Again, I was in the other day and that very nice manager Colleen helped me find the things I needed. Being a senior citizen I appreciate when other people help me when I need some help. Sometimes it's embarrassing to have to ask but Colleen never treats you other than you being a great customer. It's been a few years since my last review and it's fair to say there has been some improvement at Sprouts. In regards to their produce, I still find that Wholefoods is superior, but Sprouts does come through on other things. They stock the Pasture Raised brand of chicken, which I like, in addition to pasture raised eggs and various other brands that I can count on being in stock. Their vitamin and supplement selection is great as well. For their packaged goods, they generally stock brands that I really like. I'm personally not too keen on their seafood selection so I avoid that as well. Again, for me, if the produce quality continues to improve Sprouts would be a four. read more

Love this farmers market fruit & veggies are always super fresh & they carry an array of organic items. I always seem to find amazing deals weekly & recently I've been on a hunt for cherries & this is the only grocery store I was able to locate some & even better they happened to be on sale. Sprouts always has interesting products. The best time to shop is in the evening. They were out of rack of lamb but luckily they had some more in the back. I went to the self check out and it was fast and convenient. The store is well lit and clean. read more

Upon entering I was greeted by a smiling friendly employee. While shopping I need some assistance with a few items and Liz showed me where I could find them. Another employee showed me a couple managers specials. I love a good deal. I was also able to get roast beef for ¢99 a pound. I have to leave the comments that the store is always clean . Horrible. Erica saved the day. Waited in line a ridiculous length of time. Lines and busy-only 1 cashier. TBF it's not just here. There is an alarming rate of movement to encourage all to use self-checkout. When I asked for help Erica responded kindly and quickly, opening a register. I was looking for something healthy to eat like a vegetable or fruit. I asked my Apple phone to find groceries for me. He indicated sprouts. I went there had a hard time parking my car and see where in the parking lot. Not enough lighting. However the inside was a different story it was full of light and all the spaces where was the used to the maximum. Presentation of the grocery was excellent. It was quick for me got my prunes it would've left. And they have strict one-way policy to get in and out. Employees were helpful. read more

I shop at this location weekly. Their produce is always fresh, great selection, fantastic prices for organic and non-organic. I don't shop the pantry isles much, but I purchase milk and eggs. Prices are always fair. Product always exceeds my expectations. The staff remember me every time I shop or do grocery pick up. Sprouts One thing I always look for in a grocery store is this it clean? the store was very clean. The other thing is the staff, the staff were very friendly and helpful and they were all wearing masks. They also had some plastic separation protection for their cashiers They're not totally organic but they have quite a bit of organic stuff. They were working on making sure everything looked well stocked and orderly. The vegetables seem to be plentiful and for a typical family grocery store that seemed like they had a fair selection of organic items. They also had grass-fed beef and bacon that was uncured. They also have some individually prepped items which are good for a senior that may want to not have to prepare everything. They even have some Frozen organic items which were particularly of interest to me. They also had an extensive selection of vitamins and other individual health care items. Their baked goods are pretty good too they have half loaves of bread which I think you're really nice. I've been when it's been crowded and not crowded and the line through the checkout area has always been fast. It's a complete grocery store with about everything that you could want. read more

I come to this sprouts for the vitamin selection, they have a lot of options to choose from. The lady that works the vitamin area that I see each time is so nice. She is really one of the only staff members that has constantly been friendly and very helpful. I don't like to go to sprouts much because the other employees are not as friendly. They don't seem to really like working there. They also almost always have a long line to check out. Another area I do like is the produce. They have a lot of organic options. When Sprouts first came to Sahuarita, you could shop the sales and ferret out some good meat and produce and some healthier ? snack items from the bulk area and feel like you hadn't been mugged and leave the store with $40 or $50 worth of groceries in one bag. Fast forward a few years, in Tucson on Speedway this past winter, trying to find anything reasonably priced was a struggle. I splurge on 2 beautiful porterhouse pork chops and 20 cents worth of grocery bags because I forgot to BMOB for what ever else I got. The pedigreed pork chops were a huge disappointment. I know how to grill a chop and these were the toughest and driest I've ever had. Long story short, if you see me at AJ's, Sprouts or Whole Foods, I've either hit the lottery, lost my mind or sm returning something to Amazon. read more

If you can't tell by how many times i have checked into this location of Sprouts, let me tell you in this review: I love it. Sprouts offers me safe shopping knowing that they offer a wide variety of organic and non gmo produce and grocery foods as well as health conscious beauty and cleaning products. I purchased toilet paper made from sugar cane and bamboo grass! Their deli counter offers only the highest quality meats and I love purchasing their store brand cheese at a low price. Fresh made sushi is there when I want it, which is pretty much all the time. Check out the water machine in the back for an fill up. I frequently take advantage of their fresh and affordable tortillas and grab a kombucha or yurba mate drink to keep me going on the ride home. Sprouts is one of my favorite grocery stores in Tucson! The produce is fresh, and beautifully displayed. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the sales are great! I love their deli, fresh sandwiches, and soups. There is a vast vitamin selection, and nice wine and beer selection, and check-out lines are usually short. I also love the bulk section full of nuts, and seeds, legumes, oats and other goodies. The store is just so inviting, it makes shopping for food fun! read more

I go to this location 2-3 times a week usually around 7am. The regular checkers really understand customer service and going forward I hope I visit on their work days. Today the new female checker had such an opportunity to delight me and she did not. I spent $16.01 and only had a $20 bill. The guest me behind me asked the checker, do you need a penny? She said "no" and I was so pleased because I thought she would give me four ones. But no, she handed me all the change and at that time there were several more in line so I just left. I realize I owed the penny but that penny investment would have made an already loyal customer, A FOREVER LOYAL CUSTOMER. I'm just disappointed because normally the Sprouts checkers have the ability to make common sense decisions and this new checker doesn't take the extra step. read more

I've been shopping at Sprouts for a long time now. For produce, they are definitely cheaper and fresher. Meats and other goods are a bit more pricey but also usually better quality. They are also a great place for people who have food allergies, are on special diets or need different goods. I give this location 5 stars because it is my favorite one in Tucson. They are always quick, efficient and clean. They have Very friendly staff as well. Their curbside pickup has been the most efficient of any of their locations. read more

Sprouts on 1st Ave is providing expired and near rotten produce for Instagram shoppers to select for you. I ordered 4 packages of Pure Pacific Organic romaine hearts. Two were fine but the other two were nearly rotten, warm and wilted and the other with so many tiny brown spots, it couldn't be used. I don't know if this is Sprouts fault or an Instagram shopper error. If this produce was selected from the store shelves, it shouldn't have been there. Is Sprouts telling Instagram to pick from discards? That's what it looks like to me. read more

I like Sprouts for its simplicity and ease. Making a fancy dinner that calls for a "frenched" rack of lamb or if you are making an elaborate meat and cheese board or if you are vegan or if you want to see a decent Asian foods section, this is the spot. Sprouts has a number of other bonuses: 1. Don't want to buy beans, olives, marinated peppers, nuts rice, granola or dried fruit in pre-packaged lot? No t a problem. They offer bulks foods. Grab a bag and take as little or as much as you like. 2. Decent wine selection with a small chilled section. You will also find craft beers, microbrews and IPAs here. 3. They have salt water taffy. 4. Don't feel like cooking lunch or dinner? Check out the meat counter. 5. They have French bread, sliced loafs, ciabatta, cheesy breads and a whole assortment of sweet breads and muffins and things. Though I find that support and service are always inconsistent here. That is one of the major differences between this location and the Speedway location, where I feel more at home. Here, you may find an employee brushing quickly past without giving a notice event though you have said "Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me," and a volume of increasing levels. That never seems to happen at the Speedway location. For many things, prices are reasonable. But not always. It can get pricey here pretty fast. But the quality tends to be right on. So you got that going for you. read more

To be honest I rarely go to sprouts as the prices are definitely higher then frys which is less then half mile down the road. They do have a few products that I can't get anywhere else so I stop by now and again. Everytime I do, the employees are super friendly and helpful. The meat selection is quite good, and I like the variety. I do shop for instacart from to time also and the produce is always really good. Sprouts often has great prices on great produce. We regularly check their weekly flyers for deals. This store on 1st Ave. is a typical Sprouts. It used to be a Sun Flower Market, with Sun Flower merging into Sprouts recently. It is clean and organized. It is a medium-sized store. Service is always good. Good selection of "healthy" items if that is what you are interested in. It has a modest bulk section. We find that bagel prices here are excellent. $2.99 for a sleeve. I tried one of their deli soups today--Roasted Butternut Squash Bisque. Not bad. It was sweet and seasoned with curry. I love the slogans on the shirts of their workers. One of them says "From farm to fork." Another "Weed 'em and reap." Clever. It is one of our regular stops for groceries. read more

Decent neighborhood grocer, but both the butcher and produce area have horrible service attitudes. Produce acts like customers are in the way and mostly wear sour faces in hope they are not approached. The butchers are lazy and do not educate ( for instance, difference between rump and chuck), also prefer not to make special cuts at customers request. Also,, bring back Matt's Fig Cookies from the days of Sunflower! when visiting other sprouts, clearly service is a management issue. read more

I visit sprouts about once a day. I work as a chef and am always feeling creative. Sprouts offers a great selection of produce and their prices are very reasonable as compared to other "health food" stores. Sprouts seems to have awesome sales every other weekend. Last night we purchased bags of chips that were buy one get two free. Also on Wednesday their in house sushi is $5 a roll, depending on availability and when you show up. I love sprouts read more
