The gelato is home made and delicious! So upset I didn't get to try the pizza, I was too full from eating at this amazing family's other restaurant, EONS Stix. I must make it back there because their flour is imported from Italy, this is something not too common around here. You can smell the amazing pizza the moment you walk in the door. The family who owns this place is so kind and the woman serving the gelato was so welcoming and personable. Highly recommend!!

Again must go and try out. I travel 40 miles round trip plus tolls every other week. It's the best pizza. Every week they have specials. This week was carne asada . Amazing !!! Had to take some home. The staff is great. Anoush the owner is great. Took a photo with her today. Have to stop by and make sure you get on their email lists for weekly specials. .... Picked up one of their hats today to... thanks again....

Came here with a friend. We had a good time. There was a band playing right outside the entrance. The hostess was very nice and friendly as well as attentive. We ordered 6 different slices. Mushroom, spicy, Margherita, veggie, buffalo chicken & vodka pizza. I like the mushroom and veggie the best. I felt the spicy would be good if had more cheese on it (mozzarella not ricotta) but that's my preference. We also got a complimentary glass of wine. The establishment is giving local pizzeria with a touch of class. Lastly get an order of gelato. Made in house and delicious!

This spot is situated in what seems to be an apartment/business park hybrid. Those are some lucky folks because this spot has some great pizza! The inside is a sleek modern take on a pizza spot. The staff was super nice and helpful with recommendations. I'll admit that I was a little nervous when I saw the conveyor belt slice heater but my fears were put to rest after the first bite. We started with the CBR and white slice. The ranch was added after the heating which is a nice touch, warm ranch isn't always great. The ranch must be homemade as it was delicious and had a touch of sweetness that went perfectly with the salty, smokeyness of the other toppings. The white was everything you could ask for: delicious ricotta, cheesy, crispy crust, with a nice zing of garlic. The vodka slice was also delicious and the fresh basil was a welcome touch. This will be a must stop when I pass through on my way to NY!

Greeted by a very welcoming female who was anxious to deliver good service. The pizza was a bit too think for our liking and it lacked flavor. The toppings were also sparse. The arugula salad was good and fresh and the chocolate gelato was very good. I sampled The pistachio gelato which I felt did not taste like pistachio- it tasted more like cream. Overall it's a nice casual place and it was clean.

Sandwiches were excellent! Large in size and full of fresh and flavorful ingredients! We tried The District and the Meatball Parm Roman sandwiches both very tasty. Meatball Parm should be served with silverware as it's hot and messy to eat with your hands. I liked the presentation on boards but plate service would be better.

I was excited to finally try SQ Pizza after passing by it many times. Based on the photos and reviews I thought I was in for some amazing pizza but unfortunately the pizza looked a lot better than it tasted. Two of us ordered 3 slices online and was ready at time of pick up. We split 3 slices, a chicken parm, vodka margherita , and an upside down slice. The chicken parm slice had one small cluster of chicken on it. Overall the 3 slices were only okay with a slight chewy texture. I will say the crust is very good and was the highlight of the show. Maybe it will taste better at the restaurant, but overall there are many better local take out pizza places.

I was super excited about giving this place a try. Then I arrived. I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into an event, and there was a live band playing. The place was super cute! I ordered pizza of different kinds, including the margarita and the Buffalo chicken. I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken one, and my friend liked her Veggie pizza. Found out the pizza is non gmo, so I didn't feel full. We also had the homemade gelato coffee flavor, and that was good! Lastly, we had the bbq wings, and that was delicious! We had an amazing time!

Every time I have gone to SQ Pizza, I've had a great time. The food is always excellent and the staff is incredibly nice. I've gone for both the pizza and the gelato separately and both are amazing. The ingredients are fresh and the dough is very soft And taste delicious. Flavor consistency all top-notch... I'm definitely coming back.

So I have been to the SQ Pizza in Mahwah a few times and I love it there. I was not sure what I was expecting at this location before going but I went with an open mindset. As soon as I walked in, the employees there were extremely friendly and patient while I decided what to order. I usually get the spicy pie slice so I had to get that again but asked for a recommendation for the second slice. I am glad I chose the chicken ranch slice too! I did not have to wait long and received my pizza crunchy and hot. The spicy pie slice is really spicy and I enjoyed it just the same as the other location. The chicken ranch was delicious as well. I ended my meal with the strawberry gelato. They let you try out the flavors you are interested in. It was very creamy and probably one of the best gelatos I personally have ever had. I highly recommend all to come enjoy here!

SQ pizza is new the area and I finally was able to give it a try. Starting with the ambiance beautiful yet casual. I love the floor to ceiling concept and in the middle of a brand new construction site like the North Market in Montvale, everything is new and beautiful. Ambiance overall is casual. Seems like a spot with a lot of parents and kids (based on when I went) the food was good. I especially liked the regular cheese pizza. The vodka Margarita was not the best. Service was great. The pistachio gelato was delicious. I would definitely visit again for gelato in the summer. They have a takeout option for those who need to grab something and go.

What Tommy Greco, Chef Nicolas Pescatore, and their team are putting together here goes well beyond a typical night out. It feels curated, intentional, and genuinely exciting from start to finish. From the moment we sat down, the energy was right. The service was dialed in without being overbearing, and every course felt like it had a purpose. The tasting menu that night was a full experience, layered with creativity and bold flavor combinations that somehow all worked effortlessly. We started with a Snack Trio that set the tone immediately. Grilled mahi mahi with Aleppo pepper and charred lemon delivered bright, smoky notes. A rich foie gras with rhubarb jam on toasted milk bread struck the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The prawn toast on brioche with sesame, miso, and panko brought crunch and depth in every bite. The red snapper ceviche followed, incredibly fresh and vibrant, with yuzu lime, serrano, and green strawberry adding a unique twist that elevated the entire dish. Then came a stretch of courses that really showed off the kitchen's range. The tender greens with mortadella yakitori brought unexpected flavors together seamlessly. The caramelized onion casoncello with a light spicy vodka sauce, mascarpone, and prosciutto was rich yet balanced. The ramp lasagna bianco with white bolognese and béchamel was pure comfort, elevated to another level. For dessert, the strawberry rhubarb tartlet closed things out beautifully. Amaretto custard, toasted meringue, dark chocolate shell, olive oil, and sea salt created the perfect sweet finish without feeling heavy. We also added a couple of extras that were absolutely worth it. The East Coast oysters with lacto fermented melon mignonette were incredibly fresh and bright, and the 40 day dry aged filet mignon with house made NamJim Kosho was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Bottom line, this is not just dinner, it is an experience. The creativity, execution, and hospitality are all on point. We will definitely be back very soon because there is still so much more we want to explore and experience here. What makes it even more impressive is how they transform a humble empanada shop into such a refined and decadent dining experience. The ambiance was just right, intimate, elevated, and perfectly suited for a night like this.
