However, the shop performed and charged for two oil changes within an interval of approximately 5,000 miles. I was not informed that the second oil change was unnecessary based on the manufacturer's recommendations, nor was I given a technical explanation justifying an early oil change. At no point was I advised that the service was redundant or optional. Had I been properly informed, I would not have authorized the second oil change. I attempted to contact the shop by phone and left a voicemail requesting clarification, but I did not receive a response. I believe this reflects a lack of transparency and failure to obtain informed consent for an unnecessary service. If you can't trust this shop with an oil change, image any other service.

When I asked how much I owed he said nothing. I got in my car and it wouldn't start. The tech came out and tried to start it. He said the battery was dead. No one had battery cables so I had to call my daughter to bring her portable charger. By this time it was snowing heavily, but the two techs stood in the freezing cold and continued to work with the car until they got it started, which was well over 30 minutes.
