This location has the unique advantage of a large putting green and chipping area to practice my short game in addition to their spacious 4 full simulator bays. I was finally able to check out Sandbaggers Golf Spot, and it lived up to what I was hoping for. The location is super convenient, tucked into a business parking lot with plenty of easy parking. Inside, the place is clean, modern, and well laid out, with multiple simulator stations. The golf simulators work really well whether you want to play a full 18 holes or just hit balls like a driving range session. Everything ran smoothly and felt accurate. One of the biggest perks for me was how quickly I could warm up and get into a rhythm. Not losing balls, no walking between shots, no waiting - just focused practice and play. It's perfect if you want a fast, efficient golf session without all the extra time that comes with a traditional course or range. Super cool spot! Very affordable per hour for the rental of a bay and gives great shot feedback. Was looking for somewhere to golf with my girlfriend, this place was great for both of us working on our game. Highly recommend! This place was a ton of fun! I just got back from a party here, and while it initially seems like a place for only adults to enjoy, my whole family had a blast! Full disclosure: I came for a kid's birthday party, and every one of them seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed it (at least the ones who were at least of crawling age)! One of my sons literally said on the car ride home: "I didn't expect it to be so fun!" In addition to the super high tech golf simulators, they have carnival games like bowling, ski ball, and knocking down the targets for the kids to play using golf balls and clubs. They had other options but I didn't get to further explore. The area for the plethora of kids to eat was comfortable and spacious. Parking was not an issue. Everything was also very clean! The party went very smoothly, and the hosts seemed to have all the amenities and necessary tools to run the party smoothly. It was nice to not feel rushed to go from eating to playing, as we all got to do either at a leisurely pace (unlike MANY birthday party venues). As long as the kids are properly monitored (eat in designated areas, stay behind the line when someone is swinging their club, etc), I felt like this was a brilliant place for a birthday party (kids present ranged from 2 months to 13 years old)! The party also included a piñata, which was a super fun way to close out! I got to chat a bit with the owner himself. Super friendly and nice guy! I'm actually now thinking of having my kid's birthday party here in the later part of the year. Super relaxed and friendly environment, yet with really great golf simulator technology. They have free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate and great prices. My family originally wanted to go to top golf but it often requires at least 2 hours and it's so expensive! We were able to play for an hour here (and add more time as necessary) and it was so much cheaper. I had a great time here with friends recently! I've never played golf before, so I wondered whether this place would be fun for someone like me who has zero golf skills. I was happy to discover that you can have a fun time here no matter your golf skill level. Our group had both adults and kids, and everyone had a good time. Besides the four simulator bays, Sandbaggers also has a cornhole area off on the side as well as a large putting area. They allow you to bring in food and drinks and receive food deliveries. There's also a vending machine on site for snacks if you like. Some of my friends educated me on several of the advantages of using a golf simulator: 1. You don't have to go chase/find your ball. Instead of a ton of walking, you can just keep swinging. 2. You never lose your ball. 3. You have an objective measure of how far your ball "goes" since the simulator calculates that for you. 4. You don't get sunburned and don't need to apply sunblock. 5. You don't have to change your plans when it rains. 6. You get detailed swing analysis (speed, spin, etc.). Admittedly this sort of thing was irrelevant for me since I was happy just to make contact with the ball at all, but I assume the analysis is useful for experienced golfers looking to improve their game. We came with a big group -- a handful of adults and a few young kids -- and it worked out perfectly. The simulators all ran smoothly, and the large putting green was a huge win. It kept the kids entertained in between shots while the adults played. It was a really fun, relaxed way to hang out as a family, learn the game together, and even try out some new Christmas gifts. Was able to check out Sandbaggers last month with my boys. I'm a noob when it comes to golf, so I definitely appreciated that the place didn't feel pretentious and was actually a lot of fun. The layout is very spacious as well, making it a great option for a team offsite or group activity. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to providing guidance on how to use the simulators. It seems like a great value and a solid way to build up skills before duffin' it out on the links. Oh yea the kids had a great time too! Definitely recommend checking this place out. I visited Sandbaggers recently with no golf experience, so I didn't know what to expect. I learned that golf is surprisingly hard as I missed the ball quite a few times. That's where simulators become handy. You don't need a huge bucket of balls to practice, you only need a few as collecting balls is trivial since they don't fly far away. The simulator can tell you your distance and angle, allowing you to adjust between swing attempts. Also, when you swing pretty hard, you can hear a fairly satisfying THUD as the ball strikes the carpet material behind each bay. read more
