chicken tender dinner, which came with a loaded baked potato, a salad, and a veggie. Plenty of food! The baked potato was amazing! My husband got the cheeseburger and a beer. Place is really good. Family orientated. They had a solo artist finger playing which is cool. And staff was really nice. I did not get the waitresses name but she said her father worked there and they were both very friendly. We just left there. And they gave me a free apple pie for my birthday. 2.00 draft beers. Really like this place. Old gas station? Eat outside under covering. Because outside, were able to bring our dogs. Service & food were good, nice flight options. Only problem was flies, holy cow. We stopped in because of the "5 star" review it got at quick glance. It's pretty average. Clean place with down home cooking kind of choices on the menu. The portions were slim considering the prices and the salad bar was less than appealing. The waitress was nice but not attentive. Food was edible but nothing special. This place is incredible. Wonderful employees and management. We went in a group of 10 during COVID times and sat on the patio. Prompt service, management checked on us several times to see what we needed, as did our waitress. Menu is very reasonably priced for the quality of food. I highly recommend the gyro, chicken strip dinner, pork chops, and double cheese burger entrees. For sides, get hush puppies, WAFFLE fries, or Mac and cheese. read more
