Was very excited to try out the tea service here with some friends. We made a reservation as they are required on weekends but it was not nearly sold out for the two hours we were there for. From the outside you may not realize there's a tea room since it's part of a banquet center so they have multiple rooms people can rent out for different occasions. The tea room is upstairs to the right. Nice and spacious interior with cute decor. Several different tea packages to choose from and lots of tea to choose from. You can also build your own experience a la carte like i did. I had the lighter $20 garden tea experience with salad, fruit, and tea. I added on a soup which was tomato today and it was delicious!!! I'd buy it by the pint if I could. I also added 3 tea sandwiches and that was the perfect amount of bites for me. Service was a tad slow but it didn't really bother any of us since we were not in a hurry. Plenty of parking as well. read more

Celebrated a bachelorette recently and it was a wonderful experience to begin the celebration at Spring Tea. Because we were a large party, reserving a table in advance is strongly encouraged especially if you want a private room. Free parking is behind the white building and the tea service is upstairs inside the banquet center. The service was very accommodating and the menu selection was plentiful. Our table ordered the peach blossom (group favorite), spring jasmine, and earl grey fancy for the teas. The sandwiches and pastries were good however the standout was the scone. It was not hard or dry like the others and instead was soft and flat. Pairing it with the cream and jelly made it super tasty. There aren't many tea service locations around aside from Ch*** and Spring Tea deserves the support. Highly recommend! read more

Went here earlier this month for a bridal shower lunch for a small party. We were in a public tea room but it was great. Very bright and nice atmosphere with plenty of room. Noise level wasn't bad; everyone kept to their parties and didn't interrupt each other with their conversations. We were greeted by the hostess and seated at our reserved time. Our waitress and all the staff were very nice and friendly. Our party opted in for the spring tea option for each person. It was more than enough for us compared to other tea places we've been too! Everything tasted great and loved the tea options as well. This is a perfect place to have bridal shower, baby showers, or even just catch up with your girlfriends that enjoy having tea and chitchatting over little sandwiches and pastries. I love the high tea experience here! I went in a group of 5 for a bridal tea party, and we each got the Spring Tea set for $33 each. Their rule is for a group of 5, you can choose only 3 teas to share. Despite this limit (other places don't have limits), it wasn't a big deal for our group. Luckily, we all agreed on 3. All were great, and this is my rank starting with the best: Spring Cherry, Rose Petal, and then Peach Blossom. I was full by the end and had to take home a couple of the desserts. The finger sandwiches were amazing, especially the egg sandwich and tuna sandwich. The scones were big and delicious! The workers were nice and offered to take our group photos too. I had my one and only daughter's Bridal Shower in the Bridal Suite with the Bridal Package. It was a very important day to both me and my daughter since my husband and daughter's father passed away and he would not be able to be a part of any of her wedding celebrations. The experience was so terrible it was embarrassing and was the worst service I have ever had anywhere. I came at 1:00 to set-up for a 1:30 party start time. There was no one there to greet me. We had a party of 15 and the package came with bottomless mimosas. At 1:45 the only food in the room was a pitcher of water and some plastic cups. I had to go and find someone to bring the orange juice and champagne. They brought 1 carafe of orange juice and 1 bottle of champagne and even had to open two boxes of champagne glasses. My friend and I served the drinks. I had to ask for more orange juice and champagne. I had ordered and paid extra for a gluten free meal for one of the guests. Again, I had to ask where it was. It arrived 20 minutes after the other food stands were delivered. I also had purchased fruit platters for everyone, and they were never served. Again, I had to ask for them. They came when everyone was done eating. We had a cake delivered and they forgot about that as well. I had to ask them to bring it and serve it. No one seemed to have my information sheet. The person in charge acted surprised every time I told them something was not delivered. The head manager only called me two days later after I left a message for her. She had no explanation as to why the experience was so horrible. I spent just under $1,000 and it was nowhere near worth it! And they made me pay 5 days beforehand. I got a refund of $114.43 for the fruit platters. Beware of booking any event that has meaning in your life. read more

I loved the experience here! I went on a Sunday afternoon after lunch with my aunt, sister, and mom. It was such a wonderful girls' date! Everything is so cute. We ordered the spring tea package and individual tea pots. Now, let's talk about the tea. Each of us ordered our own tea sets, which came with refills. It was so much fun trying all the different flavors. I had the apricot (decaf), and my mom chose the almond coconut macaron (also decaf). I have to say that my favorite was the almond coconut. I added oat milk and sugar, and it was incredibly delicious. Each of us drank two full pots of tea! I kid you not; we went to the bathroom no fewer than three times during our two-hour time limit. In terms of the little sandwiches and sweets, I really enjoyed them. I was quite full from the lunch I had earlier that day, but I couldn't pass up on the desserts. The pumpkin dessert was my favorite! It was super flavorful and not overly sweet - the ultimate compliment for a dessert, especially coming from an Asian person. My friends hosted my bridal shower here at Spring Tea Garden over the weekend. We had this Bridgerton theme going so some of the girls went all out while others dressed for Afternoon Tea, which was great. We had the Bridal suite to ourselves, as we had 10 people. I was asked which colors I wanted so I chose lavender and silver. I arrived early and found parking in the adjacent lot. There were several parties going on at once so they had signs out front along with a security guard directing people. Our party was located upstairs. The linens were set along with settings in lavender with silver chairs. This room had a private bathroom which was great since we didn't want to be wandering the halls in search of a ladies room. My friend brought a gigantic sign for me that she had made. One of the staff stopped by to ask when we wanted to start food. Our time in the room started at 1:30 and we had until 4 pm or so. We decided on 1:45 pm as we had a few stragglers on the way. The platters of food was brought out first and then the teas. We had Apricot, Vanilla Almond, and English Breakfast tea. The platters had five types of sandwiches, scones, a variety of bite-sized desserts, cream, and jam. The package they chose also came with mimosas but they were late bringing that in for us. Service was great and we had the room to ourselves once everyone arrived. The servers were nice enough to take a group photo for us as well. I was happy to be among some of my best girlfriends to celebrate this stage in my life. This was a lovely bridal shower and I'm glad I was able to spend an afternoon here. Pricing can be found on their website but I believe they paid for a package with an initial deposit for the room. Came here to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday. I love the venue! It was previously a Masonic Temple and has converted to a tea room and banquet hall. Apparently this place is popular for bridal and baby showers. When we arrived on Sunday morning, there was a church having a service in the ground level. We went up to the second level to check in and saw the cutest area with tables covered in lavender tablecloths with cute tea settings, and and area with merchandise for sale. The menu is set with 4 different options (plus one for kids), and you can pick depending on how much you want to eat. We selected the Spring Tea ($31 per person) which includes, a scone, five tea sandwiches, 3 desserts and a pot of tea. The tea options were plentiful and with our party of 5, we could select up to 4 pots of tea. I loved that we could stay as long as we wanted (they didn't encourage us to leave after a certain time frame), and they happily refilled our tea pots so that we could continue to drink and chat. Sandwiches were tasty and beautifully presented. The desserts were the prepackaged & precut kind, and because we had a party of 5, there were a lot of options to taste. But my least favorite item were the scones. They tasted good, but they were just so darn crumbly to the point that it was annoying. When I cut into it, it broke into pieces. When I tried to put cream and jam on a piece, it would shatter under the knife. When I attempted to take a bite, it would crumble in my mouth with pieces falling into my hand and onto my plate. I looked like a two year old trying to learn how to eat. It was a mess. We were all pretty unsuccessful trying to eat it elegantly and gave up. Hopefully it was a one time fluke. Otherwise this is a lovely place to enjoy some time with friends. There's even a hat wall if you want wear one for fun! read more

This is my second visit to Spring Tea Garden and I was very pleased with the tea and food that was included with our package. However, my experience was watered down because of the server who was very monotone throughout. Her name is Jenny and rather than elevating the ambiance, she seemed very bothered from the start and only checked in as food was brought out. My tea cup was shattered from the bottom and leaked and when it occurred, no one was accessible so my boyfriend had to get up from his seat to notify someone. I would've wished there was more courtesy to check in regularly as I had to get up again after that because we asked for a box and 20 minutes later had gone by and we hadn't been helped although there was only two other small parties at the time. The experience would've been ideal with a more attentive and high spirited server. read more

Pros: I held my bridal shower here in the spring of 2025 and overall I had a great experience! Everyone I talked to in scheduling my bridal shower was kind and helpful. On the day of my bridal shower, everyone agreed the tea sandwiches were delicious and the tea was great! Parking was also easy, and there was an elevator. Cons: Cleanup was a bit stressful because you only have 30 minutes to clean up. My bridal shower was in the 1:30-4 PM time frame, and when we were leaving, security was outside because they were prepping for a Quinceañera. I think it would be better if there was more buffer time between events so that cleanup is less stressful and guests leaving aren't confused by security presence for nighttime events. read more

This was a good experience for a relaxing Sunday. On the day of- sandwiches were pretty standard but not bad, scones are huge and very buttery! The tea selections were good as well. Service was ok. I had my daughter's birthday at Spring Tea Garden for about 54 people and was very pleased with the overall experience! Prior to booking, I spoke to Shelly who kindly explained their various packages which are charged on a per person basis. She then set up an appointment for us to come in to tour the venue. The venue is 4 stories tall and there are various rooms available depending on your party size. We ended up with "Carnation Hall" which seated all 54 of our guests (and could comfortably seat much more). Their parking lot is quite spacious with an added bonus of free parking. On the day of the event, we had a 2 hour time slot, with 30 minutes of time beforehand to set up. The friendly staff brought in the food and I was really happy with the setup. The food was served buffet style and was an assortment of delicious finger sandwiches, my favorites being the egg salad and chicken salad, along with an assortment of mini cheesecakes, scone halves and some raspberry jam and clotted cream. I was also able to select 3 different tea flavors which were set up in porcelain tea pots on each table for guests to self-serve. Spring Tea Garden made everything so easy and I'd definitely come back for a non-event to try their high tea service! My only disappointment was how the final invoice was handled. Prior to reserving and putting down the deposit, I knew we would have a handful of babies (all age 2 and under). I asked if there was a charge for babies/toddlers and was told there would be no charge which I was pleased to hear since it's not like the babies could eat anything anyways. The initial invoice reflected only the headcount estimate for adults so I assumed the final invoice would as well. However, when I went to pay after the event, I was surprised to see I was charged a "Kid's price" of about $21 for each baby/toddler which was truly a bummer because this is not what I was told so just something to note if you're looking to hold an event here! read more

I would like to start off by saying that I did have a beautiful baby shower at this location and most staff was friendly and very helpful during the baby shower to make sure we were never out of drinks and provided assistance the entire event. It really was a great turn out and at the end of the day I'm happy with the decision to have it here. There were some minor things that frustrated me. There are multiple staff members involved and they are not on the same page. I originally requested a date in May for my event and paid the deposit. A week prior I went in to discuss multiple dates and was told all dates in May are available. A day after t my deposit was paid, I was called and told that my date was double booked and I needed to move my date. Being reasonable I understood mistakes happen so I decided on another weekend in May. I was then told May was completely booked. My choice was left either to move to April or June. Saturdays were all booked so now I had to move my event to a Sunday in April. Once again I worked with it because no harm. In planning my event to go over set up details, one associate gave me green light on a couple things only to find out a few days before my event another associate told me it was not possible and therefore leaving me to rearrange seating a couple days before my event. With that said I had to give my final numbers and details so on the day of my event, I had to take time to set up the seating arrangements how they were needed because the venue had them set up from a previous plan that was no longer going to work for me. Once again it is what it is. What really pushed me to the edge to write this review was this part. At the end of the event they give you 30 mins clean up. This is a baby shower with lots of gifts and cute girly decor. There was multitasking and last minute photos being taken in between while waiting to take more gifts down to the car. One of the associates saw how much stuff we had and due to our friendliness with the staff, they let us know that we can have until 4. Around 3:20 Mia ( associate) and her team were continuing to pick up tables and trash and rudely told us to move from a table. Then when I was attempting to take a photo with my grandma, she then came over and very rudely told us to move. "Just move , you need to get out of the way" is what she said. We walked away from her and while standing inside she comes over to me and said "we are going to charge you for an extra hour because it's 3:45 and almost 4. " She then continued to say "who is paying the bill so you can walk down with me to take care of it right now" scolding me like I'm a child in trouble in front of guests! It was the most unprofessional thing. I walked down with her to the office space and explained that I will not be paying an extra hour because an associate had told us they would provide until 4 since they saw all the stuff we had to take with us and we are on the 5th floor. I then explained I will take care of the bill with my husband's card but he's busy putting stuff away as we have been doing. I did not appreciate Mia's attitude and her lack of hospitality. No guest paying money to have an event should have to deal with that. All other encounters were friendly and accommodating. Just very sucky for her to ruin it at the end and after a beautiful shower, she is the reason I left with such a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I am a big fan of afternoon tea & have tried many places all over socal in search of the best one after developing a lifelong love of afternoon tea while visiting London/the UK a few times. So far, this is my favorite ! The decor is a delight and the service was great. The scones were not too sweet and the sandwiches were delicious. I was too full to eat the accompanying desserts so I was able to save them for later which was a nice treat. And I really appreciate that you get a salad and fruits with this afternoon tea instead of just more sweets. It is a nice balance. I also had never seen green chai, which was a fun discovery and delicious tea. The only thing I would change is that I wish they served real clotted cream, but that's very rare to find in the US. I plan to come back and bring my friends and family, & I also hope to have a reason to host an event here some time soon ! read more

Came here for English afternoon tea as I have been craving for it throughout the pandemic. They offered outdoor/ balcony dine in. The owner is very friendly that she was willing to take my reservation when I called ahead of time. It was a very windy day, and the owner offered me a table on the second level by the patio door. She reassured me that the patio door would remain opened. The environment is very cute. It gives me a cottage feeling. The food was decent. I am not going to complain as they were the only English afternoon tea place that is opened during the pandemic. One thing to mention is that they are not as traditional as I thought. For example, tea bag was used and there was no tea strainer. Also, no milk or sugar was offered. Price was decent. Server was attentive.
