Had a quick one night stay as we were hanging around the area and had some hotel credit to redeem from Chase. Check in @ 4pm and check out @12pm Parking Fee: $15 with in/out privileges Complimentary breakfast @ 7-9:30/10am? (Chase Travel Portal mentioned it began @ 6:30am) This hotel has 4 stories and an open parking lot that wraps around the building. There's no pool, but you will find a bar inside, a couple lounge areas with TV, a small 24 hour fitness center with water machine, and an outdoor terrace with seating and a few games. Upon arrival, the hotel was very clean and quiet. The front desk staff greeted me and was extremely friendly and fast to service. The elevator was a bit older and slow to operate. I booked a king suite and was able to request a higher level and far from the elevator to avoid constant noise. The rooms were about 360ish sqft and have an interesting, but functional layout. You'll find that it's pretty spacious with a long couch and ottoman, partition desk that separates the "bedroom" from the living area, a spacious and open bathroom that has a frosted glass and wooden sliding door (no lock). There is a TV off to the side of the living room and bedroom but it does pull out and move side to side to accommodate for whichever side of the room you are on. There are blacked out curtains and the AC worked amazing! There's a mini fridge and microwave as well. The bed was super clean and comfortable! The bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels, a makeup remover wipe, two bars of soap for the sink, and the shower comes equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles mounted on the wall. I enjoyed the walkability of the location! You have everything within a 20 min walking distance or a short 1-5 min drive. Important to note: you must place your room key inside a slot adjacent to the door to power the room. read more

Stayed over the weekend and overall had a great experience. The hotel itself had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. On Sunday night, the elevator broke down and we had to use the stairs. Staff informed us that a repair was being arranged and that it had been placed as an emergency order. Unfortunately, by the next day it still hadn't been fixed. Our room was clean with fresh sheets and was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also good. Stayed here last week for a night - the Springhill Suites Huntington Beach is a nice property conveniently located near the 405 freeway/Beach Blvd. It's a decent spot if you want to still be relatively close to Disneyland - but away from the hustle/bustle. Easy access to a major freeway helps you travel to other notable spots in the area. I had booked directly through Marriott, so was able to digitally check-in via their app, which made check-in on the day of arrival easy. Richard pleasantly greeted me, was prompt and professional - handed me my room keys, brief overview of the hotel, and pointed towards where the elevators are. He also handed me a little goody bag for being a Rewards member (albeit at a pathetically low tier, lol). My room requests for view/away from elevator was acknowledged. The room is larger than your average hotel room - sorta more like a studio setup. There's living space with a sofa that converts to a trundle bed, workstation with chair, kitchenette with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave, and then of course the bed and bathroom. It's nice to have a mini fridge/microwave since that's an amenity that a lot of hotels are doing away with. The fridge didn't have any controls to make it colder - but I imagine it's linked to the room's power system, which btw requires you to insert your room key into a slot near the door to enable power to your room. AC worked well - it's a loud wall unit, but you're in HB - the weather is relatively mild/comfortable most of the year, at least it was during my stay - so I didn't really need to use the AC for long. I just turned it on to see how loud it was/how easy it would be to manage to climate settings. Bed was comfy. More than enough pillows with four decent sized ones for my King bed. The lights on both sides of the bed are individually controllable - great if you're traveling with someone who doesn't share the same sleep schedule as you. Bathroom has a sliding door - no lock - something to keep in mind if traveling with someone. There isn't a solid partition either - the door has a frosted glass enclosure. Water pressure and temperature throughout my stay was great - no issues. There aren't individual toiletries anymore, just the bulk dispensers which I'm not a fan of - luckily, I just travel with my own toiletries. Complimentary breakfast was okay - nothing notable. I had the last crustless quiche - and that wasn't refilled for the rest of the morning. Waffle machine, cereal, powdered eggs, pork sausage, and a giant vat of oatmeal (with all the fixins on the side). Property itself has a lot of nice community areas. Decently equipped fitness center. No pool. A open air terrace on the 2nd floor with a giant chess board, pool table, a few lounges throughout the first floor with comfy seating. Security is great. All rooms are interior accessible, meaning their doors don't face outside. You have to walk past the front desk to get to the elevators. All side entrances are accessible only by swiping your room key, and the front doors lock after a certain time. Great if you're concerned about safety/traveling alone. *** I'm knocking off a star from my otherwise great stay because of the obnoxious parking fee of $15/night. I can't see why they would charge $15 for parking considering the area. Bella Terra is across the street, but I've never seen their lot completely full (which would cause people to overflow into other lots) - even on Black Friday. You're not remotely close to any of the major theme parks like Disney or Knotts. There was plenty of empty parking spaces in the lot when midnight rolled around. It just seems like a greedy cash grab "because they can". Usually, these extended stay brands offer complimentary parking, since some of their guests tend to stay for longer visits. $15 for parking just makes for a bad note on an otherwise pleasant stay. *** read more

It's a good solid hotel. It's right next door to an In N out burger too. The front desk clerk was nice and friendly and the lobby itself is clean and very functional. The small gym I peeked in didn't have a Peloton bike. Boo. The room was a good size but the carpet was a bit damp near the bathroom. No complaints with lots of lights, outlets, and a good shower pressure. It also has a microwave, which you don't find many these days in rooms. The breakfast ain't no Hyatt Place. It had bacon, those powder looking eggs, and one quiche (saving grace for this meal) as the three hot meals, but it was sufficient to head out to my business meetings. For a one-night stay, this hotel worked out. Wouldn't want to stay longer. Room was fine. I am not a fan of the layout of Springhill Suite rooms. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. All hotels seem to be pricey in Huntington Beach, but your money goes further at this one. We booked a suite with a king size bed. Our room was spacious, modern, and functional. Amenities included a TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, desk, and a sofa with an ottoman. There were lots of power outlets and USB charging ports. The free WiFi was fast enough for streaming. Shower pressure was good. Noise isolation was okay. We were able to hear some muffled conversation from the room next door but it wasn't too bad. No plumbing noise from neighbors. The parking fee is $12 per night, lower than other hotels in the area. We managed to find parking on the street and avoided the fee altogether. There's a small fitness center that has 4 cardio machines, a cable weight machine, a weight bench, and free weights up to 40 pounds. A free continental breakfast is served in the morning. The selection is a bit better than most, and it includes several hot items such as eggs, potatoes, waffles, and oatmeal. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here and enjoyed the useful amenities. Prices are on the lower end for this area, but our stay was actually free thanks to our Marriott card perks. Talk about maximizing savings! read more

Upon reading the reviews for this hotel, I was nervous about staying at this SpringHill. After staying the night at this hotel, I have learned that guest weee coming to this hotel with the notion that they were staying at the Ritz Carlton not a SpringHill Suites. Once expectations are set, I'm sure you'll find this hotel to meet your needs. The rooms are furnished with west elm furniture. The rooms feature a pull out sofa, fridge, workstation which divides the bedroom. The rooms are not huge but satisfactory. The bathrooms are super modern and clean. The lobby area is very modern too. There is plenty of seating in the lobby/dinning area. There is even a bar. In the morning they offer breakfast. Breakfast is ok, nothing too exciting, but enough to get you going. I think my only disappointment is charging for parking. That was unexpected when checking in. read more

I stayed here for two weeks for a work function. Based on that, I cannot speak on the value of the nightly rate due to the fees being paid by my employer. The hotel is surprisingly nice and welcoming. Their hotel lobby is nice with an abundance of seating, TV's and a full bar. They serve alcohol at the bar Mon-Sun from during evening hours. The front desk clerk doubles as the bartender. Unfortunately, drinks prices are on the expensive side. Long story short, four drinks cost us $80. There is a small gym located by the elevators. The gym offers dumbbells up to 40lbs, 2 treadmills, 1 bicycle, 1 elliptical and a cable machine. It is enough equipment with a large enough gym to get the job done. The gym can get packed in the morning hours. There is a small laundry room on the floor. As of this review it is $4 to wash & $4 to dry clothes. I stayed on the first floor and the room felt big with 15' ceilings. The room included a desk/chair, large couch with pull-out twin size bed, fridge and microwave. The only real negatives I experienced here are the room doors and continental breakfast. The doors are extremely loud and slam closed to the point where you can hear and feel it from your room. This can be annoying when you're sleeping with people coming and going. My room was located near an exit door to the parking lot and that door shuts pretty violently. The breakfast is pretty much what you would expect for continental. If you stay here long term, they breakfast menu doesn't change much at all. Depending on what you get, most things taste pretty bland. The mini waffles with peanut butter and syrup was the go to. Other than those two things, my stay was pleasant and I would stay here again. read more

This was a nice hotel that provided a complimentary continental breakfast. My room was clean and I enjoyed my stay. I found it a bit odd that the room key card had to be inserted in the slot on the wall in order for the electricity to turn on. Without inserting this, you cannot turn on the lights or TV. The continental breakfast had the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, fruits, etc., but I didn't have time to sit down and enjoy the breakfast. I grabbed a sausage & eggs muffin sandwich, sweet waffle, and a cup of coffee to-go before my morning meeting. Pretty good! The hotel has complimentary charging stations, but they were not Tesla friendly. I didn't have an adapter with me, so I could not take advantage of the free charging stations. Luckily, I had enough juice in my car to head back to San Diego. It would've been nice if the hotel provided adapters for Tesla owners, even if it was for a small rental fee. I also had a hiccup in activating the charging station. I wasted an hour of my time only to realize it was not compatible with Teslas....The male employee & I were in the rain trying to activate the app on my phone, and when it finally worked (we had to call the Helpdesk), we found out the nozzle did not fit my Tesla. It would've been nice if the hotel employee knew upfront that the charging stations were not compatible with Tesla. I had never charged my car in public so I didn't know any better. He was nice to stay with me in the rain. The small female employee was uptight and not the slightest bit friendly. I asked if they had any bottled water. She handed me a bottle, at the same time making a snappy remark that I should bring my own or purchase from their pantry. Fantastic stay for this price point. We stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. The location could not be better. Close to the freeway, next to a bank & credit union, and across from Bella Terra. Many food options, movies theaters, shopping and the beach within a few miles. We stayed in a king room with a sofa/trundle. The king bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was perfect. My adult son stayed on the trundle bed, and was really uncomfortable. He his very little sub-q fat, so I think the trundle option (adds room for possibly 3 small kids) would be fine for a family. The decor, linens, small appliances, and bathroom/toiletries, where all well equipped. There was coffee in the room, micro, and a refrigerator. Noise was not an issue. The 2nd floor terrace was really nice, and there was a small lobby bar, where the regular staff can whip you up a decent drink. I can understand the previous reviews that voiced frustration over the parking fee. I get it, but I lived in some apartments near there for a few years. The overflow parking from Bella Terra, and surrounding apartments would be impossible to control without some sort of fee. I liked that there was a security guard right in the front of the building. No worries about theft for me. The hotel & room are spotless, the staff was all very polite, and the breakfast is much more comprehensive than your Best Western or La Quinta INN for sure! POOR MANAGEMENT. I've previously stayed at another SpringHill Suites in Sacramento and loved it. I wanted to reserve a block of 10-15 rooms for our wedding in September. 7/8/24: I called and the front desk told me only the Sales Director Dan Cano can make those reservations and he was unavailable at the moment. They said they would pass along the message since Dan only works 9am-5pm. I received no response. 7/9/24: 10:40AM Front desk said Dan Cano was not in the office yet. 4:50PM Front desk said Dan was gone for the day, but they would relay my message for the following day. No reply. 7/11/24: 1PM Front desk said Dan was in a meeting and they would relay the message so he could follow up. Voicemail was left. No reply. 7/18/24: 2PM front desk Patty said Dan was busy and she would personally relay the message to Dan so he could follow up. No reply. 7/19/24: I drove 1.5 hours (from Riverside) to the hotel and the front desk girl said Dan and Patty were in meetings and provided me Dan's business card to reach him at his number. After requesting to speak to Dan to schedule this room block, the girl said they were busy and would not be available for another 20 minutes. When I asked to speak to any other associate that could assist us, she said they were the only 2 that could help. This whole experience disappointed my fiancé and I, especially since we loved the hotel in the past. Each associate followed a script as they redirected us to Dan, and the management was unprofessional, not transparent, and unable to communicate effectively resulting in us taking our business elsewhere. Worst stinking Marriott, ever, and WAY overpriced! LOUD door slams, car alarms, and a soiled worn mattressthat left me sleep deprived 3 weeks and $5,000 later for which I requested a minor adjustment to no avail. The sofa and ottoman were both dirty I covered with a sheet! Also, don't forget to put your card in the door slot or there's NO electricity, and the thermostat won't remain at the set temp! Once you exit the lobby and enter your room, it's akin to the Extended Stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but clearly lacks Marriott's high standards, like Dana Point and every other property I've stayed. MIni fridge freezes on top, spoils on bottom in a space easily accomodating a full size. Breakfast is a frenzy lined up for a 4 slice toaster and the lukewarm tea water. I'm sleeping all night in a comfy bed, fresh smelling, QUIET full kitchen suite for $95 EVERY night and no tax @ day 28 in Texas. Excellent breakfast, all areas are always spotless and it has a BBQ and pool. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! This is the BEST MARRIOTT, ever, deservant of 10 STARS! PS: Read the "not recommended" for the dirtystench origins... It was HOMELESS SHELTER IN 2020 during the convids and they never replaced the carpet, furniture or mattresses. While the rooms are more spacious than other Marriott properties I have visited and the included breakfast is good, I'm perturbed by the $12/night parking charge, the lack of any hot beverages in the lobby (usually there is coffee, decaf, and hot water for tea) and the lack of tea in my room. In my room, there are bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but no body lotion. For my electronic devices, there is only one bedside USB port for our party of 3, but more USB ports on the desk. Although there was an iHome sitting on the bedside, it was completely dead. This Springhill is located across the street from Bella Terra in Huntington Beach. It has free electric vehicle charging but you have to get a code from the front desk. The design is really cute and everything was really clean. What I didn't like is that the windows were very thin and even though I was on the highest floor I could hear sirens all night. This is a simple hotel, so there's no coffee shop or bar or restaurant but they do have a full breakfast in the morning and a Marketplace to buy bottles of wine and bottles of beer. There is a gym that's medium sized. There's no coffee service besides the one at breakfast. They seem to be short staffed and their breakfast is pretty late considering all the business travelers they have. The days we were their breakfast started late because they weren't ready and people were really pissed. There was also trash in the hallways for more than once seem like a normal amount of time if any of their team members ever walk down the halls which makes me think they don't have enough of a team. This is about 10 miles past John Wayne airport. I think regular parking was $10. They give you a parking pass. Overall, I would stay here again but only because how convenient the location is. read more

We were impressed with the quality of the insulation between rooms -- or the thoughtfulness of the other guests. We've stayed at a lot of hotels and by far we got the best night's sleep at this location! Apart from the occasional door shutting in the hallway, we heard very few noises; and when we did, they were muffled, as opposed to being able to hear way too much through the walls as has happened at other Marriotts at which we have stayed. We appreciated that the windows opened for fresh air since there's a nice breeze here which we prefer to the air conditioning. We were delighted with the prospect of playing corn hole on the rooftop patio but were disappointed that the legs on one of the two boards were broken. Thankfully we were able to use a giant Jenga block to prop up the broken corn hole board and we still had fun but it would have been nice had it not been broken. Also, two of the corn hole bags were missing so we had to improvise and alter the point scoring and game play. We loved the customizable Quaker oatmeal offered for breakfast -- the cinnamon, raisins, and bananas were all delicious toppings. Alas we were disappointed that there was no bacon, and we heard this sentiment echoed by other adults as well as a very sad youngster in another party's group. The coffee was sour, however the black tea was a fair start to the morning. The green tea looked good; however the natural flavors contained soy so we skipped this and opted for the plain black tea. In the evening we would have appreciated an herbal non caffeinated tea option. We also would have appreciated the Starbucks coffee pouches offered at other Marriott locations. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The pillows were also comfortable and the sheets were clean. The cleaning staff does excellent work -- this is by far the cleanest Marriott at which we have stayed. Please commend them on their attention to detail. It is truly appreciated staying at a hotel which has been cleaned of dust, the prior guest's hair, etc. This seems so basic, but is oft missed elsewhere, so we wholeheartedly thank you! The furniture is fantastic. We love West Elm, so we felt right at home. The ample reading light for books and crosswords is perfectly situated. The bedside outlets are also conveniently located. The glass shower is fantastic, and the sink has ample counter space. We loved the sliding barn door for privacy in a small space. The door hiding the mini fridge and microwave is a nice touch. The hair dryer actually dried my hair! It's tiny but powerful. Great choice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Despite the minor disappointments, we still give this location 5 stars because of its comfort, quiet, and cleanliness. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to others. read more

The establishment is nice and clean overall, but I have to knock down a couple stars for the design on the suites. The bathroom door is a translucent glasd sliding door and even my husband and when different family members used the bathroom overnight, the bathroom light illuminated the entire hotel room. It was awful. Both beds gave the bathroom and it was bright as all hell and I tried so hard to keep my toddler from walking up to the brightness. Stayed here for the weekend and we thought it was very nice. It is very modern! Very clean and beautiful. The location is great, not too far from Huntington Beach. Parking is $10 and were told that it gets compensated with complimentary breakfast - so forsure we took advantage of it. The rooms lights and tv is powered by your room key which was pretty cool and different. There is a terrace on the second floor, didn't get to make it out there but it seems really nice. Front gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and nice. Breakfast: it had a nice selection. The eggs were definitely from a box/powdered. They had fruits, hard boiled eggs, spinach, eggs, ham, waffles, pastries, 4 different juice selection, milk, cereal, oatmeal bar, and a coffee bar. We enjoyed it! I believe breakfast goes till 10 am. Communication: We were not told when breakfast started or when it ended. We had to ask our friends who were staying here. I read in the other reviews about communication and yes, they need to get on board with that. I called for a late checkout in the morning and the front desk says okay until 1 pm. Then at 11:45 am, a manager (I think) wearing blue with black hair knocks on our door asking if we had late check out.... I'm sure the front would let the appropriate people know. Before interrupting (significant other was sleeping) they need to communicate better. Which is why I took a star away. Bathroom: gorgeous bathroom!!! The most unprofessional person in the world management at night Michelle When I tell you rude, man this lady kick at my fur baby and I Had to take a step back. Those are my kids don't do that. My wife and I was sent here by our insurance company to stay a few night. All things that was asked were who is all coming to stay. We have two fur babies 1 year old and 1 1/2 multipoo. Babies. As We come back into the hotel a gentleman seen us and didn't speak, didn't do anything but walk past. Moments later boom boom on our door, it's the lady Michelle with two guys, no call or anything. She didn't say anything. I opened the door she says this " We are hot dog friendly, Get out and than they walk away. Wait what? First, you can't just beat on someone's door, like it what a police officer beating to make us open the door. I than step out, huh wait what? Y'all need to get out and my baby ran out and she reaches back to kick her, I'm like you bet not kick her. They than walk down to the elevator and I could hear her yelling everything as she went downstairs. Now, I'm just leaving out the ER, I had to get myself together and go down. She than begins to belittle me in front of her staff. Talking down to me, calling me names and than she was like Im charging you $500 now and than ran my card. Im like are you serious, we were told this was a dog friendly places and she was like nope we are not yet out and I'm charging you for the night. My wife quickie calls me, they just ran our card and than Michelle wouldn't give me a receipt. She than began bad mouthing me in front of every guest that came into the hotel. Only for her to find out that we had a letter that stated the note was dog friendly. It's how you go about doing things. She not at risk of losing her job no matter how unprofessional she was and is. She doesn't deserve to work with people and she doesn't belong in a place called the Marriott. That is a beautiful brand because of her I would never ever recommend or go to this hotel. The location of this hotel is the Best!! You are surrounded by so much shopping, eating, grocery stores and 20 minutes to Disneyland. You can walk across the street and get food,clothes and groceries. This is a newer hotel so everything was very clean and up to date. The morning breakfast was not as good as the marriot residence but it did the job. The suites are very spacious and bathrooms are very modern. The cons are no fruit selection for breakfast (they ran out) and please use real scrambled eggs not powder eggs from a box. The eggs they make are nasty. I wish they had pancakes, or frenchtoast daily. The pastries were to dried out. The 2nd floor is very nice for outdoor seating. See pics. Due to location, I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past few years, despite the fact that it's poorly run, horribly managed, incredibly dirty, and borderline unsafe. It's really one of the worst places I've ever stayed. The sheer incompetence of the staff is staggering. I'm a Marriott Ambassador Elite member and this is possibly the worst Marriott I've ever stayed in. Don't let the name fool you. This place is a dump. Short holiday weekend stay. Had a free night certificate and just needed to go out of pocket for one night. Close by to I-405 and the Terra Bella Terra mall. Parking comped because of my hotel status - Platinum is nice to have! Very new Springhill, lobby is very clean and well-organized with a bar. Nicely sized room with room card proximity readers. Your key card also controlled the power & environmental control. The nook with microwave/mini-refrigerator did not have the typical sink that is included with most Springhills. The light controls near the door did not include a light near it- these were minor glitches overall. Typical Springhill amenities throughout- complimentary WiFi, hot breakfast that's above most other Marriott chains, fitness center- no pool though. Very enjoyable stay. It was a great base to explore Huntington Beach! Will repeat and recommend! read more

I stayed this past weekend in Room 205 and there is some major design flaws in the room. 1. First off, parking lot is big so that's a plus. I believe you do have to pay for parking though. 2. Service and front desk was very accommodating! We were here for a wedding and they were fantastic, so 2 stars. 3. Breakfast in the morning is standard, eggs, sausage, some quiche, bagels, etc.. the simple stuff. Orange juice was pretty good though. 4. Okay this is a bit out of place, but room 205..... I'd recommend a new room if you stay here. The TV is way out of location. One of the beds will have no vision of it and the other at an angle. The bathroom doors seems like a cool design, but if you aren't sleeping alone and someone uses the bathroom in the middle of the night, you'd think it's the sun! Whoever decided to use these doors for the bathroom likely wanted to sabotage this hotel. Also, all throughout the day, you will hear the elevator arrive, depart, EVERY TIME OF THE DAY. Also, the water pressure was very meh and for some reason, far left of the shower adjuster handle is cold water. Normally, left side is hot water, but different here, I guess. Overall, I would not stay here again. The rooms are nice in theory. It's like a building that looks nice, but crumbles with a touch. If you do get assigned 205 or a close to the elevator room, ask for a new room. read more

Very clean and quiet, nothing to complain about. There's a lot of places to eat around the area and close to huntington main street.

We stood here a week ago. I was not empresses at all. The bar wasn't open for drink so we had to watch the super bowl across the street. I was management would of let us know that because I would of pick a different spot to stay. So we go up to our room. Decided to have a drink in our room and the ice machine wasn't working. Then we go and turn on the tv and it was very confusing to work. You had to program it through your phone or something idk but not a good thing. With that being said it would of been nice if we had the bar to come and have a cocktail. It also looked like from the picture that the hotel was next to the beach. Not at all next to a beach. Don't think I would stay here again read more

When I complained about the room at checkout, I was given a credit for the daily $10 parking fee they charge to park in their parking lot. When I called corporate (several times) regarding this hotel's issues I was told the manager would get back to me with a resolution. 2 months later I'm still waiting. This is a very nice hotel and especially for families. It has very comfortable beds and the fold out bed for an additional person is also very comfortable. It's got a great working space if you have to get some work done. The staff here was very kind. I only have a little advice for some management personnel. The front doors are locked for a specific amount of time in order to avoid homeless from wandering into the lobby area and helping themselves to some food, etc. I understand that as occasionally is a problem in various cities. I would strongly suggest a small sign or a placard on the door that clearly states doors will be locked from this time to that time. I saw no less than three people stand in front of the door for multiple minutes waive their hands, trying to get it to open with no success. Meanwhile, housekeeping is standing there, watching them, wave their hands and try and get into the building. When I mentioned there may be something wrong with the door sensor, I was informed of their rule to keep the doors locked up until a certain period of time. When I suggested they post to a sign to avoid people doing this long dance in front of the sensors, it did not seem to resonate with the personnel at the front desk as to the reasoning. Nonetheless, it's a suggestion. The other suggestion I have is, you've got a beautiful rooftop lounge that is not activated and has not been activated since we started staying here. The pendant lights, televisions, music, and anything else in that space was not on and working. No one used the space the entire three days we were here, and perhaps if it were activated, people would, indeed utilize the space. When it is not activated, individuals think it is closed. It serves no purpose sitting dormant. Just a suggestion to utilize a space that you apparently spent quite a bit of money on. The food in the morning, and the coffee was very good. Unlike many buffet type hotels, so nice job. Overall, it was a great day, and thank you very much. I definitely would want to inform upper level management of the various adjustments. We had a great stay at this property! We were only in for one night, visiting Huntington Beach, and stayed here to avoid the steep prices right near the pier. It was about a 15-20 min uber ride down to the boardwalk. The whole property felt new and well-maintained. Very spacious rooms and our stay was quiet. Breakfast is included and parking is $10/night. You are right by a mall and have a lot of access to shopping and restaurants. There is an In-N-Out in the parking lot of the hotel. If we are ever in the area again, I will for sure return! read more

Super convenient location walkable to all kinds of shopping. Nice rooftop deck where you can hang out and chill. Hotel is modern and clean, rooms are very spacious. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Breakfast doesn't knock your socks off - but they have grab and go items that you can take back to your room or even heat in the microwave. The only downer was that I didn't get housekeeping for the five days that I stayed. So I kind of had to make up my own room each day, put out the towels, and request new toiletries when needed. But I think that's the new norm due to Covid. So I don't really think it's anything unique to this hotel per se. overall I think this is a very convenient location, near tons of things, and close to the 405. The only caveat I would say is it's not near the beach. So if you're looking for a hotel near the beach this would not be the best location. read more

I am not sure where to start with this one. My family and I have stayed here before and the first experience was good. No issues. We decided to comeback, we spent 3 days at this location. We had our 4 kids with us. With that being said, our kids decided to crack a few Easter eggs on each others heads, of course it happened quickly so confetti was spread throughout the carpet. I tried to clean up as much as I could but there was still some left on the carpet. With that our trash was accumulating because trash isn't being taken out due to covid. My oldest daughter on the second day asked the housekeeper for trash bags and extra towels. The housekeeper sighed at her and gave her just the towels. We felt bad for "bothering her" so we went and gave her a $7 tip. The next day we went and asked for trash bags again... the housekeeper was on her phone and completely ignored us. I went to the front lobby and no one was at the front desk. So when we were checking out, my partner, whom is very generous, left a $40 tip in the room. I didn't think anything about the confetti, just that they would vacuum the room anyway. 2 days later I am charged the $80 deposit plus another $75 on top of that. I contacted the hotel and they got back to me, stating that they charged for the confetti and for the trash left. And that they would've charged $250 but they didn't. I am quite upset about the experience we had, and will no longer be staying at this location. I dislike leaving reviews like this, but in this case I had too because of the poor customer service I had. And was surprised about the charges. read more

Next to Bella Terra shopping center. 2nd floor terrace has lawn games (chess, corn hole, connect foour, Kenya and foosball). Close to target as well. We needed to stay here to attend a funeral at Peek and it was only a mile away. Rooms are clean and nice. They seem limited with staff because the toilet seat was broken and no one could come fix it. ZERO stars! The most unprofessional front desk ever! My friend was staying overnight and what I witnessed while dropping her off was unacceptable. I watched from my vehicle to make sure she entered the hotel safely. She was struggling to locate her key in her purse to enter the hotel since it was after-hours. Bobby at front desk saw her and while chatting with another patron, were obviously making fun of my friend while she was having a hard time. Instead of offering a paying guest assistance, Bobby decided it would be best to stay at the desk and laugh at my friend. This lasted for minutes. This was a little after 1 am. Why would it be funny to lock a girl outside at 1am in the cold? When Bobby finally buzzed my friend to enter, I approached him and asked him why he had done that and with a smirk stated "well, she didn't have her key." I asked if it was fun to laugh at my friend and he smiled with nothing to say. Bobby was condescending, unprofessional, and extremely infuriating. I would never stay at this establishment nor would I ever recommend it. Bobby also needs to leave the hospitality business because he has no sense of being hospitable. read more

What do you think of when you hear breakfast buffet? Well get that image out of your mind because it's nothing like that here. What a huge disappointment. Had to go out to eat after seeing what they offered in the morning. Also- their AC doesn't work well. I was hot all night because the air circulation was so poor. The room was stuck at 75 most of the night and then in the early morning it was at 74! That's after I had it set to 68. It never got near that number. My family and I won't be back- it's not worth the price. read more
