I also get that curmudgeonly proprietors often come with the territory. That said, when you drop close to $75 on a new pipe and a local tobacco blend, you at least want to come away with some impression they are happy you dropped by, or appreciate you choosing their location over the several others in town, etc. Instead, my buying experience here held all the joy and personality of purchasing a pack of breath mints from a bored clerk at the local convenience store. I am, however, at least enjoying my new pipe and tobacco.

Marvin even gave me one of his own house made cigars, on the house, and even his cigars were great from what I love to smoke. This is a cool spot to wine down during the work week. I have only been on Thursdays and I must say…read moreits a cool vibe. The music, food, and games were on point. There are multiple sitting areas according to your vibe. The front area is where the DJ, bar, and tables are. So if you want to be in the in crowd I would say this is the best area for that. The other room is laid back. There are couches and chairs in that area. If you want to just chill and relax, this is the perfect area. In both areas there are card games and dominos going on. I also love that there is outdoor patio seating, sun room, tv lounge room. So when I say you literally get to pick your vibe I mean it. I also want to include that they have specials on different nights. For instance, they have Wine Down Wednesdays and Thursdays are Greek Nights. Everyone is welcoming, the food and drinks are affordable and tasty, and it's spacious. This is definitely a place I would go to for a get away for a break away from the monotony of the week.
