This was my first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Very nostalgic decor, but not fancy. Food was made to order, came out hot and tasted yummy. My daughter loved getting her kids meal in a pink paper car and she was excited to bring it back home to play with. Eating in the dining room requires you to bus and clean up your own table which was different but we were fine with it. I look forward to a future visit to try the Funnel Fries and ice cream. The place was busy for a Friday night so you know it must be good.

This is an old time drive in restaurant. You get out of your car and walk up to the window to order. They call out your name when your order is ready. They at some point added a cute little building beside the restaurant with tables to sit at inside and eat. I'm glad they had someplace to go inside to eat. We all ordered burgers. I got a single and it was larger than I expected. The patty looked hand made. It was delicious. Very juicy and well seasoned with a soft buttery bun. We got one order of fries and all 3 of us had plenty to eat. The fries order was really big. I also got a chocolate ice cream cone. The ice cream was really good. It did take a little while to get our food but it was made fresh so worth waiting for. They were also busy that night. The prices were great. Perfect for a family to go eat without it costing a huge amount. They also had lots of kid friendly foods. I highly recommend this little restaurant,

Spurlock's Malt Shop in Anna is a nice retro "drive-in" with a separate room for seating. The hamburger was fine (but not great). The corn dog good but small. The Malts made up for a lot! Good sized, lots of malt and flavor. It's worth the trip to Anna to try this!

At this point, I have tried this place 3 times. I had the frito pie, the corn dog, funnel cake fries, coyote burger, and onion rings. The strength of the 4 stars is mainly because of the corn dog and the funnel cake fries. The corn dog is something special. The funnel cake fries are a sweet pillowy treat. The frito pie is just ok. I actually ordered this again on a second visit because I was thinking there was a mistake made with chili. I was expecting a creamy chili as chili is known... I was advised the second time the minced ground meat is Texas chili. It has no creamy effect. I am a Texas native and I am use to a creamy chili. I make mine with beans and meat. So, by preference I do not like the "chili" used. It leaves the frito pie dry. The coyote pride burger was ok. The concept is cool. The grilled cheese has the bacon grilled into it. The cheese was rather dry. The burger was just ok as the meat is not as tender as I would have liked. The onion rings were good. They had a hint of sweet. More breaded, gooey inside than a beer batter whole onion experience. Worth trying if you like the old school malt shop vibes.

We were in Anna for the day and decided to try Spurlock's and it was incredible! The burger was great but the onion rings were even better. So crispy and fresh, some of the best onion rings I've had. And the fried Oreos were life changing! So delicious and even better than the state fair! Definitely stop here if you're in Anna!!!

We wanted to come here for awhile to eat and finally made the journey! Although they were pretty busy, we were waited on promptly. Servers friendly and made sure read order back for accuracy. Food was hot and tasty. I had grilled chicken wrap & fried pickles and my Bride had Chili cheese burger & tatter tots. The chicken wrap was HUGE! Delicious and tasty! Loved the fried pickles as had a tasty seasoning and ranch dressing. My Bride loved the Chili burger too! Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert but Definitely will bring back my folks to eat at this true Texas historic malt shop and Classic diner!

Their fried Oreos are better than the ones at the TX state fair! They often have holiday specials and monthly specials, too. Support local!

Their shakes and ice cream were good according to my son. Cute little 50s diner look. The guy at the counter was really polite.

Greasy food and bad attitudes. Open when it convenient for them. No thank you! It's a cool idea, but this miss the mark

What a cozy local coffee shop! I ventured out early last…read moreweek for a coffee and found Country Charm Coffee. I ordered an iced Americano and vanilla latte. Both were fresh and caffeine hit the spot! Both my husband and I noticed after we had been on the go all morning! Next time we will try other drinks and maybe something off their food menu.

Headed home this Sunday morning. We had breakfast at Sunview Café, in Anna. I needed more caffeine…read morefor the drive. Just a few blocks east is Country Charm Coffee. They were open on this bright sunny morning. It is a modern small coffee shop, capable making just about any coffee concoction that you could want. The very friendly owners were managing the counter this morning. I had an Americano with a shot of cream. My wife had some kind of white mocha or something. Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies. The name of the shop "Country Charm Coffee" is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The shop is one mile east of US-75 on the north side of W. White Street. Skip Buc-ee's coffee in Melissa and support this local business.
