Scenic course up in the Milpitas hills. Not too difficult to get to despite it being tucked away in the hillside. The course itself is well enough maintained and the views are gorgeous. Had my first experience playing here one weekend in winter and morning tee times were delayed due to frost. The staff were very good about keeping track of and rearranging groups based on who was still there by the time they could start sending groups out. There are a few holes where you can't see the fairway when you're teeing off (due to the hilly terrain) so just be careful that you're not hitting into the group ahead of you. The course is walkable, but seemed to be uphill both ways! The par 5s are long so you're for a trek (or at least a good workout!) if you decide to walk instead of ride.

We've been playing golf around the Bay Area and we just came across this golf course in Milpitas. While driving to this place, we noticed the hills and mountains in front of us. We thought that we will encounter a lot of hillsides and slopes and will make this a challenging course for us We didn't have any problem checking in and we started our tee time on time at 11:37 am. While playing, we found out that this is a flat course. Its fairways are wide open and the greens are well maintained. For par 4 holes, the yardage is not that far and can be reached in 2 even though you're not a long hitter. There are only a couple of par 4 that are more than 400 yards. For par 5, it's also reachable in 3 or 2 and has a better chance for a birdie or par I liked the layout of this course and for a weekend golfer, you'll enjoy every hole. The pace of the game is not bad. Since we played on a weekday, you'll see several players on the course but except for a few delays on Par 3 holes, our group was moving at a regular pace. We finished the 18 holes in 4 hours and we thought that it was an average time to play 18 holes Compared to the other courses we played, we rate this place as an 8 out of 10. The rate is reasonable and the golf shop was professional. Our group enjoyed our play in this course and we decided to include this as one of our regular courses.

No pace of play enforced, seems only interested in keeping tee sheets filled! Overall a good course well maintained

slowest pace in the southbay - zero phone reception so playing hooky is OUT of the question.

I didn't get a chance to take a stab at the course itself (not yet!) but I had a lot of fun around the driving range.

Came here with the Fam for a birthday party for one of the Little One's school friends. I swear I haven't been to Golfland in probably 20+ years (maybe even closer to 30. That's how old I am). Glad to see it's still up and running and still a lot of fun. Young children are still a bit too small to really enjoy mini golf, or laser tag, but they had a blast running around and playing the video games. It's great to see that some things about this place haven't changed. The host of the party also purchased game cards for everyone, and each card came loaded with 100 credits. Dang! that's a lot. They were only valid for the video games, and none of the ticket or prize games, which honestly makes sense, as buying in bulk probably comes with a big discount, and no arcade wants you racking up a mountain of prizes off a party package. Still, it worked out fine because the little ones had a blast on the video games, and I even snuck in a round of Space Invaders myself ;) Even for Golfland, I can't write a review without mentioning food. Yes, it was party food, but I'll try to be nice: - Pizza: Cheese, chicken, and Veggie. Choices were great. However, the pizza quality was pretty mediocre. Akin to Little Caesar's. I'd say Chuck E. Cheese, but honestly I've never tried theirs so can't really say. - "Famous Thick Shake": I did go rogue a bit and purchased my own order of this shake that they advertise on the posters. First thing you notice? The size. It's huge! They offer a small and a large, but the "large" is about three times bigger for just $1 more. And that's how they get you to buy the large. At $9 vs. $8, of course you wouldn't order a small! The "shake" is really more like soft serve ice cream in a cup, almost like a McFlurry. I wouldn't try sucking it up through a straw though. That's futile. You get to choose three toppings. I went with two: cookie dough and coconut, which kind of makes a coconut chocolate chip cookie? It was pretty good, though way too much for one person. The Mrs., The Little One, and I together couldn't even finish it. Of note: the receipt labeled it as an "IG Thick Shake," which made me curious. I assumed IG meant instagram. So I hopped onto Instagram and searched "Golfland Thick Shake" to see what the hype was about. Let's just say the search results ended up being NSFW. Not what I was expecting. Overall, Golfland is still a solid spot for birthdays, family fun, and nostalgia. The food isn't why you come, but the golf, games, and sweet treats definitely make it worth the trip.

If you're a lefty make sure to ask for lefty golf clubs right away before starting the timer. Went here to celebrate my invisible friend's birthday. Invisible meaning he no call no showed but I still celebrated and his party was still fun without him. Brandon, the bay host, made sure of it. He was very attentive & kept us smiling. We ordered the flat bread appetizer & a pitcher of beer. I really like that the pitcher had an ice block that doesn't water down the beer but keeps the drink cold. The flat bread was okay the cheese was just a bit too rubbery for me. The smores dessert was sooooo yummy! It was a freshly baked cookie with toasted marshmallows topped with vanilla ice cream and a grahm cracker. We played the angry birds game. it was a fun way to gain a bunch of points. If you reserve ahead they will charge you a fee to hold your reservation & they will not refund you or put that money towards the tab but you will have a bay ready for you at the time of your scheduled reservation. If you make a reservation you are committed to that time with a 15 minute grace period. They do not let you reschedule your reservation for a different time. Love this place. Very clean cute 3rd floor was a fun level to swing from. All three floors had nice bars clean bathrooms. There's on site security.

We had a team offsite here recently and ended up with two of the middle bays up on the 3rd floor. It was nice to be right in the middle for the golf. It was perfect for a work event because everyone got into the friendly competition...even folks who have never played golf. You just log into the tablet at the bay and pick your games - it was hilarious watching everyone try to outscore each other. Food-wise, it's pretty standard bar food, nothing too special but it does the job for a group. We ordered a big spread of pepperoni pizza, nachos, wings, sliders, chips & salsa, and some shrimp. The drinks were solid, though. Most of the team stuck to beers and margaritas, but I went with my usual Old Fashioned (had one with Bulleit and another with Woodford) and both were well-made. Parking was super easy since they have a huge lot. The EV charging stations happened to be out of service when we went, but it's good to know they actually have them for next time. Overall, it was a fun team event and I'd definitely come back.

Love his place and would play it every week, green fee's are not offensive either when you consider what neighbors down the road on the Monterey Peninsula are charging these days. Spanish bay remodel is rumored to be over$650.00 PP when completed. I'm sorry but as a local, I'd rather play HMB hands down, save the cash and commute headache and you should too!

As someone who plans large company events while juggling a full-time job, I know how stressful it can be to find a space that checks all the boxes: an impressive venue, efficient and friendly staff, ample entertainment options, and reliable vendor connections for everything from catering and music to photo booths, balloons, and even stylish furniture. Club Sportiva delivered on all fronts. Working with Emma, their Event Specialist, was an absolute pleasure. She is a true professional--organized, responsive, and incredibly flexible, even when we needed to make last-minute changes. Emma coordinated seamlessly with all our vendors on the night of the event, managed her team with ease, and regularly checked in with me to ensure everything was running smoothly. She stayed until the very end, making sure every detail was handled and that I, as the planner, could actually enjoy the event too. We hosted over 250 guests, including families with children, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, the only complaint I heard was from a child who didn't get one last turn on the car simulator before their parents said it was time to go! Club Sportiva was the perfect choice--elegant, well-organized, and versatile. They helped us plan an unforgettable, fun, and well-executed event within our budget.
