I find it very disheartening with the level of service I received from Springfield Mitsubishi. One year ago I had them fix my vehicle, I told them what was wrong with it and they went ahead and charged me additionally for a diagnostic that turned out to be exactly what I said the issue was. They needed to replace a part so I approved them with the order and they worked on my vehicle. I got it back but another issue arose. They told me they would take care of it. I have consistently asked about my problem and they give me the run around and claimed they would get back to me. Now I have a new issue with my vehicle and I am reluctant on going back to Springfield Mitsubishi to their level of professionalism due to the fact that they still have yet to solve the issue from a year ago. i bought a brand new 2019 mirage G4 with 23 miles on it on August 22nd of this year. After a few weeks maybe a month my radio started acting weird and wouldn't let me sync my phone to it. I brought it the the service department who were very rude and all they did was hit the reset button. It's still not fixed and now i have a leak somewhere in my windshield which hasn't been fixed properly. Not only are my issues not being resolved but they sold me a car for 25,000 and my car brand new is only worth 10,000! i can only imagine what will go wrong next while i'm driving with my 19 month daughter. It's inexcusable how this dealership and owner conducts their business. They are unethical with zero integrity. I sat in the dealership with my family for hours attempting (Saturday) to work out a deal that I felt good about. When we couldn't come to a good place, I took my family and left. I loaded the family back into the car and as we were about to pull away they stopped us and asked me to come back in for a better deal. I proceed to return the dealership alone and the owner, yes the owner (Matt Law), offered a deal that I felt comfortable with. Not wanting to pull the hungry family back out of the car on this rainy evening (and with my wife not present, I could set this up as Christmas gift for her), Matt assured me this deal was good until the next business day (Monday) so I could clean out the vehicle we are trading while it wasn't raining and would be without the family. We even discussed how he could store the car for me until Christmas. We shook hands and thanked him for honoring the deal until Monday. Well I go in on the next business day, and they informed me that this particular car was "sold" and they would not honor the deal on any vehicle of the same model. If you want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they did actually sell the vehicle, couldn't they just sell me another vehicle, right? Well apparently this vehicle had a "special rebate" that gave them the ability to offer that particular deal and not just an attempt at a bait and switch. Or Matt could have chosen to honor the deal (not his sale associate, not his sales manager, but HIS DEAL) to demonstrate his integrity. NOPE! It was actually the reverse. His employees put the fault on me for not taking the deal when it was offered and gave me the advice that next time I should have either signed or gotten it in writing. Horrible. I tried to buy a car from this dealership. I tried hard calling for info on a tuesday and every day after that until Friday. I never got a call back. Finally I got info from one of the sales managers because I asked him if he didn't want to sell the car to me. I drove over for a test drive, liked it and made an offer. The sales team said they would call me back the next day to give me an answer. They never called back. I called them twice and they wouldn't come to the phone. I am not sure what they had against me. They had a vehicle I wanted and refused to call me back to sell it to me. They NEVER calle me back. All contact was made by me. Not sure how long they have been in business but I am sure they wont be very long when they turn away potential customers like they did me. read more

I will not EVER refer someone to this dealership again! The person I referred still does not have her car ready to call hers since Saturday. It was supposed to be delivered to her place of employment yesterday with any repairs made and detailed ready for her to drive home. I called for her at almost 4:30 yesterday and it seems they forgot about her car. They ended up picking her up at work and making her sit at the dealership for more than 2 1/2 hours, until 8:40 last night while they still worked on the car and are still not finished. After she forwarded me an email about them thanking her, it was sent to me to respond to how unsatisfied she is. I emailed Dean Hill who responded by saying he could not discuss it with me which is bull because since Saturday the dealership HAS been discussing her with me. To start I would like to say first and foremost I absolutely LOVE my 2014 mirage. I bought is March 8 2014. It was the first brand new car I've even owned. And to this day I love it like that day.... I love my bank that my loan is through as well... And at the beginning Springfield Mitsubishi was amazing. Then I had an issue, my clutch was going. My car was only 2 years under 60,000 miles. From the paperwork I signed back in 2014, I had a warranty. Here is where the fun begins. According to my warranty I would have a tow service to Mitsubishi and a rental if they needed it over 3 days. Clutch was considered wear and tear. Okay. Fine. When my clutch blew , while I was driving it I called Mitsubishi. The service department gave me an 800 number for the ER tow. I asked about the rental I was told I don't know. after arranging the tow, I asked the er tow service.. Again was told I don't know. After waiting 3 hours for my tow and told by now a service agent a sales agent and a manger I don't know about a rental I set up my own and told the manager I would submit for reimbursement. I arrived to Mitsubishi and Angel helped me get to the rental place and even with my daughter. She is amazing. Moving on when leaving I was stopped by a sales agent saying over and over she can get me into a new car. I wanted to go home!! 2 days later I was called and told my car would be 1700 to repair and take a week... Remember rental over 3 days... At this point I wanted to speak to a sales manager and see what would be my best interest... After playing games for a week of not returning calls I was told they could ONLY tell me if I went in... RIGHT. Upon going in the ran my credit, that had gone up over 100points from 2 years ago. I was then told it wasn't in my best interest to get a new car because my monthly payment would DOUBLE.... wait what?? I was advised with my bank "there were some not good things" More fun!!!! This was on Wednesday. I was told my car would be completed by Friday. Latest Saturday.... I called on Friday and was advised by Kate there were some issues no later than Tuesday night. Okay. So I am off Wednesdays so I planned to go. To be safe I called Tuesday morning and Kate informed me that not only was my car not done it was moved to another location to be worked on... Without my permission... I explained to Kate how ludicrous this was and I would be there 930a Wednesday to get my car and my registration and insurance was in my front seat for inspection.... This was already confirmed I was reminding her.... Later that night she called me and said it would be done. Wednesday morning I called my bank concerned what "issues" the sales manager was referring to. My loan agent was HIGHLY confused. Over my 24 months only 2 payments were ever late and I was considering in GOOD standing. Due to the extravagant price of the Bill my loan agent offered to waive 2 months payments and lower 6 months payments after June. Also he mentioned NO ONE has called on about my loan besides me making a payment. NO ONE from Mitsubishi called to confirm my payments or standing .... Doesn't sound like something they would do for someone with "issues"... Same day I left my house to head to Mitsubishi to get my car. Kate, once again called me, we tore your car apart can't find registration and insurance. It was on my seat I told her. She said it's not there and never was. Mind you the people who confirmed it was.... Never Kate.... So I arrived showed my proof and she made me wait AN HOUR to get my stickers with a screaming toddler.... As my car was pulled up I opened my passenger door and made 2 managers and Angel come to the car. Angel Dave and joe all saw in clear sight... My registration and my insurance... So an hour of my life completely wasted... As I said I love my car. But as for springfield Mitsubishi. Attitude. Unprofessional. And liars. I am disheartened because 2 years ago I would recommend to anyone. Now I wouldn't to my worst enemy. Deplorable service from Kate. She clearly never even opened my car door... Not to mention I STILL have a sensor light on my car. And yes I will be contacting corporate. I don't want compensation other than what is owed to me. 368$ for my rental. Waste of my time. I found a car on line in their used car inventory. E mailed them of my interest, I received an immediate e mail back and a phone call as well. Once i spoke with the salesman, I set up an appointment the same day to look at the 2 cars i was interested in. The one car the sales man recommended over the other one ,we both agreed over the phone that was the car i was more interested in seeing. Appointment set...I get their on time and ...THE CAR I WANTED...NOT THERE! Of course the one he talked me out of was there ( higher miles, older model, same price) What a waste, the sales man said if he knew i was coming he would of made sure the care was there from their other lot, about 20 minutes away....I said we made an appointment, it was confirmed in their computer, all i got was an "I'm sorry" Great way to run a business, I had cash in my pocket, was willing to buy on the spot....These guys are a joke. Patricia greeted and assisted us right away as soon as we walked in the door.We were explained the process in order to obtain a quote on a car. But, week later I inquired about the possibility of getting another vehicle. I had emailed the sales man and the finance mgr. It took them 10 days to respond with one saying he didn't get email...and other saying I owed him 400!! My brakes got recalled after having the car 7 years and knowing there was a problem and therefore scares when I needed to brake suddenly. I wasn't happy about having to take my car in or the fact I was put into danger for all those years. I called and was told that it would be about an hour and a half. When I got to the dealership the lady up front told me that it would be an hour and a half to two hours. After three hours, I finally got up to find out what was happening to my car and they told me that it was ready. BUT that my car did have the defective brakes and they had to order a part and I had to come back whenever headquartersl sent them. I went back a week later and spent another 1-1.5 hours there. On the survey I made it clear I was not happy. I was at the dealership 4.5 hours and with driving time it was 6-6.5 hours of my life without apology or compensation. It could have been taken care of in one trip but first they had to test it and then get the part from Mitsubishi. You'd think headquarters would send a bunch of these parts as to not burden the customer more. And you think the dealer would be as quick as possible but I was more unhappy with the headquarters that did not care I was I danger or put out for hours without compensation. Here is the best part. Due to me survey, Angel from HR called me. I explained what I was not happy with and she argues with me. "Well sometimes another car takes longer than expected and that may be why you had to wait". She was arguing all my points for 5 minutes until I had to say " I did not call to complain. I just filled out the survey honestly and you called me". She finally stopped arguing. I know why it may have taken longer. I'm an educated adult. But I still am not going to give them a 10 for being considerate of my time. They took double what I was originally promised and I was forced to come back. They earned a low score. read more

The worst car dealer I have dealt with yet. Sent me a "pre-approved" card. Bombarded me with emails after I activated it. Told the person I spoke to on the phone my exact situation. Told them I didn't want to drive an hour on my birthday If they couldn't help me. She told me over and over again that they could get me into a vehicle no problem and they already knew my exact situation. So I took the drive. The woman that put my information in was sweet but then the manager came over and started to address me over and over again as sweetheart and started explaining to me exactly what I had explained to them on the phone as if this was news to me and I was dumb. The condescending tone is what really set me off. Then asked if I could put down almost 2 grand after I had told them several times that I could not when I spoke to them on the phone. The whole thing was a hoax. Told me they got me approved for several banks but couldn't do anything because of my current car.. I get a report on my credit every time someone sends out an inquiry. They never even put it through with the banks. After wasting 3 hours of my birthday I come out with no car after being promised by every one of their employees that i talked to that they could really finance anyone. A friend of mine went here to purchase a NEW car and ended up leaving with a used car with an outrageous "monthly" payment. He had no credit was was against him but he had enough money down that any other car dealership I have dealt with would have got him a much lower payment. After paying a down payment, trading in his car, and paying all his fees, he received a car a week later to find out he needed to return the car because they never actually got him approved through a bank and they needed him to sign new paperwork for a "buy here, pay here" program, which they refer to as being approved through Star Auto Loan Bank, it's a bogus way to get you to agree to their buy here pay here program. So my friend refused and wanted his trade and down payment returned because they sold him a car under false pretenses. Fast-forward 2 years later and in walk me and my boyfriend after several phone calls. We initially wanted to get a NEW car but were told due to lack of any credit history that wouldnt be possible. We instead were told they could put us in a nice used car and as long as we made payments on time for the next 8-11 months they would be able to get us out of the used car and into a new car and be completely out of the used car, meaning there would be no balance carried over to the new car loan from the used. After being there for 5 hours we finally get approved through a bank with $1000 down! Great right? Well we thought so until a few days later.. We purchased the car without them detailing it but were promised a detail and that the car would run mechanically sound, if not they would replace and fix any issues. So driving the car home that night the brakes screeched and grind and we felt EVERY bump. So we called and informed Dave and he went on his promise crap and told us he would personally have everything FIXED. Two weeks later we call to find out when we would receive our payment coupon booklet only to be told "You wont receive one because you were approved for a "Star Auto Loan" (buy here pay here crap) and that we were two weeks behind on payments. This phone call was also to address the extended warranty paperwork but were then informed we couldnt get the extended warranty, even though I asked several times during the transaction about it and was told we would receive the paperwork in the mail, which never came. So at this point we were not approved through a bank like we were misled to believe and we can't get a warranty. So The next day we bring in the car to have everything fixed, including the side mirror which was cracked when we purchased it but was replaced on this day and was the only thing replaced. Apparently the car was fine mechanically. Two days later my boyfriend is adjusting the side mirror which was power operated and the glass cracked so we took it back and were took we damaged the mirror because of the scuffs on the plastic part, which were already there when they put the part on because they put a used side mirror to replace the originally cracked mirror. So after arguing for an hour they finally agree to fix it. A week later my boyfriend is driving home from work and the steering column snaps. Another fight but we eventually go them to agree to replace it. It is now 9 weeks since we made this awful purchase and as you can tell we had an awful experience. This business is as crooked as they come when it comes to used car purchases. They recognized our need for a car and took advantage that fact. They made every promise they could to make us purchase this vehicle even talked us out of going to another dealership because they would just put us in a buy here pay here program when they could get us approved through a bank. I wouldnt send my worst enemy here. They may be great for new car sales but as for used car sales I suggest you run, very FAR, in the opposite direction of this dealership! read more

Nice people but wasn't impressed with customer service. I set up an appt. to see a vehicle on Wed. for Sat. and received 6-8 calls to confirm right up to my arrival time. When I got there vehicle wasn't there it was at the off site storage after waiting an hour was told that vehicle was sold "yesterday" but here is a similar vehicle. Tried to show me bad math where my payments didn't include interest and I had a pre-approval stating interest was clearly included in monthly payment. Ended up sitting down with the owner who wouldn't budge on his sale price on the vehicle and acted like I was asking for the moon in my negotiation. Wasn't really impressed at all. Tried to make me feel at fault that we couldn't make a deal. I would not recommend friends to this dealership. read more

Took my car in to get a recall part. They jerked me around for 3 hours and then said I'd have to come back to take care of it, "we'll call when the part comes in". Three months later, still no call. I call them and oh look, the part they said they never had is magically there and ready to go (mind you, its a stock part). On top of this, I also wanted to get my inspection completed. The service desk person, who doesn't know his ass from his elbow, told me my car failed. When I asked, what failed, he told me the brakes, they were 2/32. Well, little known fact for everyone out there... to pass in PA you need, well what do you know, 2/32. Then he brings the tech in and we are all arguing back and forth and he proceeds to tell me that the state requires 3/32, which, is full of shit. So, they lost all credibility now. Then he said, my rotors also failed...but, when I asked for the measurements they couldn't supply me with an answer, and said, "well, i'd have to take the tire off, but, it looks like its going to fail". What kind of business is this? Pull it off and take the measurements. Let the numbers do the talking, not your bogus excuses which ain't worth a damn when you're caught in a bullshit lie. So, Mitsubishi, congratulations, you lost my business for good. Moral of the story, when you know your right and they're full of shit they wont' admit it and run you through the gambit and try and charge you $400 for services you don't necessarily need, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! read more

I had a recall on my 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse for the ABS brakes and took my car to Springfield Mitsubishi. One of the best decisions I ever made since the dealership I purchased my car from does not know how to repair cars at all. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and like they were going to take care of my car. I handed over my keys and was sent up to the waiting room which blew me away. They have these state of the art massaging chairs, Keurig coffee maker and old school coca cola case filled with free soda along with a large flat screen television. The time went by so fast that before I knew it my car was done and it was time for me to go. I forgot where I was as I was so comfortable at this dealership. Thank you Springfield Mitsubishi for not only taking Great care of my car but having one of the best waiting areas I've ever been in. Once you buy your car they start lying I can't believe how unhappy I am with a new car. 2 recalls on it already, they fight with you before they give you a rental car after a four hour wait. The best part is they call you and tell you your car is ready when it hasn't even been looked at. They tell you to get oil changes twice as often you you need to. Worst worst worst car buying experience ever!!!! I bought a 2013 Chevy Malibu. The customer service sucks they ran my credit over 27 times when they said they would only run it 3 times max !!!! They promised me a full service detail which I called about and never received!!!! They also promised to touch up some minor dents and scratches but they had to order the paint they were going to call me when they received the paint they never called me. I never got any of those things which were promised me. I should have ran when I found weed yes marijuana!!!! in the trunk of my car. It was the worst car buying experience ever smh!!!! Don't waste your time! My girlfriend was looking to replace her 2003 Outlander. She decided to check out Mitsubishi's Sport as one of her options. We ended up with an inexperienced sales person (Brittany) who went with us on a test drive (it makes great right turns...don't know how it does in a left turn or on the highway). We wanted to get some numbers on a financed deal or possible lease. Brittany went into the managers office for about 10 minutes while we sat at her desk...able to see through the door as the manager did something on his computer and she chatted with him. Then the dealer manager came over and chatted with us...knowing that we had been waiting....he then went into the office....after about 20 minutes, they came out with some numbers scribbled on a memo sheet from a pad. They did not seem eager to sell anything or provide customer service. Oh, and the "cash booth" topped it off as being a tacky and shady dealership. read more

I got caught in a new con today. I thought I had heard them all but not this one. After posting my used auto on craigslist, within an hour I received an email from one of this dealerships salesmen. He said he was interrested in buying my car and had someone who was looking for the same type I was selling. After exchanging phone numbers on line he called and asked if I could come to the dealership right away because he wanted to purchase my car and had a buyer waiting for it. I told him I could not come right away but I would try to make it in the evening. He called me back in the afternoon and told me it was important to get to the dealership before 6Pm because the person who writes the checks was done at 6. After arriving at around 6 I realized that this was a big come on to get me into the showroom. As soon as I arrived I was approached by the salesman and he immediatly tried to sell me a new car without any true interrest in even looking at or buying my car let alone at the price I had advertized it at. I should have smelled this trick considering my background and experience but even the best of us get caught up in the "seams to good to be true". No, it is never true. Anyway, if this is the type of ploy this dealership is using to get customers in the door, I wouldn't buy floor mats from them. To be fair they did offer to buy my car for $1500.00 less than what I was asking for it on line but the method they used was really a matter of bad ethics. I guess they either thought they could sell me a new car or they would get a used car really cheap. You can decide. read more
