A relatively new property that is immediately adjacent to Lake Ray Hubbard on the Rockwall side. Easy access to Highway 30 and close to a variety of restaurants and bars. The decor is sharp and clean. Very little wear and tear. Staff is friendly. Rooms are all suites and are good looking. Beds are comfortable. The only thing that was a little off in our room is that when the A/C started up, it literally sounded like a jet engine whirling up. I slept okay with the noise, my daughter not so much. Pool is nice but not overly large and there are a couple separate sitting area's vicinity of the pool. One had a pergola over it and the other had a fire pit. There is also a event/conference center located within the hotel. Bar is fair sized and was busy in the evenings. Fitness Center has several treadmills and some free weights. Not a lot, but you can get a work out in. Hot breakfast is included. First day it was pretty good, second day, they ran out of food and brought out breakfast sandwiches that had been frozen, the issue was when they were reheated, the inside sausage patty was still partially frozen. You scan even make your own waffles, however, on the 2nd day, one of the waffle makers stopped working. Long lines and you couldn't get a waffle. Both were disappointing and a bit of a swing and miss. Parking is complimentary. Except for the breakfast issue and the jet engine for an air conditioning, it was a very nice stay. read more

I did not get to stay at the hotel so I can't speak to the hotel appearance/accommodations. However, I booked a room and tried to cancel the day before. They do have a 48 hour cancel policy. That sucks but it's fine. They told me instead of the $200 I would only be charged $145. My boyfriend called them and said well can we at least get a credit for a future stay? They said no because it's already been cancelled. I then got charged the full $200. I called and they told me I don't know who told you that. I asked to speak to a manager they said they were in a conference and I asked for a call back. She did call me back but then told me she couldn't talk to me because the reservation because it was in my boyfriends name. I did say but my card is on file. She said that doesn't matter. I am waiting to see what happens when my boyfriend calls and I hope they make this right. read more

A new and well-maintained hotel in a great location. The hotel is right off I 30 and a couple of minutes walk to the harbor. The hotel has plenty of parking. The rooms can be a bit noisy if it's facing the highway. The staff in the hotel reception were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. Definite 5 stars to the staff. The lobby has a bar with plenty of seating and work stations. Breakfast is complimentary in the lounge area. A very good hotel in the Rockwall area with plenty of food options nearby. read more

I never write reviews but had to to save the next bride this experience. If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. I booked a block of rooms here for my wedding and the staff completely ruined what should have been a stress-free experience. On the NIGHT of my wedding, they canceled my own room--claiming it was due to "maintenance issues." Imagine my shock when I stood in the lobby and personally witnessed them checking in another couple right after me. Clearly, this wasn't maintenance--it was dishonesty. I reached out to corporate several times, but the Rockwall location kept closing my claim without resolution and refused to return my calls. The lack of accountability and professionalism is beyond appalling. I have every reason to believe they oversold the hotel and deliberately canceled the rooms booked at lower rates first. To do this to any guest is unacceptable, but to do it to a bride on her wedding night is absolutely unforgivable. If you're considering booking a room block with them--don't. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and their customer service is non-existent. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere, because this hotel will not have your back when it matters most. read more

Overall the condition of the property is good where the front desk reception was welcoming. If I had to fault anything it would be twofold. Road noise is shockingly loud where the property provides a card in the room suggesting iOS or Android apps to provide noise to cover up the noise. While the hotel seems to have provided a mattress pad, the bed is simply put VERY hard. I got up the first morning where I was in pain. Yea it was that bad. All that said Marriott options in the area are limited where if you want a full up Marriott hotel it will tack on a half hour to your morning commute, potentially also requiring toll road fees. read more

The folks at the front desk are great. The lady that work on New Year's Day was great. But, I went out for dinner on 1/2/25 and talked everyone to come back to the hotel for an early night cap... and darn the luck the bar tender closed up shop and went home before 830!!! Are you freaking kidding me??? This was my 3rd time to stay here. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hilton 1/4 mile up the road. This was ridiculous. 13 people in my group not counting me came back for nothing. Hotel...Don't have a bar, just be a plan old Springhill suites if you don't want to be in business. The front desk told me the person only sold 4 drinks since 5! Who gives a crap? Most people go out to dinner and come back for a night cap. Learn your business!!! You don't have food and you're not a club! So after dinner drinks is where you will get your customers. Foolish mistake and it cost the hotel future business from me and others. Check in was a breeze. Very friendly staff at front desk. The room was nice and clean but there wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom. No worries though. The lady at the front desk met up with mini soaps within minutes and was as sweet as could be. The beds were extremely comfortable and the swivel tv and West Elm sofa were really nice. We could hardly hear the traffic so noise wasn't an issue at all. The only two things we didn't care for with the newer Springhill suites is: 1) The design of the bathroom door and no night light in bathroom. The door is a huge opaque sliding door so if anyone needs to go to the bathroom at night it's a super bright light shining into the entire room through the large opaque door. 2) The AC was nice and cool when we first got to the room, but then we woke up a couple of times with it really warm and muggy in the room. We didn't call the front desk because who wants to move in the middle of the night with a family of four. Someone posted something online about new hotel rooms having sensors that shut off AC when there's not movement so sound sleepers wake up to warm rooms. Not sure if this is true for Marriott, but if you like consistently cold air at night, room 418 here may not be for you. read more

4.5 * We had just checked in when we started hearing about Tornado Warnings. Must have been very well constructed because we didn't hear any wind noise or much traffic noise from very close IH 30. The TV mentioned a tornado on the ground and headed our way. The power did go out for a few hours, understandably. Only when the power went out did we open the curtains and witness a lightning show like none we've ever seen except in the movies. Wow! Great curtains because we had no idea there was that much lightning in the area. We were very lucky that the tornado went elsewhere. Sorry for the other areas that were damaged! Back to the room itself, can't believe there were only bedside outlets on one side of the king bed. Half a star just for that Room was very nice and clean. Comfy bed. Great curtains, as noted. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I also had an event at this location. For my event, Lanie was extremely helpful and showed true interest in my event. LaToya, the event manager that evening of my event, was available, kind, and extremely helpful while setting up and during the event. All the staff was kind and helpful from start to finish. Also, the location was great for my out of town guest. The catered food was tasty and hot. If another opportunity come to have an event, I would use this facility again. read more

July 17th in town from Phoenix visiting family. Decided to try Airbnb for the first time. Serious mistake. It was so bad there was no way I could stay there. I asked the BF to just pick a place, I didn't care. Anything would be better than this. I am SO glad he chose this hotel! I'm not sure how long it's been open but it feels brand new! Everything is so incredibly clean and well cared for! The shower is so clean you would think it has never been used. I tend to have rather high expectations and I was not disappointed. The only downside is the pool if it's important to you. It is literally the size of a large hot tub. Like so small I wonder why they bothered putting one in. We didn't plan on swimming so it didnt matter to us but if it does to you you may want to check out the Hilton down the hill. I believe the rate was $146 per night and it was worth every penny! The gentleman at the front desk in the evenings was awesome! I am one of those who needs extra towels, shampoo, pillows etc... He took care of everything without any sign of annoyance at my multiple requests. I made it a point to get his name and he even wrote it down for me... but of course, I lost it on the trip somewhere... So if you happen to read this please message me so I can update! Made a reservation several days in advance, got an email confirmation stating that I'm good to go for a king size bed room. When I arrived, the front desk lady said that they don't have any king beds available and the confirmation "doesn't guarantee a specific type of room". The email I received from Marriott actually says it does. No budging on her end, she was going to be right and I was going to stay in whatever room was available since I was already AT the hotel and it was too late to cancel. Man! So we check in at like 5 or something and it was the quietest I've ever heard a lobby. So nice!! The dude behind the counter even said "isn't it nice?!" I agree bro! The quieter the better!! Our whole stay was so quiet. You can hear the cars outside but turn the tv and a/c on and you can't hear as bad. The bed was pretty comfy and had plenty of pillows. The room upon checking in was clean looking as almost all hotels are. The bathroom was nicer than ours at home lol. The swivel tv was so nice AND it has Netflix! (Only complaint, Netflix didn't work the entire time. Would freeze and pixel up really badly. Or freeze the picture and audio would keep playing.) but we had cable so we watched regular instead. read more

This hotel seems brand new and everything here smells brand new. Everything about this place is good, and there's nothing that'll disappoint you. I love the whole look of the interior of the hotel. Everything is clean and we'll maintained. The service is great, and most rates have breakfast included. We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the SpringHill Suites. It is new and the beds were great. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff of the hotel were very helpful. They need a few more outlets beside the bed. I'm surprised that the developers of the new places don't add extra outlets. read more

We used Springhill Suites for our wedding room block and they were awesome! Rooms were super clean and are very big, great for the several families who were coming to our wedding. We also used our king suite for me and my five bridesmaids to get ready in, which was a bit packed but it still worked! Our original wedding rehearsal location got rained out and they were nice enough to let us use their side area of the lobby for our rehearsal. My husband and I also needed a place to practice our first dance and they opened up one of their empty conference rooms for us, which was super nice! Their complimentary breakfast was so good, I even went back for seconds. Every staff member we met was lovely and very accommodating. We would not hesitate to book with them again, if we are ever in the area. read more

We held a baby shower for our best friend at this hotel. Overall, we had a great time but there were a few things that made the experience pretty stressful. The Pros: The room size was good, and it was overall a clean space; the food was really good and there were vegan options; Cody (an employee, not sure of his title) was extremely helpful throughout the entire day, he deserves five stars for his help. The Cons: There was no planner present on the day of the shower and she was difficult to reach before the event; because the planner was missing, we had to move the tables ourselves with no direction on how placement was proper for the occasion; the front desk associate had terrible customer service, he was relaxing and watching television most of the time. There was rotting garbage left in room, thankfully Cody got rid of it for us; lastly, there were vegan options but the food was mislabeled and we had to track down the missing planner by phone in order to verify the vegan options. Long story short, Jackie, the planner was awful but Cody saved the day. If you choose to have an event there, you better hope Cody is working! read more
