    Soppressata Hot Honey Pizza
    Kristina I.

Came here for my birthday (1/21/26) ready to order the chicken parm sandwich to find out that it is no longer on the menu. Seriously, I had a candle for it and everything. Our waitress told us that sandwiches had all been pulled from the menu due to low popularity. In the last year 2 of our favorite items that we regularly come for left the menu. Chicken parm sandwich and Sicilian are both gone. Yes, Sicilian is still available on Sundays, but Sunday is usually impossible for us so to us, it's gone. We ordered Mozz sticks and small vodka roni pizza. As always the Mozz sticks were delicious, but the price jumped from when we were here in December 2025 ($12 to $16 ). We tried the vodka roni pizza which is new to the menu and it was not our favorite. The dough was perfect - strong and well developed and the roni cups beautifully curled, but this pizza didn't need to take a bath in vodka sauce. I can appreciate all the elements that came together for this pie individually, but when it arrived looking like soup in a bread bowl with ronis poking out, I knew that we chose incorrectly. The prices of all the pizza has gone up pretty significantly since the end of 2025. 2 beers, 1 small pizza ($20), and an order of mozzarella ($16) sticks was $54 pre tip. Service was good, but overall this trip was a miss. Please bring back our beloved chicken parm sandwich.

Pizza was fantastic. A Hot honey and pepperoni and a burrata. Nice light crust and terrific sauce, cheese and toppings. We sat in the adjacent brewery at which you can order Pan and Peel food. Service was great and the ambience was very nice. Real good beer.

Hidden Gem in Pearl River Walking through the main streets, I stumbled upon this small hole-in-the-wall pizza spot. There's no seating area--just a simple walk-up counter--but don't let that fool you. The pizza had a perfectly crispy thin crust, and the seasoning and sauce were spot on. Absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

    16" cheese pizza

In a town with plenty of choices for pizza, this place was unimpressive. I tried the cheese pizza to get a sampling of something basic. The pizza is 16", however, my pie had at least 2" of plain, flavorless crust on the outside. That made it essentially a 14" pie. The tomato sauce tasted like plain tomato puree and was sour. Sadly, I didn't taste much effort in the sauce and there was barely any cheese on top as well. One person in my family found it salty, but I didn't notice it any different from other pizzas as they are all usually salty. Overall, for $20, this pie was not worth it to me. So many better choices in town. Other places have bigger, tastier basic pizzas that cost less. I have no plans to try it again.

Best pizza I've had in ages. Pepperoni hot honey was fabulous and the crust was light and airy.

I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food. And ... No credit card fee!

Not too comfortable. Service was generally fine. Our server took care of us in the bar area, but she also had to deal with tables in the dining room. She did a good job. There must be another bar somewhere else because it seemed like our drinks weren't prepared behind the bar. They'd take a while to prepare after ordering and then come trickling in from somewhere else. The pickle chips, shishito peppers, wings (dry rub and buffalo), chicharon, were all great. Everyone especially liked the bee sting flatbread. The Queen flatbread was rather basic and not too popular, but I think it's supposed to be plain. Something else disappointing for me was that they don't have happy hour specials or a happy hour menu. Everything had to come from the main menu. Not much incentive for a group hitting the local spots for a fun happy hour.

The empanadas would have been very good if cooked a bit longer since they were a bit gummy inside. The shrimp ceviche was served in red sauce and was absent of a decent amount of shrimp. It was tasty but more of a salsa rather than a ceviche. The rib special lacked the promise of the flavors of the chipotle bbq sauce that was promised and described in the menu -- the pork lacked flavor. The chicken Milanese appeared to have been deep fried in a fryer rather than pan fried per tradition. This made the thin slices a bit tough and chewy which was unexpected. Disappointing that I didn't listen to my server who tried to steer me in a different direction as he advised. We haven't been wowed here the last three visits but will give it another shot in a few weeks to see if things have changed for the better. Listen to your servers, people!!

I won't be heading back to Peppercorn's anytime soon, GUARANTEED!…read more My wife and I came in and were warmly greeted by the bartender and our drink order was taken promptly and made perfectly...but that's unfortunately where the compliments end for both the restaurant and the bartender. We ordered Nachos for an appetizer and they came out cold. Cheese on the bottom was melted, whatever crap they put on top was ice cold and not melted. Not sure if this is the way they make them ordinarily, but I've never eaten nachos with cheese that was not melted ... we sent it back to be reheated and got a face from the bartender about it... didn't bode well in her favor but more to come on her shortly. Next both of us got The Godfather sandwich with added chopped bacon... it came out undercooked in some parts of the meat hut after the face for sending back the nachos, I sucked it up and just ate the edible parts... in addition to this though, they don't serve it closed. It is not an open faced sandwich, but served open-faced...not terrible, but just weird to me. Probably to prevent room on the plate for more fries to be added. So now the meal has ended, we ask for the check and notice a couple of unusual charges... I had 2 Belvedere and 7up w a lime and my wife had two Spicy Margaritas. We were each charged $25.00 for our 2 drinks...no issues...where it gets nutty is the additional separate charges listed vaguely at $7 and $4. Now the complaint isn't about cost per se, but rather the sneakiness and seemingly dishonest approach by the bartender that was unnecessary. My wife questioned the charges and we were told some nonsense about having to up charge because it was a larger glass for a margarita and it doesn'tcome in a smaller glass...WTF? First off, she didn't ask for a larger glass. Next, why isn't there just a charge for a margarita at one price? If you only serve it in one size, why do you need an up charge on a taller glass? That was the explanation for the 7.00 charge, 3.50 for each drink she had. The 4.00 charge I couldnt even make sense out of ... she explained that it was because margarita's have more than 1 liquor so she had to add an additional liquor fee. What in the holy hell is going on with the pricing for this drink???? So now as far as I can understand we have a $12.50 FLAT fee for a margarita according to its initial charge on the check. Then 3.50 extra for each drink because it is served ONLY in a pint glass... and a $2.00 per drink for extra liquor because more than 1 type of alcohol was put in the Margarita... so now a $12.50 Margarita on the menu becomes an 18 dollar upsell when no one asked for anything larger or additional, other than the way it should be poured according to the drink menu... it was sneaky, underhanded and it made us feel like we were targeted as unsuspecting patrons who wouldn't be back again and the upcharge didn't matter. Well she was right and wrong... wrong that it doesn't matter and was not wrong to do, but she was right that we won't be back again
