Unfortunately, I have to give 2 stars mainly because of the customer service in the sandwich section. The lady named Rosie is consistently very rude to customers. I've personally experienced it, and I've also seen other customers treated the same way. At times, we've wanted to order sandwiches but decided to skip the section entirely if she was working. On the positive side, the rest of the staff is always kind, friendly, and helpful. It seems that customer-facing service may not be the best fit for everyone, and perhaps she would be better suited for a production or back-of-house role instead. read more

So incredibly amazing...Frankie and Reed made magic happen again last month with a beautiful rib roast. They were super accommodating, I was able to coordinate the weight/size, pick-up time, etc.. I feel pretty lucky and special. It is beautiful feeling when you are not only known but also treated so nicely...it brings back the nice feeling of having a local butcher who really wants to do what they can to make you happy. Sprouts is one of my favorite grocery stops, especially for produce and meat. The fruits and veggies are always fresh and well-stocked. Their meat selection is by far the best when it comes to organic, pasture-raised, air-chilled options and the prices are often better than other stores. I've been coming to this location for a couple years now and the store is clean, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. read more

Beware if you're a person of color shopping at this store. My husband (who is black) was racially profiled by a cashier after he fully paid for his items tonight. She followed him to his car and took a picture of his license plate. Confused, he asked what was going on and she stated "I know what you took". He let her know he'd be happy to provide his receipt (as he had fully paid for his items), and she then claimed she thought he was "someone else" and then skulked back to the store. Maybe try not harassing your paying customers. read more

I love Sprouts! They have everything I want and need, from organic produce and exotic fruits and vegetables to allergy friendly foods and supplements. I love that they stock specialty brands that I can't find elsewhere. The staff are usually friendly and helpful, and if they don't have the item I'm looking for they're often able to order it in. Soooo disappointed in this place. Every single week I take a rain check that I fail to keep track of because they fail to keep their sale items stocked.. so what's the point of sending out a mailer really? You ask their people for help and they look up at you with just their eyes. It's really not a friendly place. The produce seems to get reorganized every week as well, making grocery shopping extremely inefficient. This was my first time here after hearing about it from my friends in California. This market is very clean and the prices are really good! The produce that we purchased was nice and fresh. This is quickly becoming my favorite place to buy groceries. I've also been a huge fan of Sunflower but would only go once every few weeks (especially on Wednesdays when their weekly ads cross over which mean double the savings). But now I find myself going every weekend and loving it compared to my trips to the other big supermarkets in the area. They have the freshest produce out of any store in the area along with a wonderful selection of regular and organic. They have free samples throughout the store of their meats, cheeses and sushi and originally I thought they would be a ton more expensive than others but their prices are quite reasonable. Be sure to check out their bulk bins--not only do they have candies and sweets but they also have rice, nuts and flours at amazingly low prices. Their parking lot is a cluster but it's worth a trip to this place, remember to bring reusable bags, you get $.10 off per bag!! read more

This is my go to place for produce. When I moved back from California I was pretty depressed over the lack luster produce selections from kings, and safeway. But then I found sunflower market and my world turned bright again. They have an awesome wide selection of fresh produce, at not ridiculous prices. Beware though however of their prepared food. I'm pretty sure they use the stuff that has expired on the shelves to make there salads, snacks, and dinners. I end up regretting it every time I purchase them. read more

It doesn't have a big selection like a regular grocery store (their produce section is limited) or Whole Foods but it's a great place for fresh baked bread by Udi's or their own bakery. Many organic and local products to chose from as well as many sales throughout! A good bulk bins section for dried fruit, granola, various nuts, and candies as well. Although the fruits are cheaper than kings sooper, some of their organic boxed products can be pricey though. Love it though. Quaint, small, but friendly. Will definitely keep checking their weekly sales flyer! This place HAS to be from the same owners of Sprouts farmers market! read more

My biggest complaint about this Sunflower is that it is not close enough to my house. The produce specials are fabulous. Walk in the door and then decide what you are going to make for dinner that night. It is fun to shop in this grocery store. read more

I attempted to return an UNOPENED supplement with RECEIPT at this location but was told by the Manager who's name I believe is Jenessa that I had to return it at the original location I purchased it from. Considering I've been shopping at Sprouts for 10+ years and very aware of their policies, it was very obvious she was lying so I went to my car and called customer service and spoke to a representative who then verified the return policy, letting me know I can return the item at any location and said she would call the store and speak with Jenessa. However, Jenessa proceeded to lie again, claiming that the item was not one that they carried on the shelf. I went to the Vitamin Dept and had the lady working there verify that it was in fact on the shelf as she notified the customer service representative as well. I've never experienced such unprofessional and unethical customer service by a Manager and with Natural Grocers located just a few blocks up the street, with better customer service and more competitive prices it makes no sense to continue to shop here read more

Making fruit salad for 46? Sunflower Market YES! They have by far, the most reasonable prices on produce anywhere in the city. It's not always local, and you can't always get something that's out of season, but what they do have is sure to be a great deal. Observe: 2 for $1 Avocados?, 4 for $1 Grapefruits? 5 for $1 Corn? 2 for $4 Blackberries?! YES! The prices are silly, as they would say. And it's not just the produce, there's always a good deal on yogurt, deli meats, hummus, and much more. They also have a pretty impressive bulk section. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is that their fish counter is a bit below par. It never looks all that fresh, and the few times I have braved the "fresh salmon," it's been pretty fishy. Also, they gouge you on dry goods, excepting the bulk section. Maybe they're trying to send me a message that I should lay off the kettle chips? Overall, it's an amazing market, and a great alternative to Whole Foods. My best piece of advice would be to come without a list and see what they have on special. If you don't have your heart set on a specific brand of pop tart or microwave burrito, you will come home with a load of fresh food, for what seems like pennies. read more

Pre covid Sprouts was the place to go for produce and bulk food. It was truly a farmers market for the people. By people I mean people that appreciated healthy eating on a budget. It was always packed and the vibe was exciting. They put out product that wasn't always perfect or fresh but that's the point of a farmers market. It's not going to be Whole Foods. Post covid the focus is organic and Sprouts is expensive. The store is usually almost empty with 3 or 4 employees chatting away around the one open register. The sad part is the produce quality is really poor as well as expensive. Sprouts should either go completely upscale with the very best or go back to a farmers market. You can't have it both ways and succeed. read more

This place is the flipside of the movie, "Back To The Future." Sunflower Market is totally "Forward To The Past." Prices are so low (compared to Whole Buncha Money Foods) that it's like you're shopping in the 1980s. Now not all of their stuff is organic. So the soap you may find yourself buying pro'lly isn't "free range." But if you're choosey you can get the same goods at SM as you can at W(T)F, and come out 30%-60% ahead. The folks are nice. The clientele is real (as opposed to Cherry Creek surreal), and it's just down the street from Chez Artiste movie, so with your savings you can take your honey on an impromptu movie date without lightening your wallet. I am a cautiously optimistic fan of this little market! I wandered in because I was in the neighborhood, killing some time. I was impressed by the sheer volume of the produce available, and how nice it looked. I enjoyed the wide isles and not being run into by snarky mean people in a hurry in too-small grocery isles. It was clean and spacious. The caution part..... I purchased some chicken tenders and a bunch of veggies. I noticed that the chicken dewatered in the pan significantly, and wonder what that's about. ???? My packaged sliced mangos were not quite ripe, and were 3.99 (and in Trader Joes, I purchased twice as many for 1.99 and they were perfectly ripe) Still.....A nice alternative, lower key and more relaxed than Whole Foods, with much better prices. The staffs are always helpful in answering our questions. This recent visit was on Tuesday September 16th 2014. Time was about 17:20hrs ish. We went here after work. I really haven't been much of a Sprout's shopper in the past. I am a creature of habit mostly so I go certain places to get specific things. I was turned on to a certain kind of salad dressing that is only available in certain places. Sprouts being one of them. It was late at night and the large glass front of the building made it look like you were walking into the brightest lit building in all of Denver. I was able to find what I needed easily and when I needed help to locate something there was someone always close for directions. I am more of a fan of Sprouts every time I visit this location. read more

Not every day do we face an emergency room visit for a severe migraine, and not every day to we plan to be misdiagnosed with a rare bone cancer that has apparently 'metastasized,' or possibly a rare blood disorder that leaves us hanging onto just weeks of life. But it was a higher power giving me a wake- up call, with an alternative to experiencing another painful fracture and opening my mind to the fact that I am nutrient deficient. Yes, my closed mind said 'I am ok' and cut back on all my nutrients, after all, back in the 60's Lawrence Welk sold us on Geritol, which was pretty much sugar, caramel flavorings and the vitamin B complex. So in between being poked, prodded, x rayed, cat scanned, MRI-ed, biopsied, I started thinking about what would be the most obvious mineral missing from my bones. It couldn't be that complicated, or am I a moron for struggling with this equation? I slapped my hand against my head and realized it was boron. So none of the other pharmacies or health food stores carried this mineral. I last- chanced- it, and drove to this Sprouts, where loud oldies music screams out from invisible speakers, as the baggers dance to the beat, while customers try to remember the words. Staying alive by the B Gees blasted it's way through my ears at the register while my products were being scanned, and I learned that it's used to teach CPR for the beats per minute, although I would hope my savior would not gyrate his hips to the rhythm while compressing my chest. The subliminal suggestion of the song was real and frightening. We must take care of ourselves because there are people who depend on us and love us dearly. So before my neck turns to dust, I will pretend to be a doomsday prophet, and warn everyone of the possible scenarios as we grow older, and disregard the need for our additional mineral supplements; since it's that or a pet rock to keep you company and wait for the grim reaper to find you alone. And a half an hour after taking my new selection of minerals and supplements, the B Gees, "Staying Alive" thrummed through my brain, while the sensation of someone pouring hot water cascading down the back of my head and neck flowed through me, bringing my body back to life with its natural healing powers. I am not angry at the doctor for listening to the radiologist, and no I am not angry for donating free tissue samples. I am grateful for this Sprouts for having a substantial vitamin and supplement selection, and I am grateful for being able to see the truth. And I am grateful for the wake-up call from deep space. Yes, I do feel the need to carry on my great knowledge to the masses but apparently, that's due to a low level of estrogen. read more
