I brought my car in on July 2nd, and did not get it back until July 31st. They had estimated it to take 10 DAYS, and when I brought this up to them multiple times, they continuously blamed it on my insurance company causing delays instead of taking any sort of responsibility for constantly pushing the pick up date back. I received ZERO communication from them the entire time they had my car until 2 days before I picked up my car, and this was after I repeatedly asked them to give me calls and update me on what's going on in the process (which they did not do). They told me (when I would call THEM) that the parts they had ordered for my car were "bad" so they had to send them back and get new ones which is apparently why it took so long, but somehow they could never tell me when the parts were meant to actually come in. Again, not once did they call and let me know why it was taking an entire month to fix some basic issues. The day I was finally approved to pick up my car, they called to tell me that my AC no longer worked, even though it worked perfectly fine before I brought it in. They claimed that my car had a "pre-existing condition" called AC Black Death, and that they couldn't fix the problem that THEY created because their machine was broken. They gave me back my car with a "broken" AC unit and a horn that no longer honks and claimed that my insurance wouldn't pay to get it fixed because it wasn't their fault. In contrast, I brought my car into Crash Champions Collision Repair in Downtown Nashville and they confirmed that this diagnosis of AC Black Death was false and a made up lie to cover Gerber's own ass for messing up my AC. Cameron Clark fixed my AC in 20 minutes and I would highly suggest going to Crash Champions over Gerber Collision any day! Not only did they keep my car for an entire month, but they provided me with no financial support to get any sort of rental car so I could get to and from work in the mean time. All of this to say, I HIGHLY advise against using this particular Gerber collision repair for any of your car troubles.

I found this place, and we were a bit concerned when we saw there were very few reviews and nonexistent on google maps. Weirdly enough, when I first looked on Yelp, there was one review, and that one got removed? There are zero reviews currently, and the person I was messaging through the Yelp app said they just started their Yelp page. In any case, I asked a lot of questions through Yelp, and although the responses weren't the warmest, they responded quickly and I kept asking for more information because they were the cheapest for the work I needed. They also sent me some photos on work they've done, although none of them showed paint jobs (or before / afters). One of their responses made me uncomfortable - other shops I asked for the same work said it'd take 2-3 days (and three to four times the price). When the person from Driveway Doctors came to take a look at the car, they said they'd have to do a glaze and a finish - and could do it in one day. We wanted to know how these two layers would dry in one day, and none of the other shops said they could do it in one day. The response I got was: "this is our profession, we have all the tools and equipment we need to get the job done right and with quick turn around". That didn't really answer my question, and I followed up to ask for a clarification - no response. Eventually, I called the number listed on Yelp, no response but a quick text follow-up. I asked to talk to the person who came to look at the car, and we talked on the phone. He was excellent and explained everything, name is Mena. If I hadn't thought of doing this, I likely would've dropped it and gotten the work done elsewhere because the person responding to me on Yelp didn't seem like someone who cared much about customer service. In any case, I'm glad I pushed through because Mena (or Isaac?) did an excellent job. I'm not entirely sure who ended up doing the work, because Mena came to look at the car, and Isaac is the person we ended up paying (my partner went to meet the person both times so I'm unsure who it was). They pick up your car and drive it to a rented place to work on it (or you can drop it off yourself), and they did a great job, can barely tell the car was ever scratched. Turns out the person who worked on it is currently in trade school, but it was solid work - at least for now. Hopefully the materials used are durable and don't start to fade. We're very happy with the work, I just think the customer service aspect can be greatly improved.
