We had 90 people attending a 100th birthday celebration. We contacted Sprout's Deli department at 120th in Thornton and ordered several cheese and fresh fruit trays for the celebration. Talk about a HOME RUN! The Deli staff was incredibly helpful and had them artistically arranged. The fruit was firm, fresh and well proportioned. We knew we'd be getting a quality product in anything we purchase from this Sprouts store. They exceeded our expectations once again. This store is well organized & always inviting when shopping. Went in looking for a few items. Becca assisted me in finding them. Sadly one item was a seasonal item so they didnt have it but Becca was amazing! She was very patient with all of my questions and recommended alternative choices. At check out they were a little busy as we were walking up but she jumped on and helped get everyone out. We were in the area and stopped at this location, though we usually shop at the West Highlands or Arvada store. We were initially impressed by how clean, organized, and spacious it was, but that's where it ended. My husband and I went to the deli to order sliced meat, but after standing there for several minutes, neither of the two people working acknowledged us. No eye contact, no "hold on a minute" - nothing. He's not a small guy, so it definitely felt intentional We shrugged it off and checked the pre-sliced meats but didn't find what we needed, so we gave it another try - same thing. There was no bell or sign to indicate we needed to announce our presence. At other stores, someone usually asks if we need help. Next, we went to the meat counter and the exact same thing happened - no eye contact, no gesture, not a single word. Maybe the store stays so clean and organized because the staff is focused on appearances, not customer service. Next time we're in the area, we'll just take our chances with a drive-thru. read more

Started shopping here once I wanted to start taking better care of myself. Their food selection tastes and even feels healthier. The staff is awesome! They really do know their stuff and pointed me in the right direction for vitamins and other supplements for what I'm going for. Very rude employees, and long waits to check out. While coming here for meat, I witnessed one employee being passive aggressive towards two elderly ladies. Her body language and attitude were extremely negative, I saw her just push in front of them to swap price tags. One was rude to me directly. They said excuse me sir, jokingly I said I'm no sir. They muttered something that sounded close to "whatever the **** you are excuse me". Do not shop here. Mad/ sad employees is a symptom of bad management and bad leadership. While the employees should take responsibility for their attitude I've worked in environments like this where leaderships so bad, you hope to get fired to claim unemployment. I am new to the area, and purchased some fresh shrimp, and both times I felt ill afterwards. I am from Michigan, and thought maybe body is adjusting to thinner air. However, purchased some Boarshead honey maple turkey and pepper jack cheese, and both times after eating a sandwich I felt light headed, stomach uneasy, and vomited. I do remember I had to wait a longer time to pick up meat from deli. I drove the other day to Trader Joe's for groceries, I am not returning to Sprouts for food. read more

Wish I could give a zero. Worst customer service EVER! We used to shop at sprouts all the time. Today was the LAST dollar we will ever spend at sprouts. My wife went to the meat department and was asking some questions about the meat/seasonings. The employee was so rude and actually told my wife "why would you buy this meat if you don't know how it tastes or how to cook it?" Then several employees couldn't be bothered to call the manager for her. Really not sure if they are not being trained or just really don't care about customers or their jobs. She ended up leaving what she was buying and going to buy it all at SAFEWAY!!!! The manager was the only one that even seemed like she cared about the issue. read more

Stop by this morning before work and I got a few things. Honestly I can see why people wrote some bad reviews but perhaps things changed over a few months? People do have to understand that every store is short handed and the lines will be busy. I haven't had any issues and this is my second time at this location. Liz is a sweetheart very friendly and helped me out on the 20% vitamin sale. There was another lady working in the vitamin area that also gave me a coupon but I forgot her name anyways both great! Highly recommend everyone to give this place another chance. read more

If you want to get a sandwich here, don't, I love sprouts sandwich bar because normally there delicious and cheap, but every time I get one at this location it it's terribly done and the staff is rude, and not well trained. I will not be coming back. read more

Can I just talk about the handsome cashier Shyaa he's the main reason I'm coming in anytime soon! He was so sweet and lovely!

Had to stop in here everyday the last 3 days since my boyfriend was hospitalized at North Suburban Medical Center and I was happy that everyday they had fresh chicken noodle soup for him since that's all he wanted and yesterday they offered potato soup which is hands down his favorite! This was the perfect meal for his sensitive stomach and I'm so grateful they had everything stocked! I even found a pretty orchid for his room, so happy about that! The shopping complex is packed on the weekends so Caution when entering and exiting! The store itself was very well stocked, I had no problems finding the exact items I was looking for and the lines were a breeze! Staff was friendly and speedy during checkout but the only downside was their reusable bag selection! They had 4 options and I already had all of them but I love some of the other bag designs I've seen at other sprouts locations! Not having my own I was forced to buy a clone! Oh well! A decent sized Sprouts, though the organic produce, greens in particular, are frequently in poor condition. Other organic vegetables seem to spoil much faster than those I buy down the street at Natural Grocers, though the Sprouts prices are often a little lower. I have been here a number of times because my boyfriend works next door, however, I have also had a couple unpleasant experiences with cashiers which lead me to prefer Natural Grocers. The lines here can get very long during peak hours, and after a 15 minute wait in line my cashier reported there was a problem with her register and instead of moving us to another lane told us we would all have to just go to the back of the other lines and start the wait over. I decided to just leave my things at the register and go elsewhere. I have been to other Sprouts locations with much better service, so don't write off the chain as a whole. read more

I like to shop here for produce. It's mostly from Mexico but then again, a lot of King Soopers produce comes from there as well. The big problem with shopping here is check out. Whether it's slow or busy they only have 3-4 checkout lanes open. Customers are backed up into the bulk food area. I stopped shopping at other locations because they appeared to relish their gradual descent into filth and chaos, so I took my wallet elsewhere, but happened upon this location purely by chance. This is insane. The day before July 4th, 5:30 pm and there is only three checkers. The lines are 10 deep.

Not the best health food store. They play the health card bt most of their stuff is conventially grown. Their meat is of averge quality and their prices of non-sale items is terrible. You can however catch some great deals when things go on sale. But it's always a crap shoot and eventually you end up over paying for the convience of picking up a non-sale item. read more

I was going to visit my friend who lives "very far from civilization." She said her local grocery store certainly could not accommodate my new, highly restrictive diet. So her plan was to take me straight to Sprouts right after picking me up at the airport. Sounds great! I can't have most processed foods any longer. But I don't miss them, since I feel so much better. We were sure I could get plenty of fruits and veggies here. My friend had only eaten a mango once before. I eyed the ones at Sprouts and they just weren't ripe enough for my taste. Not a good second experience for her. I asked if she had ever tried jicama. She might have liked that, but I stuck with foods that were familiar to her, such as sweet potatoes. I decided I wasn't going to insist on 100% grass fed beef for this trip. Or on organic chicken. So I didn't check it out really carefully. I'm sure they were there. We got a lot of frozen fish, because we could thaw it out as needed for dinner, and I could have leftovers as lunches. I found raw milk cheddar - score! Coconut milk that did not have preservatives, which was in the refrigerated section. Organic, pastured sour cream and butter. Tea without "natural flavors" added. Hey, if it's "natural," why do they have to add it? Exactly! That's why the flavor enhancers and MSG are out of my diet; they were overstimulating my brain and increasing my appetite. I can walk right past a bag of Doritos now. Chocolate Snackaroons - score! They're like a cookie, and contain ingredients that are on my diet. There were lots of choices with all the coconut products: coconut oil, coconut sugar, unsweetened coconut flakes, etc. Almond butter was easy to find, but macadamia nut butter? Awesome! Brought this place up a notch. My friend liked it very much, too. If I had to survive off of the stuff they had there, I'm pretty sure I could. That was enough to make me a fan. read more

I love this store! I can get very fresh produce at a most reasonable cost. They also make the best sandwiches at the deli counter. I don't think most people know you can get a very healthy reasonable sandwich for around $3.99. The bread is very fresh. They have every kind of bulk item as well. Way better than Whole Foods (whole paycheck). The sale ad is always really good to have before you go in. I bought an apple today and it still had a green leaf on it! read more

Oh this place is going down hill. I miss when it was 5 star Sunflower. Recently the meats I purchased were spoiled. YUCK. These were sausages bought from the meat counter and opened the following day. Blah... Smelled like doggie doo. Then same thing with chicken breasts bought the following week. I'll never buy meat here again. Love the affordable produce here but a few containers of partially moldy raspberries and gritty (read old) apples and I'm wondering what is going on here these days.
