    Afternoon tea
    Priscilla K.

Food 3/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Stumbled on this place on Yelp! My besties and I were looking for an afternoon tea place in OC to hang together after our reunion and this was the perfect place to chit chat & enjoy afternoon tea like we did in Cambridge! Loved the extensive tea collection but the food quality fell a tad short. The sandwiches were okay, nothing special. The desserts were okay as well - we had quite a bit of leftovers. The tomato soup and fruit cup was good, but salad was not fresh and I saw lots of rotten greens in my salad. Wish they'd wash / pick them out more thoroughly. It comes out to about $36/person before tax and tip, which I think is quite a good deal! The location can be a little difficult to find because the space is actually a banquet/event space where they do weddings, celebrations, showers, and parties. There isn't an obvious sign on the outside that says this is "Spring Tea Garden" but once you walk in, you'll see signs leading you to the spring tea garden. They have their own large parking lot so parking is not an issue. If you're visiting on the weekend, I highly recommend you reserve a table a day or two in advance. The space itself looks very historic, quaint, and cute! Love how much natural lighting the tea room has to give it an organic brightness to the room. I'd come back again for another girl's get together or a mommy-daughter thing.

I did not host a big event here, but this would be a great event venue! I was here with nine other girls to have afternoon tea together. Because there were more than 6 people, we had to place a $100 deposit. We also had to choose the same tea package for everyone. The event coordinator recommended the Spring Tea Luncheon Package, which was $34 per person. Then we got two tea pots of three different teas for the table. The total charge included a 15% gratuity. -The sandwiches were the favorite of the group. The scones were huge and hard to finish. The desserts were meh. -We enjoyed the beach blossom oolong and vanilla almond teas. The lobby is beautiful with a piano, a display of teacups and teapots. They even have hats and fascinators that you can wear to take photos. It was easy to plan. I feel like the event coordinator is very organized. I would host events here because of this major plus. Another great thing about Springfield is they have their own parking lot, and there is plenty of parking! Turn into the lot from Chapman. There are stairs to get to the second floor, but there is also an elevator. Credit card/Apple pay accepted. Bathroom available.

My second time here with my lady friend. This place is lovely. We both love tea. I would rather be serving her tea. I really need to get a tea service, I have a uniform lol. I believe we both had the Spring Tea which comes with a tower of goodies. Everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed ourselves. My friend said there's several rooms and can have many events. Guys, this is a nice place to take your lady that I know she will love

I hosted my bridal shower here for 25 people and was given the Azalea room. The bridal shower package included tablescapes, multiple sandwich selections, 3 tea flavors, scones, and mini desserts. The packages are for 2.5 hour windows with 30 mins before and after to set/clean up. I was never given the included bride-to-be sash however everything else included in the package was provided! The staff was helpful when we could find them but stopped by for refills infrequently. I overall enjoyed my experience and would look to book my next tea-themed event here again!

this is such a cute tea house in downtown fullerton! it is great for a small group or bigger party (like a bridal shower). the location is a bit hidden - it is at the harbor blvd/chapman intersection on the second floor of a banquet hall. the staff is always really friendly and provides quick service. they have a really wide selection of teas, we are always able to find something we like. they have the classic tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. i really enjoy the sandwiches and scones, but wish the desserts were a little better.

What a FUN day at the tea house! From the yummy warm scones to the fabulous tea sandwiches - everything we ate was fantastic! The decor was so adorable, there was just a lightness about the place. We were not rushed with our tea and our server let us take our time trying everything. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Ambience is as you would imagine. So cute and light and open. Once you get to the actual tea room it looks so cute. Our server was very sweet, always checking if we needed anything, always making sure our experience was grand. The food was almost too much, but my favorite was the scones. They were huge and warm and delicious!

I recently planned a birthday party here and this place is absolutely beautiful. It was even more charming that I expected. It was my first time here so I was nervous, but the service was extremely kind and attentive. The booking coordinator was very thorough about explaining the packages and expectations. When we arrived to the venue, all the staff was friendly and sweet. We rarely had to ask for anything because they would consistently anticipate our needs and refill out tea. The tea selection was impressive - we chose the Jasmine Green tea, vanilla almond, and hibiscus raspberry and all were delicious. The desserts and sandwiches that were paired were also tasty. I would definitely come back and recommend coming here for afternoon tea or booking for a special occasion. The best part is there is free parking in the parking lot for all your guests!

Booked the princess party package for my daughter's 6th birthday in the bridal suite. Hands down, the staff were so kind and attentative. I provided some outside decorations, but the room looked lovely even without it! I loved the selection of food and teas.

I have been here about 3 times, and overall I have enjoyed the tea experience! Today's visit was for a mom's valentine exchange and it was a lot of fun and I loved using the bridal suite for a private tea room experience! The teas were very delicate and nice. We got the traditional earl grey, raspberry hibiscus and Almond Coconut Macaroon. Loved the teas, especially the coconut macaroon; it has soft airy aftertaste. The food is comprised of different types of sandwiches, but it is very light, so if you are a big eater like myself, you might want to make plans to eat more later. My friend enjoyed the desserts as there is a variety to try from, you can see what suits your taste buds. As for the service, they tend to be quite busy, so you may need to be proactive on asking what you need. But, they will do their best to fulfill your requests. I enjoyed my time here fun for a girls tea time

My sister and I enjoyed a cute little Galentine's date here on a Sunday morning. We had a reservation, but there was only one party alongside us at the time we were seated. They have 3 different options for Afternoon Tea which are the Spring Tea, Garden Tea, and Royal Tea options. We chose the Spring tea and quite enjoyed the sandwiches that included an avocado cream cheese one, caprese with pesto, chicken salad with sun dried cranberries, egg salad, and cucumber dill with cream cheese. They were all so tasty, but my favorite was the chicken salad with cranberries. It was the perfect mix of seasoning with the chicken and the cranberries added a nice touch of sweetness. I wanted more haha. The tier also included scones and desserts. I'm not usually a huge fan of scones, but these were so delicious. I believe they had raspberries in them and the additional fresh cream with jam on the side elevated the experience. Out of the desserts, my favorite was the tiramisu. We also got to choose a flavor of tea with our own pot. My sister enjoyed her peach blossom while I loved my earl grey. Overall, we had such a lovely time, staff were so friendly, attentive, and we'd love to return in the future with more family members!

We called and made reservations to come to high tea on the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. The tea room is upstairs and there was an elevator and ramp for accessibility. The room was bright and each teapot and teacup was so cute. We did the spring tea set and got teas with refills and several finger foods. The quality of the tea was great and the little foods were really good! It's a surprising amount of food and ended up being too much for us to finish so the workers provided boxes for us to take leftovers in. I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. Don't be afraid to dress up!

Instead, Springfield turned it into a masterclass in incompetence, broken promises, and stunning unprofessionalism, all while charging a premium price for what amounted to amateur hour. The audio situation: We were never told the venue's speaker setup was nonfunctional until the rehearsal. Had we not brought our own rolling speaker for the ceremony by sheer luck, our ceremony would have played out disastrously, with the music and the microphone output conflicting, coming out the same speaker. The upstairs mic and music speakers disconnected multiple times during the event as well. For a venue that takes your money without hesitation, working equipment should be the bare minimum. The missing groom's room: We were explicitly told the 4th floor would be available for the groom to use. The venue even said there would be champagne provided in the room. When I went to the room to change, there was another event happening and I was unable to get ready. I had no space to prepare and had to wait for the bride to finish changing in the bridal suite before I was able to change my suit, delaying the entire schedule. Unacceptable. Where was Shelly? By the time we sorely needed a coordinator, she had vanished. The cake cutting was late with no knife or plate ready past the scheduled time. The ballroom lighting wasn't set as planned and we had to get help from a different employee. Every time we sought help, we were passed between staff members with no answers and no authority. No designated coordinator, just Shelly, missing. The final insult: We lost a gift and a belonging of one of our guests. When a family member called to report it a couple days later once it was noticed, the staff member spoke back with slight laughter on the phone. We reached out multiple times and it took numerous methods of contact before we got a clear answer more than a day later that no items were recovered. Besides the slow response, the missing items were not the venue's fault. But, Shelly, for some reason, was severely offended that we had expressed any sadness at all regarding the missing gift and she made a retaliatory accusation implying our own friends and family had stolen them. Disgraceful. And this disrespectful and unnecessary accusation came immediately after she had apologized regarding how sorry she was about the level of service they had shown and how they had handled the event. The apology lasted a couple emails before it made us really reconsider whether it was sincere. The food was good. That is the only compliment this venue will receive from us. Everything else was a failure. Broken promises, absent coordination, and deeply disrespectful treatment when we dared to speak up. Future couples deserve so much better than this. Take your money elsewhere.

All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. For example, just a little bit of dill brought out a nicely grassy garnish. I enjoyed the caprese with pesto sandwich the most.
