So my local little Whole Foods is small so I love to make the drive to this one to get some items were out of all the time so it's nice it's still close. They always have the steak I want along with they have the PACT clothing in store to enjoy if you want great quality organic cotton clothing. The service is awesome just like the Littleton location. I shop at this WholeFoods every week and I'm happy with the food quality, service, environment. Whenever I've had a problem, they are happy to fix it quickly and effectively. I buy whole roasted organic chickens frequently. One time the chicken was undercooked. I didn't bring the chicken back, I brought the receipt and they refunded the entire chicken. Staff are efficient, friendly and very helpful. Also they have lovely clothes there which never thought of buying. Many are made from organic cotton. Watch for sales because they are great value. The clothes I get the most compliments on are from WF! read more

I finally hung up after 10 minutes of being transferred from person to person, who each time had no idea why I was calling and showed little care in helping me. I called to ask produce "if they can check that the organic dill is currently in stock". Each person showed little interest and transferred me or put me on hold very quick. Many decades later since I stepped into my first Whole Foods, and I still *love* this grocery store. Organic produce and products. Fabulous meats and seafood. Gorgeous and delicious bakery items. Specialty spices and condiments. Excellent staff who are always willing to help and so knowledgeable. I was a bit worried when Amazon took over at the helm, but recently decided to make another visit to see how things are now. Well good news for Amazon, I still *love* Whole Foods. Some are a bit better than others (eg like this one the best in the CO area so far). They are my most favorite store to pick up food for special occasions, and more recently even for for regular shopping. read more

I have reviewed this Whole Foods a couple times previously. It is my main go to grocery store. I have given the store, poor reviews in the past. But today I want to complement the store because the shelves were well stocked, product was pulled forward, and most importantly to me, the salad bar was nicely stocked with fresh looking greens of all varieties and ample amounts of fresh veggies all looking pretty fresh And yummy. And on top of it, the hot food bar looked pretty full and fresh itself. I even saw a Whole Foods employee with a clipboard walking around and checking things. This is a very different experience than I've had in the past and I hope it is one that will continue every day for all those Whole Foods shoppers out there that rely on the store. This used to be an awesome Whole Foods (pre-Amazon days) with a fully functioning (and stocked) pizza bar, ramen bar, etc. Ramen bar hasn't been open in I can't say how long. Most days you're lucky to find any pizza. Last time I checked, there was a girl "working" (using that term very loosely) at the pizza station not doing anything and there wasn't even one slice of pizza available. Today I stopped in for some yogurt (didn't have any - shelves were practically empty). Checked for the non-dairy creamer I like and no luck there either so, as seems to be the pattern the last few times I've wasted my time stopping at this store, I walked out empty handed. As I walked down the frozen foods isle, I noticed those shelves were only about 40% stocked -- at 3 p.m. on a Wednesday! There were two customer service reps standing at the front of the store talking to each other and not working. And there were the constant zombie workers going around "shopping" for the people too lazy to do their own shopping. Maybe if Whole Foods hired employees to STOCK THE SHELVES and actually work while "working" their store wouldn't suck so bad. Last time I'm wasting my time with this store. read more

Brought my food and ate upstairs and was walking to the garbage when a womans dog aggressively barked and was very close to me as I walked by. She apologized and I think she had to pull him back. Who knows if he would have bit me. Talked to two different staff members, one who heard him bark at me but did absolutly nothing. Same employee listened to me about it but couldn't care less. Another employee behind him either. Was told only service animals allowed but this dog was clearly not one. But staff doesnt care about this, their customers or their safety. read more

The guy who made my Ramen was great he made my food slowly and Precisely. I could really tell he made it with passion. After shopping I tried the ramen and it was delicious. Time and time again we give this location a try. My son loves their feta, only reason I went. My other son wanted a hot rotisserie chicken....we walked along the back, past the bakery, cheese, deli, up to the pizza/deli section. I was like where is it? I turned to a white guy with redish/blond hair and a full beard, in the deli and asked where they were...he was SOOOO irritated I interrupted his eating and conversation with two female coworkers...he rolled his eyes, huffed and motioned his eyes in another direction, Over BEHIND a pillar were a FEW rotisserie chickens. We had the most incredible service by multiple team members last night. We decided last minute to make a bunch of pizzas for the 4th of July. We went to another store and they were out so we thought why not swing by. Whole Foods like most places the day before the 4th was out as well. I asked an someone for help, she brought me to another person and they said let me see if I can help. She went in the back and grabbed 8 pizza doughs for us. Then she introduced us to another person who helped us with enough pizza sauce for those pizza's. At checkout, we dropped some sauce. Some different team members came over and helped and we had a great conversation. I was blown away by the entire team and CULTURE hers. I left inspired. After running all the errands needed in this part of Neighborhood, we wanted to get something from WFM. So to this WFM SouthGlenn we head to. Time was at 20:21hrs ish. August 23rd 2013... Wahhhh..... this is one of the Bigger WFM we have been to. Maybe due to the timing we were there, NOT so many people so I like it, WITHOUT The Crowd. But deep inside me, I inhale OR exhale the **SIGH** Can this be a "HaPpY" Sigh??.. I bet to differ. Yes certain items are expensive, some items are reasonably priced. We need the things we need since we ran out of it. * Herbal Tea = $5.49, CHECK * Sauce = $2.99, DOUBLE CHECK * Stew = $5.99, TRIPLE CHECK Then I caught hold of the bakery section, and wanted something sweet hence the purchase of : * 4 French Macaroons at $1.00 each = $4.00 That evening, the options were Vanilla, Lemon, Chocolate, Raspberry and Pistachio. So I opt to purchase Chocolate, Lemon, Pistachio and Raspberry French Macaroons. * Fresh Fruit Tart = $4.99 From the Bakery section, I ask the lovely staff who was behind the counter and who handled the Bakery goods, about the Cakes they have. They require like 2 or 3 days in advance if you want WFM to bake that Special Occasion cake etc etc. Found out the "ICE CREAM" aisle/section, WHY OH WHY?? Hmmm, Definitely NEED to check whether Albertsons, KS, Natural Grocers, Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Super Target or even Super Center Walmart, selling those "ICE CREAM"... I do like this WFM but DEFINITELY it will be a treat to come here, let alone any WFM to begin with. As a decades-long faithful customer of Whole Foods, I appreciate immensely that this market continues to operate after changing ownership. I shop mainly at the busiest if south suburban location, and occasionally at others in the Denver and suburban areas. In general I'm still able to find simple, clean and to some extent organic foods. It's not clear how impending changes in the stores will affect customer experience. My concerns are relatively small, for example whether the company will expand use of seed oils such as canola. All food shopping today requires attentive reading of labels, and I do find myself pausing to check contents more frequently than pre-pandemic, a point in time that seems to have triggered a variety of big changes, not all of them publicized or announced. read more

This is my favorite Whole Foods in Colorado I've been to so far. We just moved here 3 months ago. So far I've only been to this location, Colorado Springs, and Castle Rock. I love the WF at SouthGlenn! The store is pretty big and carries many "hard to find ingredients". A ginormous salad bar. Not to mention it's very clean. This the closest Whole Foods to me and I come to this one quite a bit. Parking is plentiful but the lot is usually pretty crazy due to so many things being in the same shopping center. I also appreciate their selection of produce and grocery items. The reason I took two stars away is because I've been let down by the prepared food area a couple of times and now generally avoid it. My most recent disappointment was getting some prepared Chicken Noodle soup to go. When I got home I realized it only had two noodles in it. Another time I had an issue with a Clam Chowder that felt like it had sand in it. It just doesn't have the same quality prepared food that I've seen at the Cherry Creek, Hampden or Belmar locations. read more

I love the cafe at this Whole Foods and like going on Fridays when a large cheese pizza is only $9.99! My hubby and I had lunch here on our day off and split a bowl of ramen with a soft boiled egg, nori, ginger, mushrooms and chicken and a matcha sweet tea. Yum! He then ordered a cheese pizza, since it's such a better value than paying by the pound. The crust is thin but not too thin, the sauce is tangy and the cheese blend they use melts perfectly and is so nice and mild. The Sushi at the Southglenn location must be run by an entirely different company than the other WF locations. The Tamarac WF has great sushi with many options. The Southglenn location almost no salmon/tuna on huge balls of rice and it's more expensive than other Whole Foods. You can lift he salmon off the rice and see thru it because it's so thin. read more

This review is for the awesome customer service at the bakery. I called ahead to see about ordering cake blanks and buttercream for a cake decorating project. The manager at bakery was beyond helpful answering all my questions and getting my order ready in the 15 minutes I had left on my ride there. The quality of the white cake and buttercream were phenomenal. They held up really well the next 3 days as we decorated and devoured. Will definitely come again for my next cake project. read more

Worst Whole Foods I have been to for fresh vegan items that aren't pre-packaged. They have the same chocolate chip cookies every day and vegan donuts maybe once a week (always empty when I go at 8:30 am). The pay by the pound sections have limited choices (looks like boiled tofu is the staple) and while they have the beyond, the burger section is never open when I stop in for lunch. Same boring vegan Greek pizza everyday. Same vegan buffalo chicken wrap everyday in the case. Same TTL sandwich everyday - no variety, just laziness. I suggest the manager contact the Chandler, AZ manager for ideas (or really any other WF manager - I've never seen the lack of vegan variety in the fresh food area at a WF like this before). The produce I've purchased there has been of great quality and delicious. But the price, parking, and the clientele keep me away. Many items can be found for far less at other stores. I once ran out of a skin care product that I knew I could find at WF. I usually buy it at another store, but I wasn't near that chain. I found it at WF at DOUBLE the price. The parking is scary here. The people are aggressive. And inside the store there seems to be a lot of anger--not among staff (who are actually pretty great), but among the customers. It ruins my mood for the whole day. Who doesn't love Whole Foods? From amazing products, produce, and hot/cold food bar, you can't help but leave happy! This location has quite the food bar and the samples they give out are quite delicious! There is plenty of room to enjoy your to-go meal either upstairs or downstairs, with occasional live music upstairs. I haven't really done my grocery shopping here, but in the occasion that I'm already at the mall, it's a good endpoint to a day of shopping. Traveling sucks monkey junk and some nights you need to unwind...you just hope there isnt a disease waiting in the bath tub for you. - The WF had all the other stuff Whole Foods have. Vitamins, supplements, shoes made from hemp, lonely soccer moms, almond milks, 862 varieties of bacon, and hippy people working the cash registers. - I like WF for the health-conscious options, the "save the world" kind-of message, and the fact that after I shop at WF I'm so broke I can join the dudes pan-handling out in the parking lot. I'm 100% sure I could never work at WF. I don't have tats everywhere, I lost my tongue piercing when that went out in 1999, and I shower daily (sometimes twice a day!). I enjoy this Whole Foods because of the vast selection of food, baked goods, and produce. They offer so much selection, it can be a bit overwhelming, but everything I've tried we've really enjoyed. They serve up many varieties of food for lunch or dinner. The best is desert! Their homemade carrot cake in the bakery is amazing. By far the best Whole Foods in the Denver area. This store is polished and well stocked. Its has a huge produce section. And the bath, shower and self care section is one of the best I've seen. I found all the things I've been looking for in the other Whole Foods around town, such as, a coffee bar that is nice and tidy and has the dark chocolate powder AND the syrup for the dark mochas (so I had the mocha that I love). Pre-packaged healthy food choices that are made from locally sourced foods are offered here. Its in a GREAT location. I could go on but I won't. I think all can understand that this is the store to shop at in the Denver area. I travel for a living and Whole Foods is where I eat most of my meals when I'm on the road. I've shopped at Whole Foods off and on for years--not often, but enough to notice the recent changes. Never bought a lot there. Too expensive. But I could always count on them to have a few items I can't seem to get elsewhere. Or if I really wanted to wow dinner guests. That was then. Jeff Bezos might be a marketing genius when it comes to Amazon, but he doesn't know a damn thing about specialty food stores and why people like shopping in them. THIS is why: Whole Foods had class; it had cachet; it had ambience; it was elite. And the quality was often a cut above what you would find in the neighborhood supermarket. Sure, it has always been expensive, but part of the attraction was that Whole Foods was NOT just a supermarket. Snob appeal? You bet! And the world is full of store snobs, even among people who buy the vast majority of their groceries elsewhere. Sadly, thanks to Bezos and crew, the Whole Foods chain now seems to be striving for mediocrity. In trying to become "affordable" (which they still aren't), they are losing that special something that set them apart. Another 6 months or a year and Whole Foods will be just another grocery store--like I don't already have at least a half dozen Krogers, Safeways, and Sprouts within 10 minutes of my house, to say nothing of Walmart and Costco. read more
