Poor customer service - do not do your dry cleaning at Spring Valley Drycleaners. When I dropped off the dry cleaning, I confirmed that it would be ready that day. They said my dry cleaning would be ready by 4:00 PM. I stop by around 5:00 PM to pick up my dry cleaning, and it was not ready - I needed to come back the next day. I told them that I could not come back the next day, because I was traveling out of town. The cashier said what do you want me to do? I told her that I wanted to pick up my items and get a refund. She told me that they do not do refunds. I asked to speak to the manager, and she said he is tomorrow between 11 AM - 2 PM. read more

I've never been treated as rudely as by the older woman at the front desk. She tried to give me someone else's clothes first, then suggested it was my fault. I noticed shortly after leaving that I was missing 5 shirts. When I returned, she basically said I was lying, that she'd already given me everything, and that she was too busy to even look. I finally got another coworker to get me a manager. The manager was able to find the missing 5-shirt bag after looking for about 30 seconds. The woman never apologized or even acknowledged me again. Unfortunately, there were only 4 shirts in the bag, and the 5th was never found. The manager handled it well, and eventually gave me a fair value for the missing shirt, but I would never return after the way I was treated by the older female employee. read more

I wish I could give this company a zero star. It changed from Shelton family which was great to spring Valley with a new ownership. The owner is absolutely unprofessional. They have been damaging and loosing our clothes and not taking responsibility. Please do yourself ,time and money a favor and take your clothes somewhere else. read more

I'm so sad this place changed owners. I loved the old Shelton Family Cleaners, but new management and new employees have no concept of customer service. I went to pick up my dry cleaning today and they couldn't find half of my clothes on the first rack they checked. Instead of attempting to find them on another rack, the lady told me I would need to come back later because she had other customers to help and it would be too much hassle for her to have to look other places. I explained that I needed my clothes and could wait a bit (thinking she would continue looking). Instead she moved on to the next customer and left me standing there for an additional 15 minutes as she ran around finding other people's' clothes. She finally started searching again but told me I would need to help her or else it would take her a very long time. She actually had me sifting through other people's clothes myself at one point. This is truly the worse cleaners I have ever experienced. They have now ruined 3 items I took to have cleaned. The white pants I took to have dry cleaned were returned completely wrinkled. When I took them back they WASHED them! $350.00 designer white pants completely ruined. When I saw the black pants, $200.00, I couldn't believe my eyes. The pressed them completely flat and used so much sizing the "pleat" they created was beside the side seem creased so hard I can't even iron it out. I have given them several opportunities to professionally clean my garments, but each time it is clear these people don't have a clue how to properly dry clean clothes. read more

Formerly Shelton Family Cleaners, the new owners are terrible. Prices have gone up and the service has gone down! Employees working the front are rude. There are NEVER enough employees working the front during peak times (early AM and after work/pick up). Last time I used them I waited in a long line, out the door, and in the drizzling rain because I had to have same day service. Not a single apology for the wait was given to any of the customers. I really like their location, but not enough to continue using them. read more

I am giving this establishment one star because I cannot give it a zero. They damaged all my shirts and I asked to speak to the owner. A man named Rahim presented himself as the owner and told me that his company is not responsible for the damage to the shirts and that the reason they are now stretched out of form is because I lost weight. I have been the same weight since I graduated from high school ten years ago. The shirts fit well before taking them there, and when they were returned they went from a slim fit small to an XL. He was defensive and shaky when all I asked was if the dry cleaners would simply accept responsibility and either fix the shirts or pay for them to be fixed. He refused to do either. Trust me, these people will damage your clothes and get defensive with you after ruining your clothes. You will end up paying more money to replace and/or repair your clothes. And please do not trust them with anything of sentimental value. After they damage something irreplaceable they will just blame you for it and not take responsibility. I used this location for a while when it was under the Shelton name and the new ownership is disappointing. read more
