Here is my honest review after finishing a project with Sprint Remodeling mid Dec 2021. I will only be stating facts that happened throughout the project. Please hire at your own discretion. I found Sprint Remodeling through Angie's List. I hired them for a demolition of an outdated entertainment system and to create a new one around my fireplace. I hired them b/c they knew exactly what I wanted and they said they were able to do it for an agreed price, if "I sign today". I signed and the project would start a week later. I had no contact with Sprint to confirm a time they will come on the set Project date. I had to reach out to them and they said they had the wrong phone number, however my correct phone number was clearly on the contact (also Sprint initially contacted me at my same phone number to set the first contact). With all that said, the project would not start until a couple days later b/c they still need to buy all the materials. Right before the project getting started again, I get a call from Sprint saying they need an extra $1500 extra due to rise of lumber costs and more unseen estimates that they did not see initially. Due to time constraints, I was willing to pay the extra $1500. Looking back at it, I believe the extra cost was due to failed communication with the Project Manager and their contractor, as the contractor thought it was going to be a more labor extensive job that involved building more cabinets for the entertainment system, which it did not. On the day of the new project date, Sprint brought in the lumber. However it was a cheaper lumber which can be found in any Home Improvement store and not the agreed upon lumber per the contract. The crew had to take it back and the new project date again was postponed. Project finally got started few days later and Sprint guaranteed that they'll get it done by the agreed completion date. I still had to continuously contact them to get a time of arrival and if they will show up that day. That eventually subdued once we got a rhythm going, as I had a better feel of when they will arrive. In summary, the lumber was cut and painted how I wanted. The stone veneer on the fireplace was installed incorrectly b/c the designed corner pieces were not purchased and the proper 45 degree cuts were not used to avoid large gaps. The end result left large gaps that they said they can fill in with grout or put a stone border to hide the gaps which I did not like the look. I told them to demo the veneers and start over with the designed corners and the 45 degree cuts. Once finished, the result clearly look much better. With the redo of the fireplace, it pushed back the completion date a few days later. Overall, communication was poor with the Project Manager. Their woodworker was pretty good and listened to what I wanted. Mortar person could be better at the cuts he made on the stones to make it have a more cleaner look. Also the arrangement of the stone color could be more varied as the fireplace looks like one side of the fireplace was grouped with the darker stones, and the other side of the fireplace was grouped with the lighter stones. Once everything was all finished, the look of the entertainment system was only good/mediocre with most improvements can be made on the fireplace. Final conclusion, unfortunately I would not recommend this remodeling company to a friend/family due to communication issues and driving up the price after the contract was agreed upon. read more

Had a HORRIBLE first call with someone from from Sprint. He called me after I filled out a request on Angi. I tried to explain what we're looking for (our contractors cabinet guy is all of a sudden unavailable at the start of our remodel so we're in a pinch) and he cut me off saying "I won't work with other contractors" in a really rude way. I can't imagine how difficult they must be to work with if this is the first impression. read more

I got their Information via Angie's list. Spoke with a Harold and had set up a time to receive an Inspection and a quote today. We agreed at 4:30-4:45. He called back that we agreed at 2:30. I clearly did not make an appointment at 2:30 as I would still be at work. So we again agreed at the time stated before. I left work earlier to be here and meet Harold. It is now past 6pm, no call no show and of course no one to pick up the phone. So basically I've been stood up by these guys. If this is how they operate their business. I'm glad I didn't go through with this. I normally hardly ever leave any reviews but having to leave work early to be stood up just pisses me off. My fault, I should have yelped the reviews. Looks like Harold has done this several times. Same thing, wrong appointment times, and no shows. I'm glad I only wasted my time and not my money. read more

We had a deck that had water damage. Requested a quote through Home Advisor with Sprint because they had good reviews. They called me immediately after the request went in, quoted the biz on site and finished the job in 2 days. Really great experience. When we thought we were going to have to tent for termites Issac even offered to watch my sons lizard and our dogs because we weren't going to be able to take them to the hotel. No joke. Our condo association hired Sprint to paint the exterior of the building and fence, as well as replace the deck treads with new Trex. Sprint was great, and the project manager Isaac was amazing. I've worked with contractors for 30 years as part of my job and I've literally never worked with as responsive and thorough a contractor before. Isaac was in touch daily. He was onsite a lot in the beginning and touched base with me daily to see if I needed to speak with him or meet in person if he wasn't here that particular day. The workers were great and it seemed like a tight crew. If you've been in the construction business for any length of time you get a feel for how a team works together and this team was like a well-oiled machine. If I pointed out anything that could have been done differently they were right on it, and they helped with a few things outside their contract, as well. We added a front light and new numbers on the building and Isaac came down before dawn on three separate days to adjust the light so it wouldn't be too bright or shine in any neighbors' windows. They finished a few weeks ago and already the homeowner's association has agreed to bring them back for at least one other project that we'd had on hold forever. I have some remodeling to do in my unit next year and they'll be the first company I call for a bid. read more

Sprint replaced our rotting water service line from the street to the house in a day. They did a lot of work in that day to ensure we could get our water to the house up and running. There was a lot of trenching because of the size of the front yard, they were able to get the new pipe in without cutting the driveway and put in a beautiful new copper water service line. We had the inspection today and it passed with flying colors. Thank you for the fast and quality work. We will definitely be using Sprint Remodeling again. read more

Highly recommend! I'm an apartment renter and Spring Remodeling & Design was used to help with some extensive leaking in our bedroom ceiling from the rain this past winter. I worked directly with River and can't say enough good things. He is INCREDIBLY responsive and provided updates on timing, repairs, issues via text. Sprint remodeling recently completed a major project in my back yard. They removed about 500 sq ft of 70 year old concrete and replaced with pavers. We just finished our two bathroom remodel with Sprint, and I have to say our family was more than pleased with the job!. Isaac and his cousin Moses gave us a great design, were very detailed on the cost, and Isaac was either at our home everyday or in contact with us. After the work was done, anything that we saw needed correction Isaac made sure it was fixed. I tend to feel bad about bringing stuff up, but he said that the job had his name on it and his job was to make sure we were happy with everything, which we were. I spent almost an hour talking to these people over the phone because they have so many salespeople/schedulers/dispatchers etc. I confirmed the appointment the day of - they never showed up. When I called to ask why they didn't show up to a confirmed appointment the dispatcher got on the phone. He basically told me how it was his job to confirm the appointments and beyond that it simply "wasn't his job" to make sure people showed up at the confirmed appointments. So I asked to speak with the owner. At first the dispatcher told me I have little chance of speaking with the owner as the owner "simply doesn't care enough" to speak with me. He said "If I can't get the owner to show up to an appointment then how do you expect me to get him to speak with you on the phone." After I demanded to speak with someone else, I got "the owner's brother" who had little to contribute. He basically couldn't explain it, didn't bother apologizing, and basically had a "go screw yourself" attitude. If you have lots of time and money to throw away then hire these losers! read more

I needed a quote for fascia boards for my house. Not to mention the name, I contacted two companies that links the contractors to you. I ended up being swamped and overwhelmed with the number of calls I felt like my head was about to explode. Besides pricing there are little things that I look for when hiring someone to do work. I have had my share of bad so-called contractors (no license, trying to charge me twice the price, don't show up, show up late, don't respond, "find" additional issues, etc.). So who do you trust? Isaac from Sprint Remodeling & Design showed up early, looked me in my eyes and introduced himself. He listened to what I was saying and did a walk around. Isaac informed me that the majority of my existing boards were still good and all they would need to do is sand them down and paint them. Whereas another contractor stated that all the boards would need replacing, of course this would be a higher charge. He went on to show me past jobs and customer testimonals. Feeling comfortable with him, I decided to enter into a contract with him. He wrote up the proposal and gave me the scope of work. He did everything he said he was going to do. He said his workers would start at 8am, they were at my house at 7:40am, they were polite and professional and at the end of the day they cleaned their mess. The job was completed timely. Another thing I liked about Isaac is that I dealt with him only and at the end of the job he made sure it was completed to his standards prior to receiving the final payment. I will be working with Isaac at the beginning of next year to install seamless gutters. I would definitely recommend him and his company. read more

In April of this year I signed a contract with Sprint to remodel a 1955 bathroom in which plumbing and fixtures were not merely old but decimated by life with teenagers throughout the 80's and 90's. It was a mess. Today, that bathroom is luxuriously beautiful, functional for an aging person--very important--and the job was completed in a timely way. Moses was my reliable contractor who gave excellent advice. At completion, there was one minor problem, but there was no question on their part that it would be fixed. It required a half day's additional tile work to adjust the floor so that the shower door would open effortlessly. Attention to detail like that was so impressive that I have now hired the team for additional work, including a more extensive job repairing all the stucco, new gutters, and painting the exterior of my house. Again, long time left undone so much is needed. The job is not simple cosmetic paint but repair and gutter work. I trust Sprint completely. Finally, I cannot say enough good about the workmen, most of whom have been with the company for many years. I really admire their diligence and expertise. I lived for a long time with a perfectionist husband. This is work that would have won his approval. read more

There are quite a few things that I liked about this company because in the past we used and researched others companies. One was for my parents and they did awful work and didn't clean up after themselves. We used a company for our own backyard they didn't do a good job either. We called Sprint and the experience was night and day!!! Way better than the companies we used in the past. The backyard was so pretty and the fence was new and taller.
