I work right next door to Stater Bros and they have everything I need for lunch. It is so convenient! Stater Bros prices are fair. Do check out the deli as they have great to go lunches like the Turkey pot pie which is 7.99. It comes piping hot. The crust is flaky. It is packed full of chicken rotisserie and veggies. I visited this store about an hour ago to purchase a couple of ribeye steaks and shrimp. I usually don't leave reviews, but I had two instances where I felt the service was poor. First, the kid at the meat department seemed annoyed while helping me. He didn't offer any politeness whatsoever. The second incident involved a cashier on the 15 items or less lane. He was rude. I approached the lane without realizing it was closed. Instead of apologizing and informing me, he made a remark about the light not being on, which made me feel foolish. It's not often I go to grocery stores other than Costco. I live within 1/4 mile of the Canyon Crest Ralph's and usually go there for quick pick up items. The store is always a mess so today I went to Stater Bros. What a difference! It's a nice clean store with uncluttered aisles, neatly stocked shelves, a large selection of items, great meats and a friendly staff. this review is solely for their bakery. This is my second time ordering a cake from them and every time i ask when i should place my order and they say oh you can order even 24 hours. Last time i did that they had no dinosaur decoration.... so i ended up buying dinosaur decoration for the cake. This time i am ordering 3 weeks ahead... again no Frozen decoration. Asked if they would give a discount for no decoration kit but they will still do the cake with the icing decor and was told no... I shop at this location so often as it's my preferred location (even though I live 5 minutes from another) but today might have been my last. I ALWAYS bring my own shopping bags and as I was putting items into my bag I hear a worker over the intercom say something and then I see 4 employees run to the aisle I'm on and ask me "how I'm doing" as if I was stealing and I responded and said "good and yourself?" No response... and as I walk away I can hear the lady say "oh he's just shopping" As often as I'm here I see the same worker and have had conversations with her as well, do better! read more

Let me tell you just how excited I am that they are getting some amazing plants in the floral department. I picked up 2 monstera Thai constillation for a very fair price. I have been hunting for this plant since covid. During covid a plant this size would have gone for min $1000.00. I paid $130 each! They are huge and absolutely amazing. I personally didn't come in this location but had some fried chicken served at the celebration of life lunch and is good flavor overall.

This store needs to do a better job at ensuring that only grocery pick-up people are parking in the grocery pick-up spots. I just came to pick up my order and three of the four designated parking spots are occupied by empty vehicles. Another time all four spots were occupied by people doing their own shopping inside and I had nowhere to park for my pickup order. This issue doesn't happen at Ralph's on Canyon crest nor does it happen at the Walmart in Moreno Valley. Why does it continuously happen here? Do better. I contacted the customer service about this online and never got a response. In speaking with one of the employees, I was told that management doesn't care. So is this the culture of this particular store? Why even have grocery pick up parking spots? read more

Talked to a girl on the phone in bakery late at night and placed an order for the next day. I asked them if they could make me a surprise cake with 28 on it with anything that they want to add and to be as creative and fun about it because I wanted my own cake to be a surprise! She was happy to fill out my order and asked for my favorite color which is green. My husband picked up the cake the next day (February 5th) and I LOVED IT! Great spot for good quality food, fresh meat, chicken and deli foods. They allow me to return bad milk and old roasted chicken. I only was slightly concerned about the liver in the fridge because the containers are not closed fully and this can cause diseases because it's all basically blood and once it even dripped on me. The liver is great and fresh but needs to be placed in a sealed container. The fruits and especially blueberries are fresh and yummy. read more

Also, I shopped there at Good three times a week, and it never ceases to fail that you guys have expired goods on your shelves. Don't typically leave reviews for grocery stores but with today's prices things need to be said. If you're shopping for meat do yourself a favor and make the drive to the Woodcrest store. The meat department at Mission Grove will leave you wanting the Staters meat department of the past. Three times now I have felt I've wasted my money with the cuts at Mission Grove unlike the cuts offered at the Woodcrest. The staff at Mission Grove would do us all a favor by visiting the Woodcrest store to see what is expected from Staters meat. Even though it is more expensive here, I have become a regular now. You pay a little more and you get a little more. Everything in produce and meat/fish is super fresh. the meat department is awesome and the fish counter guy is great. The fish is always so fresh. I just don't buy fish anywhere else now.
