We have stayed at the Bedford Springs Resort and used the spa each visit-and every time it has been exceptional! Love the bath ritual (a tradition embedded in Bedford Resort being a mountain retreat since 1895). First you exfoliate in the hot/ cold deluge shower (alternating hot and cold sprays of water); then head in for a eucalyptus steam in the wet steam room. After sweating it out, take a deluge rinse. Then you alternate between the hot mineral bubble pool (hot tub) and cool mineral pool soak, which feels like hanging out in a wine chiller since it can only accommodate one persona at time. In the end, hydrate with refreshing cucumber aroma mist. Dan enjoys the same in the men's locker room and we end up coming back together in the co-ed lounge for fruit, granola and tea- and nappy lounging. This is one of my favorite spa lounges because, not only can we share time together after doing the bath ritual in our respective his-n-her locker rooms, but the floor to ceiling windows offer ample sunshine and beautiful views of the mountains. There is an outdoor patio, but we have only been here in cooler months and have not had a chance to hang outside. Our massages have been memorable and relaxing. The service top-notch. If you have a spa treatment, you can come and go through the day, so we sometime leave for lunch and come back for a repeat bath ritual. It's a beautiful experience.

I've been coming here for years. After nearly 2 years of the pandemic this was well overdue. The bath ritual was perfect as usual. I got a 65 minute Himalayan stone massage with back exfoliation. Aaron did a great job. They changed the chaise lounge chairs in the quiet room. Ok but no blankets. I assume that's due to the pandemic . Ugh. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Thank you.

The massages my husband and I had were outrageously expensive gif the service we received. Too bad the hotel is lovely.

Hands down, the best haircut and facial I have ever received!…read more Harmony Hair and Day Spa is an amazing gem located in historical downtown Bedford, PA. From the moment I first walked in the door I felt welcomed and relaxed by the soothing environment and friendly staff. The level of professionalism and quality of services at Harmony far exceeds that of other salons and spas in the area, and are even better than the most of the high-end salons I have been to in NYC and San Francisco (for a much better price too). The menu of services is extensive, including a full range of hair, skin and makeup, nail and massage services. The staff is extremely personal and knowledgeable about the products and services that are best for each of their customers and are well informed on the latest trends and styles. I will certainly be visiting Harmony again the next time I am in Bedford, and may even consider making the trip for the haircut alone!

The salon is well appointed and relaxing. There are private styling booths, which is a plus. Before beginning the stylists sits you down and discusses what you want, then gives a relaxing head massage before going off to get shampooed. In the beginning I was happy with what I got, but then things started going down hill. I ended up with a cut completely different from what I wanted and had shown pictures of. This happened multiple times. While the salon aims to be a high-end salon I feel it just misses the mark in the details. There isn't a full time receptionist so during my appointment my stylist has stopped and left to go answer the phone. During one coloring she had a lengthy personal conversation, which I think took her attention away from what she was doing because the color didn't turn out as discussed. Definately better than one of the chains you find in a strip mall, but wasn't a great fit for me any more.

I tried 3x for the old Roman bathhouse and had to resort to calling the main bathhouse to reserve. The lady on the line was very knowledgeable and warm. Five people reserving and 1 person reserving all get the same one room. There were 4 of us in our group and we got this room for 30 min. It is pretty small but would be fine for 2 people, I feel. The water was very hot and we did have to add cold water at intervals. It's our fault for doing this in the first week of June (weather was about 85 and sunny outside!) I can see this being a spot of refuge in the colder months! There was a tank of cold spring water for drinking. This bathhouse just had 1 bathroom that was roomy enough to change in but no other changing rooms. The receptionist and staff were very nice. I appreciated the printout with all the minerals in the water listed. That was informative and so interesting. We also additionally bought a jug to load up their mineral spring water! This was not a cheap activity but we loved the park and the attraction and history behind everything. First person is $32 and then additionally $22. There are age discounts.

A facial above and beyond "treat yourself", you will feel changed!!…read more As an early Mother's Day gift I enjoyed a wonderful Signature Chemical Peel and facial from Marybeth at Elements last month. The experience and results were amazing. My formerly dull, problem skin is now glowing and looks at least 10 years younger! In the past I've wasted so much time and money on dermatologists, they just write an Rx and tell you to cleanse with cetaphil. This treatment has been a game changer for me. Three weeks on I'm still enjoying the results. The spa is a very tranquil, soothing environment, so easy to relax there! Marybeth was very knowledgeable about the Image Skincare products and very attentive to my needs throughout the facial. It was extremely effective without being painful at all. I loved the products in my post facial kit so much I returned to buy them full size. I highly, highly recommend Marybeth at Elements for facials and can't wait to schedule my next service!

When you first walk in to the fitness center you have to go towards the back to get to the spa. Once you walk through the door you feel the tranquility and the serenity of a spa. It's a great little space, very welcoming and comfortable. If you are looking for a good Esthetician in the Cumberland area Tiffany is your girl. My facialist (Tiffany) was a sweetheart. She's very knowledgeable and gives you the full spa treatment. She also does a great scalp massage! Elements offers a wide range of effective high-quality skincare products. They use a line of Yonka skincare products that are plant based from France. Since I like to use a holistic regimen, I was thrilled. It was great I will definitely be going back! They offer a monthly membership at a discounted price. Fab idea! Hope to bring my husband in for a facial. Maybe we'll do a couples spa day and also get in a massage.
