SPRINGFIELD FORD FELT LIKE FAMILY! Walking in to Ford felt a lot different than walking in to Jeep, my former SUV home of ten years. When I walked in, I was greeted by Justin and Gayle. We immediately started talking about where we were from, some of the people we all knew, and it felt so casual and welcome. Gayle and Justin kind of tag teamed my truck buying process, and it was great! They were open to showing me multiple trucks, in all different colors, with different interior and features to find what worked best for me. Once we found my new truck, and discussed price, I met up with Midge. She was so personable and easy to deal with. The financial side of car buying can be stressful, but she made everything clear and easy to understand. She explained different packages to me and I signed up for those that would fit my needs best. After the car was detailed, John came outside to show me how to work the new system and helped me set up the app features. I went back the following Monday for some items I left behind in my Jeep, and John and Gayle both were close by offering to help me with anything I needed. Ibought a 2021 Subaru Ascent from Springfield Ford. Did not realize till I left, the front tire was low. I filled it from 24 to 33 as tire recommended. In 2 days low tire signal came on again. Then realized there was not a manual in the car. My fault for not checking the glove compartment. Called Springfield. Spoke with Angela who was kind , said her team would work on the issue of no manual and the low tire pressure. Took the car in for a check , no issue found. Just went to tire dealer. Needed 2 new valves on the front tires. I did buy a manuel on ebay for the car. I do like the car Subaru Ascent. Has all the safety issues I wanted. My old 2018 Forester with 67,000 miles was making strange noises. Air conditioner was not always blowing cool air. I see my car on their site for sale. Would not buy it. Never got any more reponse from Angela after 3 more emails. I will never recommend this company for a used car. read more

If you want to be lied to about a timeline of when your truck is going to be fixed, and then hung up on when you try to figure out the timeline, this is the Ford for you. Ford apparently stands for Found On Road Dead, since their airbags don't work and their service department doesn't care about fixing them. I set an appointment a week ago to fix my ford ranger airbag for the second time, along with refilling refrigerant. Did not expect to be dealing with total snakes, but here we are. I was quoted $140 for the work. The tech asked his supervisor if the 'free' airbag replacement would be covered by the dealership in front of me. They both laugh a bit about something that I didn't hear. Miraculously, several seconds later the total increased to $190. While it's not 100% certain they did this unethical nonsense, I think it's highly probable based upon the interaction that they indirectly charged me for a FREE service that covers their defective trucks. On top of this, it took 15 minutes to drop off my keys for this appointment. Literally wasted my time for a 30 second interaction. The cherry on top is that they DIDN'T EVEN ORDER THE AIRBAG when I scheduled the appointment, they ordered it when I dropped off the car, wasting a half of a week or so of my time. They wanted me to pick up my truck WITHOUT THAT WORK BEING DONE and didn't let me know that the work wasn't done until I asked (they said I could come pick it up today, despite this key repair not being made). Mind you, this airbag issue is literally leading to people dying. No ethics here. Don't buy a Ford, and if you make that mistake, don't come here for service. EDIT: A week later, they still don't have the airbag. They again told me the truck was ready when it was not. Called them and they hung up on me. Spoke with Corporate, and hopefully this issue gets resolved. By far the worst dealership i've been to, but i'm thankful that corporate stands by its name. Scheduled an appointment to bring my truck in for an oil change at 11am today. We dropped it off and didn't hear back. I called at 5:30 to ask about the status, they had issues finding my paperwork, when the woman came back she stated "We couldn't get to it today, we'll get to it tomorrow". I don't think so, they should have called with a service update if they needed 2 days for an oil change. I have a feeling they dropped the ball and totally forget about the truck sitting on the lot. Loved how my vehicle was serviced. That was 5 stars. 1 star off because staff did not follow covid regulations. Some staff didn't wear their mask correctly and I understand they wouldn't want to wear it all day but if a customer is there, at least put it on correctly and take it off when not speaking to a customer. This is the worst dealership I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They completely screwed my wife. They took advantage of her excitement to buy her first new vehicle. She was preapproved for a loan with terms for the price of the vehicle and the interest rate. She ended up walking out with an additional 5 months tacked onto the loan and getting screwed on her trade. They said they were going to take the the money off the new truck but the "1000$ off" was actually a rebate that they offered on their website. So not only did they not take anything off of the truck to compensate for raping her on the trade... they tacked on an addition $3000+ to the loan by adding 5 additional months because she told them where she wanted the payment to they acted like they could the payment lower without adding more months. BUT SHE WAS ALEADY APPROVED FOR THE SAME PAYMENT AT 60 months when she walked in there. If I can save one person from getting the royal ram rod like my wife ... it will be worth the time I spent writing this. I can't wait to pay for this truck for the next sixty FIVE months. read more

Clearly this dealership is doing well and has more work than they can handle, so I will find one that is able to put a waiting customer above entering their work orders. And there may be more problems! 5) I asked - if computer broken why did you say 65 indicating lights on computer last week? Answer - well it's only part broken I asked - how did you miss a large crack fir two weeks? Going on 3 hours from my initial 11am appointment time. I was told 1-1.5 hrs originally so I was prepared with some stuff thankfully. Just getting state inspection and check on stirring wheel recall which Mike told me about as soon as I walked in. Mike the Quicklane Manager is 100%; super friendly, super polite, and super helpful. He came to tell me my car was almost done, when in fact it hadn't even been moved... when I mentioned that he was utterly shocked. Turns out the technician took the wrong car in. Mike was super apologetic and made sure my car was in ASAP. Mike gets a 5-star from me. Based on the people here today, I have a feeling that my next visit will be better. read more

I've never bought a car at Springfield Ford. I've never been there for service before. My daughters car needed a computer update. It's not a complex repair. I stopped on Monday, December 30 and asked if I could just leave it for the week in case maybe they would have an opening. I was told absolutely not. I left disappointed and a little confused. I find it hard to believe that even on a holiday week that they won't have any cancellations or openings. It must be a very busy place. I had my car towed here to be repaired after getting an appointment for 2 weeks away. It took over 3 weeks for them to finish. When I picked my car up I felt some extremely racist vibes from most workers I came In contact with. When I walked In there were 3 white men behind their booths and no one acknowledged me, I had to say I'm here to pick up my car only then did someone say something. A white woman came in after me and was helped right away. Even the female cashier showed extremely poor customer service with a bad attitude. No hello, thank you or anything. There was a short little guy working there who kept looking me up and down, and not in a good way, maybe because I'm taller than him. Honestly, this place was a joke. If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my car here to get some minor repair work done. Another driver had scraped up against my car while on the road and there was some damage on 2 different parts of the car near the rear wheel well. The other person's insurance company did an estimate, took pictures and shortly after, I was referred to Springfield Ford for repair. I rented a car for several days while mine was at Springfield Ford, and when I came back to pick my car up, there was still unrepaired damage! When I pointed it out to the service dept. manager, Guy Angelello, I'm pretty sure was his name, he minimized it and said something like "Oh, you can barely notice it if you're standing up!" Um, hel-LO - What do you get paid to do, exactly? Do you only repair vehicle damage based on what you can see when standing up next to a car?? Ridiculous. I told him I wanted my car fully repaired like it was supposed to be, that the auto adjustor had pictures of all the damage, on top of the fact that it was a brand new car. He was obviously annoyed and told me he'd personally pay for a rental until my car was fully repaired. When I came back in a day or 2 to pick my car up, he treated me like I didn't matter at all, and in parting, I said "Have a great day!" and he replied, "The only way I'll have a great day is if I win the lottery!" and walked off. Like... SERIOUSLY??? You consider this good customer service?? I will steer everyone I possibly can away from this place. Totally unprofessional and insulting to be treated this way. Just, WOW. From start to finish, our experience with Springfield Ford Lincoln was outstanding. After being car-free for the better part of the last decade, we decided to get back in the drivers seat. My spouse has a perks program through work and towards the end of the year, he received an offer he couldn't refuse. After printing out the savings certificate, we prepared ourselves for battle. We had some specific requests: had to be a hatchback, had to be gray (or darker), had to have manual transmission, and we preferred none of the fancier packages. At least one other dealer told us they could only get us the manual transmission if we paid up front for the vehicle - that dealer didn't even offer a test drive! Springfield Ford Lincoln was amazing from our first contact with them via email. When we actually visited the showroom, they arranged a test drive of a Fiesta manual transmission, just so we could get a feel for it (excuse me if I sound old, but these new-fangled manual transmissions shift a far sight better than our 1974 VW...). And, then we were offered the chance to drive an automatic transmission Ford Focus - just to get a feel for the vehicle. Throughout the entire process, Claude, our salesperson, let us set the pace of the transaction. He was respectful and personable, and we never felt pressured or judged. The rest of the staff was likewise friendly. When we returned to pick up our new car, staff not directly associated with our sales knew who we were and treated us kindly.
