Delicious! Our group of 7 stopped by Uncle Louis after a dance recital on a Sunday afternoon and were very impressed with the service and food. The employees were welcoming, friendly and prompt. The menu has a nice variety of items to choose from. We tried a pizza with meatballs and it was delicious. The crust was about as perfect as you can find around the area and it was topped with an ample portion of meatballs. The side of french fries was a large portion. The rest of the group sampled their paninis- the Caprice and the Milano were both great! The dinner salad that was ordered was fresh, large, and contained a good sized portion of chicken. Uncle Louie's is a nice spot serving a very vast menu. It definitely took a minute to figure out what to order! For a starter we ordered calamari and then our own individual entrees. This is a solid sit down Italian restaurant with reasonable prices and portion sizes. My boyfriend and I come every week! He loves the Buffalo chicken and penne vodka pizzas. The little kids that work here are absolutely poorly, trained, and ridiculous My order was sitting right in front of her as she was just typing away on her cell phone at the register. I had to wait for her to finish doing what she was doing on her cell phone. I looked over and she's texting somebody while my order is in front of her. Good Italian restaurant across the Montvale Lanes Bowling. After going to bowling, you can stop there since they are right across from each other. A great pizza place for lunch today. They may sell slices but it look cool down and I decided to stay in for just a whole pie. This is exactly how I like from NY/NJ pizza. Good balance of the dough, sauce and cheese also important thing is thickness and done-ness. Delicious, fresh casual pizza joint with NJ's best. We got takeout & it was very good. Highly recommend the Eggplant Rollatini pizza, so delicious. Their Vodka sauce is awesome. It seems as though uncle Louie's is not what it used to be to be. I don't know if they are using cheaper ingredients but it seems that way.The pizza just isn't good. Three pies cost me $70 and I felt disappointed. For $95 I can get Chinese food with many dishes and have left overs for my Families lunches the next day. If the pizza at Uncle Louie's was better I wouldn't mind over paying for cheese and dough. I have had better frozen pizza. read more

Was nearby the Montvale train station and I was looking for something new to eat. I checked yelp and found this place. There's dine in service and take out available. I was somewhat of a hurry, so I just ordered a few slices. I tried the neopolitan slice and two Sicilian slices. It was enough to fill me up. Well, it took a few years but we did go back for a proper sit-down pizza fest. Oh yeah... The pies: cheese, margherita, pepper-onion-sausage were fantastic. More on the thin side, very good sauce. Tasty. Garlic bread to start, which was also very good. Caesar salad nice and fresh, just the way I like it: no croutons, light on the dressing. So yesterday I placed an order for Pepperoni Pinwheel, Penny, à la vodka w/Grilled Chicken and Neapolitan Pizza w/pepperoni. Hostess was courteous and efficient. The delivery was prompt and well within the time window. Believe I was told 45mins and food arrived in less than 30mins. This was also a 3pm Saturday call so not during usual busy hours(keep in mind). As far as the food goes everything was fantastic. Living in Pearl River I would have to say this is my favorite Italian place that has delivery(not DoorDash BS but hired drivers) and is consistent. I will admit I am not a great explorer of menu options. I find things I enjoy and reorder the items. Definitely recommended giving this place a try. I had been wanting to try this place for a few months. Finally got over there last week with some girlfriends. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and always there if we needed something. He was very on top of it. I had a Caesar salad & Fettucine Alfredo with shrimp which were both delish. My friends had a salad and a soup. They enjoyed their food. I also took a pizza and zeppoles home. The only thing I wish could have happened was for the waiter to tell me the zeppoles were HUGE. Because I ordered 10 of them.. And when I got home, I realized maybe 4 would have been more than enough!! They were totally delicious! read more

It's a Friday during Lent so we decided to try Uncle Louie's Pizza in Montvale NJ. So glad we did. We ordered a Grandpa Pizza, deep dish, mozzarella, San Marzano tomato sauce, grated Parmesan and olive oil placed on the pie in that order. Utterly delicious. The crust was super light and cooked perfectly. Service was good and price wise was very reasonable. The decor is no frills as it seems the focus is the food and rightfully so. I was on the road with a few friends coming back to Boston from the Jersey Shore and we randomly decided to stop here. It was around 3pm on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. The restaurant looked really nice for a place to grab a slice. We ended up getting a large chicken parm pie (which was delicious) and a small penne vodka pie. Having eaten this location prepartions, I am not at all enthralled. The place before a Greek place calling themselves Italian was filthy and worse. On a Ten Scale I rate this a minus one. Filthy. If you're looking for great pizza look no further than "Uncle Louies" they've got you covered. With Louies you get an excellent pizza cooked to perfection, loaded with delicious toppings. The grandma pizza is a personal favorite! It's a thinner version of Sicilian with an amazing sweetish sauce that's not chunky. The Stromboli is really good too!
