Their representative Pierre is very creepy and unprofessional. He made multiple comments about my looks and body along with asking me my "type" in a guy. He also insisted following me on instagram. CREEPY. They ran my credit 10+ times and I received a letter in the mail that stated I was denied due to "insufficient down payment and no Trade-in". Mind you I was trading in my vehicle and we discussed that AND I was told they would give me 125% higher than market value but when I got there they said the person I was speaking to is working remotely from syria???? They also won't even let you LOOK at car without running your credit first btw! Even when I was leaving and I was getting into my vehicle Pierre then approaches me while i'm IN MY CAR LEAVING , leans into my window with his body. I received false information from the service department about the failed battery and the need for new brakes. The battery that came with the car was about 2.3 years old when it failed, which is unacceptable for a new car. So, in my opinion, the battery was a "no-frills" battery. I chose not to purchase another "no-frills" battery through Mitsubishi, particularly since they do not offer a longer warranty than two years, which is ridiculous. The service department suggested that I have the car towed to them so they can install their "no frills" brand of battery. I chose to purchase an AMD battery from AutoZone with a 4-year warranty from AutoZone. Oh, the other suggestion was to purchase a device I plug into my garage to help maintain the battery. Say what?! Oh, and drive the car more so the battery connects to the alternator for longer periods. Huh?! At the same time, the service person said I needed new back brakes. The car had only 14,000 miles on it, and I am not a hard driver. My male friend suggested that I take the car to another shop to get the brakes tested, so I did. The female auto mechanic (Girls Auto Clinic in Upper Darby) showed me that I would not need brakes for another 4-5 months. If I needed brakes by June, the car would not pass the State inspection, and I'll get brakes then. It was not an emergency or need for brakes, as the Mitsubishi Service Department had stated. The expense would have been about $600 out of pocket for brakes I did not need if I had not checked with another shop. During such difficult financial times, the Mitsubishi Springfield service department should not coerce customers (women) into receiving services they do not need, meaning lying about the condition of my back brakes, nor suggest that I tow the car to Mitsubishi to get a battery that is only guaranteed to perform for 24 months. So people are expected to replace a battery every 24 months; really?! I think not! So, in general, these auto manufacturers are building cars like the telecommunications industry builds cell phones, which is to fail within two years of purchase. It's no wonder we see so many newer cars being resold when they become too expensive to maintain, so people just walk away from them. I will never purchase another Mitsubishi vehicle, nor will I recommend this brand to anyone. read more

NEVER go to a dealership for an inspection (especially if you're a female). I only had the car for a year. 2022 with good miles, nothing major should be wrong. OF COURSE, they found something. I needed a tire. I'm like, ok, I've never failed before, so this shouldn't be too bad. Total over $400.00 WHAT! These extra charges, I DID NOT NEED TO PASS MY INSPECTION. An alignment, strange filters that I had never heard of, Etc. I left, as I should with my 30 days. I went to an authorized tire place and continued the inspection. This is not how I like to do business. I tried to do this amicably but these guys don't play the game right at all. Capital One gave me four Pre-Approval notices and I clearly chose wrong. I purchased a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander from them now about 45 days ago. It was used, very low miles and some small blemishes but could be corrected, came correct with my down payment and in the end I think they simply sold me a vehicle they had a difficult time moving off the lot. Now you might ask why such a low number of stars in the review...well let's get to it. Before purchasing and leaving the lot I asked for the correct paint match to fix a small but very noticeable rust stain in the drivers door and the big scratch on the drivers door handle since; I also requested an owners manual (there wasn't one in the glove box) so I could properly reset the vehicles settings since they failed to do so and the previous owners setup was still in function. To add insult to injury, they took the car to put fuel in it and somehow got a nail in the tire only 1 day off the lot and gave me the business about fixing that, so I did it myself. The 30 warranty they give was trash as they did not want to fix anything. To date I still have not found the correct paint based on the VIN/manufacturer. I waited for a phone call to pick it up but once I called they claimed they could not provide said document. This was all to avoid the back and forth and the lies from them by simply performing a DIY or take it to another Mitsubishi dealership with an on-site service department. Oh, for those that don't know, their service department has moved across. Forget these guys including a name I see heavy in these reviews with negativity attached to include Calvin, Ace, and their sales manager. They are all in cahoots and will quickly pass the buck on each other and then on to you (I am choosing to use PC terms), there is nothing good about doing business with them. They think they can sell you a dumpster fire because Pennsylvania does not have a "No Lemon" law, which is BS itself since a vehicle is in fact a major purchase. Note to anyone who reads this. Car dealerships will only push a deal they can benefit from. DealerTrack (what it was called a few years ago) shows them what deal works best in their favor. Don't believe the hype that the bank or finance company is the only one that has the upper hand in a deal. Even if your credit is not good, they never pursue a deal when only one bank will take the bid unless it is completely irresistible. Springfield Mitsubishi is completely insane. My experience was terrible. Calvin texts and calls you continuously even without a response. When I finally went to the dealership to check out a vehicle, I didn't have his complete attention. He wasn't listening to me. I needed a suv or full size sedan, after being belittled we came to an agreement on a used 2019 outlander. Instead of continuing the process Calvin and his sales manager played a game of tag to see who would convince me to get a Mirage or Toyota. After declining 4 times I decided to just leave. When I was asked my mortgage amount, her comment was "it must be pha". I looked puzzled and asked what is pha? She answered, Philadeladelphia Housing Authority. DO YOU KNOW HOW INSULTING THAT IS?? It's not insulting because someone lives pha, but because the assumption was based on race. My primary home is in an area with $200,000 houses. I have a satisfied mortgage and a generous pension. with credit scores of high 600 to over 700. The salespersons were all idle at their desks.Manager made us wait over 30 minutes after all the paperwork had been collected. The sales Manager needs to revisit the by appt only during the week. By the way the salesperson who I only knew over the phone was there 10 minutes after we entered. She was seated 2 desks away and probably thought we did not show for the 12:00 appt.We heard each others voice as we were leaving after one hour . Our family allowed one hour to see if we could make a deal because we were told that as a repeat buyer of a new car, the dealership should be our first stop for an SUV. We left for our next appt and bought the SUV. It should be noted that Ms Personality who acts as the greeter at the door would not take messages when we called three times in one day. If something does not change with the management of this auto dealer, your salespersons will have to get another job to supplement this one. read more

They didn't have any of those in so they had a 2018 gmc Arcadia they said just came from their service center. They gave me a carfax for my reinsurance. That was an lie because everything that they said was serviced were not. Now in January 2023 the transmission went on it after of having it for 6mos. I called Mitsubishi they said call Gmc. When bringing my car in for a recall they were unable to provide me with a loaner car to get to work - seems to me they should since the recall is their issue not mine. Every time I call them they put me on hold for 15+ minutes, but if I redial they can help immediately which says to me they either forget that I am waiting or don't want to help. The service and parts department don't communicate well with each other. How is it I call Springfield Mitsubishi in Reading and get transferred to the parts department in Springfield? Drove an hour from Coatesville to Reading and no part. Then they order the part and never call me. When I complained in response to a follow-up "how did we do" email, the customer service rep tells me that they did call me, and left several VMs. My call history proves otherwise. When I called them out on it, no apology, no offer to make it right by giving me a discount. WTH. Done with them. Two strikes, you're out, especially if you're calling me a liar. read more

Told me my payments would be 600 and some per month. I told them i couldn't afford more than 450 a month. They wouldn't even show me any used cars one or two years old. The outcome of my purchase was as expected with me leaving the facility with a vehicle, however the overall experience was something that was totally regrettable. We arrived at the facility promptly at 1PM for our scheduled appointment and met with our sales rep Robert as was made known to us via text messages and phone calls. I asked both my wife and mother-in-law to accompany me as I thought the whole process would at most take 4-5 hours to conduct; I was way off. We had the initial discussions in the beginning typical of every car deal: what are you looking for, how much are you putting down, what are looking to pay each month, etc. Those discussions went fine and as expected, where things took a total left turn was when we were continually given the runaround for how long we would have to wait for everything to be completed. We were told when Robert went to get our vehicle from a nearby warehouse that it would take between 20-30 minutes, that was a LIE, it took more like an hour and a half. We were told that the paperwork was being done by someone who is quick to get it done, that was also a LIE as we didn't receive the paperwork until 3.5 hours AFTER I already put down my down payment. We were told a ballpark amount for how much monthly payments would be and told that the number was a worst-case scenario, that was also a LIE as the actual number turned out to be around $100 more than that given figure. We were told that the vehicle was being washed and detailed and that it shouldn't take "too long"; they never even got to wash it as it literally sat across the street at the adjacent used car lot for about 45 min. only to have them splash water on the vehicle. When all of this was said and done we spent 7.5 HOURS (1pm-8:30pm) for seemingly no reason at all, mind you the dealership closed at 6PM. We were left to sit in a cold cubicle all day while people kept walking back and forth with the occasional "oh, they are working on it" in between all of this madness. We were offered NOTHING to eat or drink. My wife ended up falling asleep frequently because of the lack of sustenance throughout the whole day. It was only after we complained after the initial 7 hour wait that we were then offered $50 for "dinner money", why should it even get to that point for it to be acknowledged that we've been in there FOREVER. To make matters worse, there were other customers that arrived and came in after us but left before us with new vehicles in tow. Absolutely mind-boggling. Just because you say that your dealership sold 15 cars that day does not make it a viable excuse for how we were ultimately treated, we are human beings not dollar signs or signatures. If I wasn't in the precarious situation of having to trade my vehicle at that moment in time I probably would have either bitten the bullet and kept my previous car or go to another establishment to have the business conducted. I would like to express my utter disappointment of Springfield Mitsubishi;especially the lackluster service of the SALES DEPARTMENT who has my cash payment for a part ( plastic housing for my passenger side mirror), which; according to a body shop manager, claimed its the wrong device!!!-what's even more disturbing, is that THIS IS THE SECOND ORDERING OF THE PART!!!!!-I tried to contact the dealership, because, in all fairness, the owner treated me like FAMILY ( this was in 2018; the year that I purchased the vehicle). I was told that all that I needed was a cover, so I paid in cash for the order. , but it wouldn't go on . The manager said that maybe the mold is flawed, and he will order another! Now I'm waiting longer for another part!- I have kidney disease, so I'm not readily available. But I do it! I received a phone call that the other housing arrived ( weeks later of course), he's not there! An empty-skull associate says that "we ain't allowed to help put the parts on, we'd might brake 'em"- quote, so why are you working here?????-I asked him to find someone who could help. Another guy comes out and says this isn't the right one! Of course I'm pissed, because he boxed up the part, tells me that the order is right, but maybe THEY PUT THE WRONG PART IN THE BOX!!!!. I have had enough!! I now have to drive a long distance for the 4th time , request refund, and start over again after almost two months of bs!!!!, plus when I call the dealership to speak to the owner, ASSOCIATES ARE TRYING TO SELL ME A NEW CAR!!!!!!! I respected Springfield up until now a, being a disabled person respecting and serving my country, this is how I'm treated???- I got out the hospital today; so I'm calling parts department tomorrow to request a refund for the part, then, I gotta make it to the body shop! i took my 2004 mitsubishi endeavor in to get a tsb 11 55 003 fixed..wet carpet on drivers side . i got there at 8am yesterday and was told a bunch of B.S. about the problem & that the refrigerant needed to be drained & that they were drying out my soaked carpet . i was given a new mitsubishi outlander to try out & to have it back by closing..9pm . i got back at 8pm only to discover my suv wasn't fixed , & they never lifted my mats off the floor so that the carpet underneath could dry. i had to take home my suv , which was still apart with no air conditioning , in the 80 degree heat & was asked to bring it back the next day for a problem that was supossed to have been fixed by the time i returned !! Worst car dealer ever! You need to give the customer what they want!! (Don't they want you to buy a car?) I went in for an appointment and didn't get helped until 30 minutes after it! They make you fill out a paper which is quite ridiculous. All I wanted to do was test drive a car and the manager said "what's the point of test driving a car, if your not going to buy it tonight". After that I left. I feel like this is why you don't see any Mitsubishi's with "Springfield mitsubishi" on it!! Rude employees! This place is a real dump, volume dealership that takes advantage of its customers. The advertisement of credit amnesty is a farce and a straight lie. They have lenders that are willing to forgive certain things on your credit but not any true amnesty as advertised. I have very poor credit so I wasn't expecting them to throw a vehicle at me, but the customer service was so poor. Zaynah my " Sales Rep " looked like she had just walked in from shoveling the lot. I have primary sources of income and secondary, her response to my secondary income was " it's only $1000 ". Extremely unprofessional rhetoric , Extremely unprofessional in appearance, also completely lacked any knowledge in the vehicle I was interested in. Not only did she treat me as if I was the clueless one, she showed me a Outlander and couldn't answer a simple questions about " seating configuration and seating options " her response was " I'm lost ". When I took a look at the mentioned vehicle. I wasn't able to test drive , no features were explained , she didn't even turn the vehicle on for me or hand me the keys the best she could do is ask me " Do you want to see the trunk ?
